[Resolved]  Employees' Provident Fund Organization, Salt Lake, Kolkata — Transfer of PF from WB/33893 to WB/40804/42

Attached doc#1: letter of PF Commissioner.pdf is the copy of the letter dated 01.12.05 from S.R.O Park Street, Employee Provident Fund Organization Kolkata on the transfer of my PF from WB/33893/278 to WB/40804/42. From the letter it reveals that the entire amount of my PF accumulations has already been transferred to R.O. Kolkata in favour of WB/40804/42. This transfer should be reflected in the A/C slips for the years[protected] issued from WB/40804 - new account. It's more than 4 years since I have been following it up but till now this PF transfer has not taken place. This year on 16th of July I had given an application addressed to the Regional P.F. Commissioner, Regional Office, Salt Lake (attached doc #2: letter to PF Commissioner.pdf ) which was dully received by the office and promised to me that the needful would be done. After about 5 months, when I did not receive any communication, I visited the office on 4th November 2009. Surprisingly this time also, I was again advised by the office to give a fresh application and in order to expidite the process I have to go the Park Street office to collect the annexure-K of my earlier PF account WB/33893/278 myself and give it at Salt Lake PF office.

This is really very unfurtunate and frustrating. I'm now in a fix as to where do I go and whom would I approach.
