Hi All,

I was using HDFC Bank Credit card from 2004, but from past few months i am unable to pay my dues, on Sep 2009 Bank offered me a settlemet for RS 20,000/- under eight equal installments out of which i paid Rs 10,000 ( Approx ) , I paid some months and missed some of the installments, Now my savings account is on HOLD. and bank say that my settlement has been cancelled.

Till date its been only 7 months, now I am ready to pay the balance amount of settlement in one shot. which is well with in the stipulated time of 8 months.

Can some one help if my point is valid OR how to proceed with this.

    what to do ,after the full and final settlement payment bank keep on calling for payment,and say that the letter that given was null/void if they ask again to go for the settlement,what does that mean we have to still pay them

    They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

    HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

    That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
    They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

    They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

    *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
    *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
    *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
    *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
    *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
    * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
    *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
    *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
    *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

    Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

      Respected Sir,

      My name is Jayakumar, and I work as Manager ( Mech & Elect) with a MNC company in Chennai

      Few days ago (Feb 15, 2010), I was informed about the preapproved car loan from HDFC bank ,Hence I requested for a car loan from HDFC
      Bank.

      We were asked to produce every possible document that can prove our
      existence on Mother Earth - For pre approved loan ,Xerox of Gas card,
      driving license, pan card details, Passport Copy.
      I have applied for new car loan on[protected] to HDFC bank, Kindly read the process I have passed through-:

      Day-1----15/02/2010: I logged in HDFC web site for request of car loan ,after that I was called by Ms Sudha from customer care and she told me that a representative will come for document collection in the Evening hours .

      Day-2----16/02/2010: The representative Mr Arul Came in evening I gave him all the documents he had asked.

      Day-3----17/02/2010- Nothing Happened.

      Day-4----18/02/2010- Telephonic verification was done in my office address.

      Day[protected]/02/2010-Telephonic verification was done in my permanent address.

      Day[protected]/02/2010- Nothing Happened.

      Day-7----21/02/2010- Bank Holiday

      Day-8----22/02/2010- . Mr Arul informed that SMS will be sent after approval from Chennai Office .


      Day-9----23/02/2010—Nothing Happened, I got his Manager ( Mr Raju Kumar) mobile Number and checked the status, he informed me i will call back ,But he never calls

      Day-10---24/02/2010-- Nothing Happened.


      Day-11--25/02/2010-- Nothing Happened. Mr Raju Kumar informed that my pre approved loan is rejected and, I have to apply by conventional method, He asked form 16, salary slip, and in the evening he informed that we will approve your case by making verification in your office. Mean time i contacted customer service and enquired what is the problem in getting delayed they gave Reference No TF[protected] for my complaint and told your query will be sorted with seven working days, After that nothing Happened.

      Day-12--26/02/2010—Verification was done in my office address, Verification person came to my office took photographs of our office site checked my identity.

      Day-13--27/02/2010- Nothing Happened.( Holiday)

      Day-14--28/02/2010-Nothing Happened. ( Holiday)

      Day-15--01/03/2010-I called Mr Raju Kumar in the morning an informed that your loan is not approved, He told all stories for not approval of my loan, I informed him that I have invested in your Bank Products . Then he told me send me to send the particulars by mail and it was mailed to him.
      He informed me that I am in busy schedule due to month end and year end closing accounts, so you contact me after 2 days

      Day-16--02/03/2010-Nothing Happened.

      Day-17—03/03/2010-Nothing Happened.

      Day -18- 04/03/2010- I called him about 11.30 am he informed that I will tell about the exact status around 2 pm ,( Moreover he told me that I am on leave once I reach office I will inform you) ,I called him several times he was least bothered to attend my call

      Day -19- 05/03/2010: He informed( around 8 am) that I will give exact status by morning hours. Around 11.30 am he concluded finally that loan is not sanctioned. After wasting my precious time and money for making phone calls

      I have read your "Fair Practice Code for Lending" and your bank violated the same many times in last weeks. They did not provide me receipt of loan application No and also did not communicate why my loan was rejected.

