[Resolved]  GLOBAL DIRECT — misrepresentation, cheating done by executive and supported by manager

I have a vodafone no [protected], which is in existence since past atleast 1.5 yrs. Now a representative from Global Direct Named "Mahesh" under the manager "Niranjan Pai" had come to my residence around 10th March 2009 offering some scheme from Vodafone for my existing no [protected]. He explained as follows:

1. For my no [protected], I would be put under corporate scheme in which, for rental of Rs.299, I would get 400 minutes free talktime to any network, plus 350 FREE SMS plus 20p/pm to any two vodafone nos beyond 400 mins and 50p/pm flat beyond 400 mins.

2. for availing this plan, I had to take a new sim card which would cost me Rs.299. Again this amount which i was paying will get refunded in first 6 bills as discount of Rs.50 per month.

I took the scheme for the old no [protected] and took two new sim cards bearing nos [protected] and [protected]. Sim cards got activated, but I did not get anything of the above which was committed and on follow up I was told that everything will get activated from 2nd billing cycle which again did not happen. Now when I am calling up on vodafone care no, the representatives are telling that i wont get anything as mentioned above and they ask me to contact the representative who committed all this.


To my great surprise, its been more than 3 months now from 12th march and Mr. Mahesh along with his manager Mr. Niranjan Pai are never available to solve any kind of queries and I am just calling up from one number to the other.

Now who would help me solve this problem cause Mr.Niranjan told that he will talk to Mahesh and get back which never happened till date.

All I can say is this a complete cheating exercise done and now Mahesh is washing his hands off by saying that since the new SIM card is not in use, your plan on [protected] will not start. Also he is saying that he had never commited SMS Promo in the rental of Rs.299 and Mr.Pai says that his executive will never lie. And if thats the case I guess he doesnt want to get a solution to this.
