[Resolved]  Easycabs — Horrible service and communication by the company

I booked cabs using Easy Cab facility in Hyderabad on 20th Sep 2013 for a 6:30 PM pick-up. I booked the cab much in advance the previous days almost 24 hours in advance on 19th Sep, 2013. When the representative who took my call was completing the booking procedures, I double checked with him for availability of the cabs and he assured me that there is availability. So, he confirmed it for me. As a part of their process, he also informed me that I'll receive the cab and driver details 30 minutes prior to the pick-up time of 6:30 PM via a message on my mobile number. When I didn't get any response on my mobile till 6:20 PM, I started to wonder what's happening. Suddenly, I get a message from the company at 6:22 PM that due to unavailability of cabs, they are not providing any cabs for my booking. It was an important event that I had to attend, and due to the last minute cancellation of my cab, I had to miss it. The cab was cancelled at the last moment and I didn't have any time to make any other reservations with any other cab services due to horrible communication and service by Easy Cabs Hyderabad. When I called their helpline to ask for a reason of why was I not informed in advance when the services were canceled, they didn't have an answer for me. I also questioned them that I booked the cabs much in advance about 24 hours ago and after checking multiple times with the representative, the representative had confirmed the booking for me. Then how was it possible that the cabs were suddenly not available at the last moment. Do they not block vehicles and drivers in advance for bookings? And even if they were canceled, why was I not informed in advance, so I could have some time to make other arrangements for me. The representative had no answers for anything that I was asking. I'm never going to trust their horrible services again where they confirm the bookings at first and then without any prior notifications, just cancel the cab at the last moment leaving no time for the consumer to make any other arrangements. Additionally, they also do not follow the process of sending a message to the consumer's phone number to provide booking related information 30 minutes in advance. My advise to other people looking for easy cab services in hyderabad is that they should not trust their services at all.