      My association with the bank is from Oct 2007 onwards, I am totally fed up and frustrated. I had an impression that HDFC bank falls in the category of quality service provider, I interacted with the bank for the first time and Iam
      Shocked to see the state of affairs
      I doubt people understand in Reality as to what customer service means in actuality.

      I am classic customer, and I have invested in HDFC products for about
      3 lakhs, Iam planning, whether to have or withdraw the relationship with such Bankers.

      Bankers have the right to reject the loan , but not taking so much time, But
      Everytime Iam getting calls/mails informing that you are eligible for pre approved, car loan/personal loan etc .........
      Why the bank is advertising/displaying 72 hours loan approval

      DO NOT TAKE CUSTOMER AS GRANTED

      THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE INVESTED IN HDFC



      Kindly address my complaint as soon as possible and revert with the reason for delay.

      My name is J. jeyanand, i have applied fora a car loan in HDFC through your representative MR. Anand ([protected] mobile number) about one week ago. I have received an SMS that my loan is approved and the approval number is 17085443. But my fund is not yet released. I am a valuable customer in HDFC annanagar branch. If you treat me in such an irresponsible manner my actions towards HDFC will be very severe.

        Subject : HDFC- SLIC Cancellation-POLICY NO : 13388859

        I had raised a Complaint for the Cancellation dated 30 th Jan 2010 of the HDFC Standard Life Insurance policy -POLICY NO : 13388859 and the Complaint No is IC2238871. I had given a written Complaint for Cancellation well with in the Free Look Period as i recieved the Documents on 24 th Jan 2010 and returned the Documents on 30th Jan 2010 to the HDFC Bank- Vijayanagar Branch Manager.They assured me about the refund of the Amount with in a week. Its been more than more than a month now. The Concerned Bank people are intentionally delaying it and have been very negligent. I am extremely unhappy with the Customer Service.

        Kindly revert back to us at the earliest.

          Dear Sir

          My credit Card was charged with out my authorization for Rs.18780.06 in November 2008. When I received my statement I registered a complaint at HDFC bank that I haven't given any authorization to charge my card for the said amount. I also got a letter from the hotel mentioning that they have wrongly charged my card. I forwarded the letter from the hotel to the bank. I paid all the dues except the Rs.18780.06 & the interest due on that.

          Later on I my self investigated and found out that, They where supposed to charge Ms. Anita Gurnani this amount. Later own in March 2009, they charged anita gurnani the same amount.

          The bank kept own asking the money. Now the HDFC has blocked my credit card. Now the Westin Resort has paid back the money of Rs.18780.06 to HDFC Bank.

          HDFC is again asking me for more money for the Interest.

          I would really appreciate if you let me know how I could fight against the HDFC bank & Westin Resort and get my credit card back in good position.

            I was holding a Credit Card of HDFC Bank, the details are as under:

            I requested your bank executives to settle my credit card amount due to unable to pay my outstanding card amount from Aug'09 onwards, because I paid amount what I used in HDFC credit card and I didn't getting account statements from Aug ‘09 onwards. What ever outstanding telling on phone that amount wrongly charged to my account. Number of times speaks to different agents, executives and managers in this regard. But nobody responded.

            I would like to state that despite my constant reminders to HDFC bank and assurance from your executive Krishna that he will be the sole point of contact regarding my settlement, this has not happened and I am being constantly harassed by the bank from different executives (Sushma, Padmasri and Rupa) who in the month of Feb'10 had sent agents 4 times to my house and harassed my wife and mother (heart patient) used unparlament words and very dirty language on the phone.

            Sir, I request you to please close the card immediately and settle my credit card amount immediately.

            Please do the needful & necessary action at the earliest in this regards.

