DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. — improper service in delivery | |||||
Hi, I am Joheb, I had given a box on 27July-13 from my place in ghaziabad to be delivered to guwahati. Today I checked the status it shows it is being delivered, when i called to enquire whether it has reached to the place mentioned, well it hasn't. the couirer guys have just called the mentioned number & asked the person to get deleivery by himself around 3-4 kms away. What kind of service is that ? Do we need to pick up goods ourselves then why the hell should we need your service. We could use the India post. I want the parcel delivered to the address. DTDC / COURIER SERVICE — Shipment not Delivered (Very Poor Service)
I have sent a envelop from Hyderabad to Kerala, Perinthalmanna (PIN 679322) (Shipment No:H[protected]. Its already 9 days over still its not delivered to the recipient. Its not the fist time happening. Really very poor service.DTDC — Delivery issue
I sent a consignment through DTDC from chennai to cuddapah (200 Kms) on 6th of April,2010. The consignment number is C28235360. They confirmed that the shipment will reach the destination address by 7th noon. Based on the assureance I send the consignment through DTDC. The consignment nor even reached Tirupathi (half way from chennai) by 7th noon. when I called DTDC customer care multiple times, they finally confirmed that there was a mistake and the shipment just reached tirupathi and it will not be delivered on 7th. (This response is provided after calling the customer care multiple times and the way they respond to customers is really bad). Today they shipped the delivery to Kurnool rather shipping the same to cuddapah (One must cross cuddapah to travel to Kurnool). This information is updated in tracking sheet. The worst part is that they are not admitting the same and they keep saying from today morning that the shipment reached cudappah and the delivery boy is bounded to make the delivery. When I called DTDC, Cuddapah they said taht there was a mistake and the shipment is sent back to Cudddapah and hopefully it will reach by 7:30 PM today. The way dustomer care people respodning was really bad. When I informed the DTDC, cuddapah guy that DTDC comitted to deliver the shipment yesterday itseld, He said that we never comitted that we will deliver the shipment ina day and it was my mistake.He also says that it will take a mimimum of 2 days to send a shipment from chennai to cuddapah.I really dont beleive that these people will make the delivery atlease today by 7:30PM as committed.
If they dont have good logistics to deliver a package in a day, they must admit and say that it will take 2 days. They comitted that they will do. They didn't do it. Additional the way they are responding to customers is really bad.

DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. — Consignment not delivered even after a month.
I booked one cosignment with DTDC Courier & Cargo in Kolkata for delivery to Jamshedpur. The date of booking was on 11.01.2012. However the consignment never reached the distination. I've lodged a complaint with the Courier service but to no avail. The scanned copy of receipt is enclosed for needful.DTDC — missing product

DTDC — Service Delivery
The service delivery of DTDC is very very poor . I have recieve a courier within one day . it hasnt been reached for five long days . The courier was booked on 10-04-09 that even within an area ie chennai . the consignment no is even S37053042. Govt must not allow like this companies to come in as it is very much affecting public . The worst customer care and service delivery they provide .Shame on DTDC ..
