[Resolved]  Fly Mobile Ds 500 — No Spare availablity

Dear Sir,

I bought a new FLY mobile DS 500 model 15 days back for Rs.9000.00 i lost the USB/Charger cable, when i contacted the dealer Univercell, Chennai they replied that they dont have spares, they diverted me to their service center M/s Accel Frontline, Greams Road, Chennai. they replied very coolly that they dont have spares but they do only service, then i check with www.flymobiles.in it shows some 4 dealer in chennai address without phone number, then i visited those places across chennai city all of them speak that they were not related to fly mobile and they stopped dealing with fly mobile. When i spoke again with the Univercell Palavakkam branch, one gentleman Mr.Abdullah, CCO said the lost was becoz of my irresponsible and no spare cable is available. This is wat the story going on, even though i am ready to pay the charges the spare was not available in the market, since it was a new/unreputed brand the local / duplicate make was not also available. The value of Rs.9000.00 no body ready to realize even the manufacturer as well as the dealer, now i still searching of new cable by spending more and more on it. Kindly consider my case to get my hard earned money or the spare at the earliest. Is there any possiblity to get back me solotion. Please

UNIVERCELL — No spare available

I am also facing the same problem. U.S.B. cord is not available in the market. Moreover, the battary of DS-500 lasts for a very short period. I have to re-charge the phone after every 6 hrs in spite of the fact that my phone remains idle for most of the time. I have decided not to recommend to my friends to go for DS-500.
yes, battery backup is a problem...phone is good, if battery backup of nokia=2 days, this 1 = 1day/1.2day

i have price this mobile 20day ago but touch screen is not working and no proper support like cust care number and no proper response from the customer care centers

i also want a mobile charger cum usb cable for fly ds500 but it is unavailable in the whole market it may be a big problem because all our contacts n important meassages are in the mobile
A faulty Fly DS500 mobile Sold at INDIA(kolkata-sodepur).
I bought Fly DS500 on 14th of february, 2008 from the Mobilestores name Kanan's in HB Town Sodepur, the handset has several issues... I went to the store and ceservice ntre(Dunlop-kolkata) many times explain them the isssue.IMEI no-[protected]. from purchase i cant use my mobile properly, it is staying long time in service centre than me.
DETAILS OF ISSUES WITH FLY DS500
1.Signal problem (The call gets disconnected)
2.hang&screen white and call disconnection during talking.
3.memory card not supported properly.
4.sometime memory card support but aftersometime it does not support.
5.speaker problem.
6.touchscreen problem.
7.prblem in data transfer with pc.
8.transferring problem of video file via bluetooth

During my third job sheet they(SUKH SAGAR TELECOM SERVICES, DUNLOP-KOLKATA, Tag no-asp/sukh sagar/joramandir)told me that they will replace my handset if they will unable to repair within seven days.after seven day Icontact &they tell me my set is ready.But by going there i saw the problem remain same.Then(17/12/09) they give me the phone number of Pranath babu(fly chief engineer kolkata phone [protected]).he tell me he will check the set in dunlop service centre on 21/12/09 &after the date they will replace my set with new one.but till date i am not getting any set.service centre tell me on24/12/09 that pranath babu cant come there&i contineously try to contact with him but he does not respond.And service centre now tell me different in different time.I am a lecturer of college.I face many problem for my mobile.And the students laugh at me for why i bought fly handset.I cant understand why they harras me.till date they does not replace my set.please take nessary step so that i can get replaced good set because problem of this set comming agin &again within few days.thanking you.

My fly SL600 had its display cracked. Accel frontline quotes a price of Rs.1500/= for spare display plus service charges. This Rs. 1500/= is exorbitant when you consider other phones like Nokia, cost just Rs.400-500 max. I bought it thinking it had all features and a reasonable price 2 years ago but already I have spent Rs.800/= repairing it, Now again I dont want to spend another Rs.1500/= plus for replacing display. Instead is it better to throw this fly phone and go in for a new mobile from Nokia etc. Any one can suggest a way to get the fly spares online at cheaper rates than Accel Frontline Monopolist.

Fly Mobile DS 500 — Not Responding

I am Anjum Ahmed, PA to Director, ILI, Society of Supreme Court of India, New Delhi bought a Fly Set DS500 from Hotspot, 19, Netaji Subhash Marg, Darya Ganj, New Delhi-02 vide receipt no. 5941 Book no. 119 on 17.09.2009. On 05.03.2010, I kept this set in my pocket during evening prayer, as usual but when I kept out from my pocket I was shocked to see that the screen of my set was broken although the set was not fell down. Then I contacted the various service centre of Fly in Delhi but everyone is saying that they have no service centre. Then I am calling at[protected] today i.e. on 06.03.2010 but this number is too busy and I am failed to contact them even after one hour. Now I am requesting to all the customer / consumer / reader to please stop yourself to buy this set as this company failed to satisfy the customer and please go through the services of the other companies too before buying any set.

I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with this

i have purchased fly ds500 mobile @ of rs. 8400/- in big bazar . At that time the sales man give me service warrenty and insurange & assurannce of the same piece. But after some days the mobile give lot of problems that network problem, memory card proble, hang problem and data lost proble within one week.so i am suggesting to all peoples that do not bye any fly mobile.

Hello Sir, i bought a Moblie on May 21st 2010 in Nagapattinam Univercell Branch. My mobile model is Nokia 5233 but i didnt check it. after 15 days i would like to hear a song via Headset at that time Headset not working. i go to Univercell branch in next day. but that staff told me "This is not N 5233 Headset" i told him i bought mobile you give me this headset. but he does not take response. am totally upset. after hear the song via Headset then he jump the words. He cheating me already he change the Headset in mobile box.

Totally its Branch is Cheating. I hate Univercell. He is careless. He didnt give me Proper result
Totally waste hereafter i will never buy cell in univercell. Final Good bye Univercell.
I have purchased Fly DS 500 mobile in Big bazaar, pune, Kalyani Nagar, @ of Rs 8500/-. they are giving manual bill. but after some days the mobile give lot of problems like hanging, touch screen problem with in three months. that Fly servcing centre persons told this mobile warranty is expired because that big bazar sold out of waranty mobiles. Fly servicing centre persons are not giving proper reply. still 4months my mobile is in Fly servicing centre. So i am suggesting to all peoples do not buy any fly mobile.

We also faced the same like Battery problem when warranty period. Service center(Nungambakkam, Chennai) persons simply replaced the another battery and shown phone is working normal, So phone is not a problem, only battery problem.Requested them for replacing party with pay.I am not getting battery more than 2.5month.Warranty period gone.They replied that you purchase the battery from out side market.Still I am searching Tamilnadu& Andrapradesh.Not getting.I heard about Fly company is good.But why this kind of problem is coming.So many customers like me are suffering.Who is giving the solution for the problem(Fly DS500).