            Dear Sir,

            I was holding a Credit Card of HDFC Bank, the details are as under:

            The settlement letter of six instalments of Rs.24, 500.00 was issued by HDFC Bank on this card but I did not received the original letter as of my repeated reminder to the bank executives ( Rajouri Garden Branch) and also called to customer care regarding this matter. After that I got a photocopy of the same which was not very clear. Due to some financial crisis as my dad is having cancer, I made full payment to the bank in twelve instalments rather than six instalments as per the telephonic instructions and confirmation of the bank executive (Rajouri Garden branch). The tele caller told me that you can pay your settlement amount in more instalments and it will deduct in your total amount. At the time of last instalment, I asked the HDFC Bank executive to get me the full and final receipt and NOC and can collect the payment. But she told me that she can’t give me receipt for full and final payment, but all of your dues is been cleared and you will receive the NOC by courier. On good faith I made the payment, but even after that again and again I am receiving calls in my office that your amount is due and misbehave on phone by using vulgar language. When I called to customer care and ask them to issue me NOC then they said that your earlier settlement has cancelled and you have to re-settle the amount, which was shocking to me.

            You can check my account summary regarding dues.

            Now, I have received a letter on dated 8th June 2009 from some advocate regarding payment of Rs.44, 978.00. I am really very very disturbed by all this.

            I am requesting you to please took into this matter and close this chapter at the earliest as all the dues is been cleared from my side. Please acknowledge receipt of this letter. My email id is [protected]@yahoo.com.

            Dont believe on the words of HDFC you cannot expect any help from them, check the internet for reputation of HDFC Credit cards and harassment on the customers, even HDFC Grevience redressal also will not help you.

              Sir/Madam,

              This is my first reminder against my mailed did on 12.2.2010. Matter is as under:

              Please refer to clause 9 (3) (a) of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.

              This complaint against your housing loan branch at Sector-18, Noida. I mailed that branch so many times but action on their part is NIL.

              I am in Central Govt. Service and working as Sr. Auditor in iCISA (An International Traning Centre of Comptroller & Auditor General of India), A-52, Sector-62, Noida (UP) 201307. I had applied for Home loan of Rs. 14 lakh in HDFC branch Sector-18, Noida for property at Raj Nagar Extention, NH-58, Gzb. UP and I faced such unexpected problems as under:

              i) Applied for home loan of Rs. 14 lakh (Property cost Rs. 15.06 lakh on CLP excluding Reigistry cost) on DUAL RATE basis in the first week of December 2009. Mr. Dhiraj (employer-Mobile No. [protected]) had informed me that HDFC can provide me only Rs. 12.80 lakh, I made myself agree on his offer inspite of short of money.

              ii) The HDFC vide their File No.[protected]/HUM dated 22.12.2009 has informed that loan amount of Rs. 12.80 lakh has sanctioned to me with interest rate 8.75% on floating rates and asked to submit such relevant papers to Mr. Joshi for disbursement of loan. (This sanctioned letter was provided to me through mail, on my request made on 30.12.2009)

              iii) I disagreed on above proposal of loan on floating rates. On 12.1.2010 I mailed to HDFC (Mail address: urhomeguide.[protected]@hdfc.com), request them to rectify the interest rate as 8.25 % on Dual Rate basis as applied me in my loan application.

              iv) On my request the HDFC has issued to me a another Home Loan sactioned letter vide their File No.[protected]/HUM dated 25.1.2010 of Rs.11.02 lakh instead of Rs. 12.80 lakh on Dual Rate Home Loan basis.

              v) I found my self totally disagree on above offer. On 29.1.2010, I mailed to Mr. Joshi that I don't want loan from HDFC and request him to return my processing fee of Rs.7170/- which was taken by them in first week of December 2009 against the loan amount of Rs. 12.80 Lakh (.5% of loan amount + 10.30 % service tax) and all original papers of my property.

              Till today, I have paid Rs. 51,000 + 1,43,580= Rs. 1,94,580/- to Carol Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd vide their receipt No. RH03516 dated 30.11.2009 and RH03565 dated 14.12.2009 respectively towards purchase of flat No. F-562, Tower No. 15 in River Heights at Raj Nagar, Gzb. UP. These days I found myself nowhere due to services of your branch at Sector-18, Noida.

              I am submitting my humble request to you to make such arragement for return of my processing fee of Rs. 7170/- and compensation of Rs. 1 lakh from the HDFC Bank and all original papers of my property that are kept with your branch at secter-18, Noida because now I have to pay huge interest to builder due to delay in payment.

