HDFC Bank — Harrasment by debt collecters

Dear Sir,

I hold a gold master card from HDFC, I am repenting for doing business with a worst bank like this, I am paying the minimum amount due but still they call me and threaten me and my family.

My dad is an exservice men and a senior citizen who stays in my native mulky. These callers have called him asking about my whereabouts, when he told them that he is in bangalore they threatened him saying that he is trying to immetatite like my father.

They cannot even make out the difference between a 65 year old senior citizen and 35 year old son.

My family is disturbed and thinking of going to the police. I have just had problems in my work place because they call twenty times to my workplace also.

I have decided to take them on legally and go for a settelmet as i have problems with my job.

Today they called my office and gave me this number [protected] and told that it is from the legal department and i have to call them, They have threatened my office collegues saying that we want to come and thrash him.

They are using vulgar language while speaking to me.

I want to take action against them please advice.

I have silver international card from HDFC, I am repenting for doing business with a worst bank like this, I am paying the minimum amount due but still they call me and threaten me and my family.
I have the no. of Lucknow agencies[protected] from their me/my father regualarly getting calls.
Lady callers alway talk with vulgar language with me and my father no.'s.
I want to know the how they should talk with the customer like this.........
They don't have the knowledge how to treat with a customer.
As I was on official tour from a month back, and recently just join the office............
thats why i couldn't submit my minimum due amount only Rs. 800 eight hundread.
Can u revert me that for just simple amount, they are treating us like this...........
I am going to take legel action against them .................

Please include the id TTU[protected] in the subject line of your email. As soon as receive this information, a bank representative shall contact you.

I am also one of the 1000s facing the same problem...


HDFC cheap staff, got hold of my mothers number, and called her and started
abusing... leads to disclosure of the personal information of the customer to third party. (punishable offence).

Not listening, and calling again and again ... leading to Harrasment... Punishable offence.

Invading personal space of an individual ... Punishable offence.

Giving threats ... Punishable offence..



HDFC Bank can get into big trouble if everyone unites.

there should be some action taken against these improfessional agents.
We can, Everyone needs to unite and get them to pay heavy compensation.

Please post to as many forums as possible, and get in touch with each other.
I am one of the victim too. My credit limit was reduced uninformed and I kept using the card having this thing in mind that I have a greater credit limit. Later bank started putting overpayment, overdue charges. I registerd a complaint, compliant still stands and they kept accruing the charges.

I mailed this issue to these hdfc email id's "HDFC Bank Credit Cards Support" <customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <countryhead.[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, <[protected]@hdfcbank.com>, plus the local contacts of HDFC collection department in Pune.
