[Resolved]  Esbeda — Duplicate Bags

Hi,
I bought this handbag from the Esbeda showroom in R-City Mall - Ghatkopar. I discovered that the inside zipper was faulty and they had not even chkd the piece before selling it to me. I got it replaced the next day. After I began using it in a couple of days the main compartment zipper stopped working. After Paying 1500 /- Rs a person does not expect such a default to happen again. When the issue was told to the store mgr, just tweeked the zip a bit and gave it back saying that nothing else can be done. The problem still remains.
It is definitely not any imported product, it is utterly a 3rd Grade item made from inferior quality components. They also have no courtesy in their service and customer relationship. Advise to all reading this not to buy any Esbeda product from anywhere and specially the R-city outlet.

i myself bought a bag from esbeda showroom at mega mall oshiwara for 2200 inr i used it for about 3 days n the leather started cming out from the bag n also the brand name is nt being mentioned on any side of the bag this shows that the brand uses the duplicate bags n use the esbeda brand name they open the shop n keep the low quality products in their shop n fool thje people who buy their bags because they are .

I bought an Esbeda leather bag for my mom..just 2 weeks ago. She hated it instantly..and told me that shes used leather bags all her life..and that Esbeda is just plastic! I too, felt the same at first, but since I dind't have much knowledge on leather stuff..I thought I'm buying the real thing. Its really sad that I can't even do much since we travelled that very day back to Dubai. It was indeed my mistake to even think that India can make good stuff!

Last saturday i.e 1st August 2009, evenI bought a Esbeda bag costing Rs1400/- from Inorbit Mall Vashi, Esbeda outlet I hasno logo or branding on the bag, keen to know if its a duplicate bag or genuine product.

i recently bought an Esbeda bag from Inorbit mall, Malad. The bag has a metal tag with ESBEDA embossed on it. I have just started using it and no complaints as yet...hope its not fake!

ESBEDA is a local indian brand and its a mumbai based.you people know a shop name SUNWAY in kamps corner mumbai they people r the owner of ESBEDA brand.and its completly made in china than they put there label and make you people fool.thats all

Ya true.!!! it happened the same with me also i bought this handbag from the Esbeda showroom in R-City for 3500/- Mall - Ghatkopar n the zip came off right after 2 days i feel other other brands are much better comparetively, i baught one bag from "remanika" for 2000/- its been 3 months n even now the look is so new after being so roughly used.

Guys actually ESBEDA IS not an international brand. The ones you find in INDIA are exported from china market and sold in onli in mumbai and delhi.

They do not even have an website. I personally think you guys r wastin ur money

I have used a lot of Esbeda bags because I really like their designs. But the quality is really bad for the price you pay. All of them have had the cloth in the bag tear in less than a month and the leather starts peeling. Wish they do something about it since I really like their stuff.

As all above, I also purchased this handbag from Esbeda, Oberoi Mall Goregaon, Mumbai and in the last eight months I have given it for repairs three times at the showroom.

First, the handles came off.
Second, all the cloth inside tore off and the store incharge said that it was aproblem with that particular model and kept my purse for 2 months to complete repairs.
Third, the zippers came off-- another 15 days for repairs
and now all the leather or raxine as it looks has started coming off and the total money spent is a waste. I spent 1700 bucks on this one. and it is useless now.

ive bought 3 bags in the past 2 yrs from ESBEDA... i hvnt encountered any problems yet...i use them evryday...n all materials zippers all r fine...

The same thing happen with me...
I have bought one hadbags woth of Rs 1500/- form ESBEDA show room Oberoi Mall after some time i found one of the side belt removed off and when we gave it back for the reparing to the showroom staff (Mr.Umesh) ask me to come after 15 days and when went again to take it back then they say still it will take time to repair and his behaviour was very roud and has lots of attitude he even dont know what is customer service. Even i m also working in the same service industry as a manager but never seen this kind of roud staff.The product what your are selling in the marke are realy pathetic and your service too. Please some higher authorities help me to take any serious action against that guy who think that he is the chairman of the Esbada company. Please rever me on this ID: [protected]@rediffmail.com

i purchase esbeda cream colour bag of 3000/ from karolbagh delhi outlet. IN my 1st use its handle comes out.after 3 times use its fraud leather( which is actually rexin) comes out.what a mess...

i recently bought an Esbeda bag from Oberoi mall .just started using it. The bag has a metal tag with ESBEDA embossed on it. No complaints as yet..this is my first esbeda bag ...hope i dont regret !!!

I purchased Red color bag 1200/ from ESBEDA store at MG Road, Pune and after some time the leather started peeling off and the bag is utterly useless now. Don't have option to attached pictures otherwise i would have loved to do that.

Can anybody help me having mail id of authorities of ESBEDA.

i also purchased a bag frm ESBEDA 4 Rs. 1500f from inorbit mall vashi n d lock got out within few days only n 4 servicing dey charged me 250 bucks n dat 2 dey did'nt repaired up d zip of my bag...

i agree with lalit jain above...esbeda is no international brand. They get stuff from china with their labels et al...at a very very cheap price. None of it is leather, its all made of PU (plastic material)...the bags are not worth the money...might as well buy similar stuff at cheaper rates in dharavi or bandra etc.