                Before allotment of the Credit Card, HDFC made so many calls and visited my house also. I have not approached anybody of providing me CC, but HDFC sales agents themselves entered my office and started giving false promises, (No surcharge on petrol filling etc, but really they charged me with surcharge;) On equiry with Customer Care, they advised to cancel the said card by cutting the said CC into Four pieces and drop the same into ICICI ATM centre.

                Having paid on the due date they have charged me with Rs 552 of ‘Late Fee’ which is not acceptable to me. Though I have informed the same, no action till now has been taken.

                HDFC CREDIT CARD is useless card. Requesting the Buyers to rethink before going for HDFC CC
                Hi,
                I am HDFC Credit card holder for long time.I have some problems.
                First I get statement rarely, .and second that statments which i recived is wrong also. I asked to their customer care staff but they are not listening.
                I have a HDFC Credit Card from past 2 years. I have been a prompt payer and never delayed my payments. I do not use my Card for any internet transaction due to fraudulant activities. But somehow, due to the Banks insecure website, there was a transaction of 5000+ amount done on my Card via internet. I contacted the Customer Care as soon as I saw this charge and they asked me to send a fax. I sent the Fax and they responded saying that they are investigating. However, all they did was gave my case to a collection agency who harrassed me to pay for something which I have never done. I told them many times about the dispute but they are so arrogant that they never listen to customers. One of the worst customer service. Then I wrote a letter directly to the Credit Card department and they responded saying that I have done the transaction. Please note that they did not provide any proof for the same. Any person can write on a letter pad and say that you have done something which do not actually prove that it is done by me. Finally they put a hold on my Savings account for the Credit Card charges. When I contacted there Credit Card divison asking for proof they just denied saying that they do not have any proof. One of the worst Customer service you can ever get.

                I would like bring to kind notice regarding the charges which has been charged twice in mine credit card statement .i had made an payment to cesc for electricity bills amounted to rupees 498.52 though I received the automated message from your end once . it was really shocking when I received mine statement that it has been charged twice.

                  Blocked my salary in my salary account against my credit card due. HDFC isseued me a credit card and they charged me huge interest rate. I paid minimum amount for long time but the due went on increasing and at a point I stopped usind and paying the amount to the bank. Now the bank blocked my salary account and their collection department says pay the outstanding or they will not release my salary. My complete famaly depends on my salary... PLS HELP

                    Sub: Application for complaints against employees of HDFC LIFE.

                    Respected sir/Madam,

                    My name is Mausumi Senapati, working in HDFC_SL_LTD, Bhubaneswar, Sahid Nagar Branch, as a recruitment consultant in channel development since 2009 to till now. My RC Code is: RCM[protected]. I have attended a lot of promotional contests which organized by this reputed Organization itself. I am really feel proud that I am a part of an ethical company and I am completely dedicated towards this organization. But I have some serious complaints against 2 employees of Bhubaneswar Branch. Mr. Niraj Satpathy (CD Channel), And Mrs. Prangya Paramita Pattnaik (CDM, Same Channel).

                    My complains are:

                    1. As I told you that I am working as a RC, and still now I am not getting my appointment letter. When I ask for it to Mr. Niraj Satpathy, he told me that “I will see”………… but still now no result.
                    2. I have recruit so many Financial Consultants since 2009, but from 6 months to till date I am not getting my incentives. When I asked about Mr. Niraj Satpathy, he demand me for another 3 FCs AND 3 BLs. But BL recruitment is not our duty it’s their duty.
                    3. I have attended a contest and fulfill all criteria of the contest. But still not getting my ACHIVEMENTS AND CERTIFICATES.
                    4. When I asked for my Certificate and my appointment Letter Mr. Niraj Satpathy (CD Channel), And Mrs. Prangya Paramita Pattnaik(CDM, Same Channel), They both of demand me for Rs.500 which is totally unethical.
                    5. When I told them to complain it to HEAD OFFICE then they both of warned me that “they will terminate me”.
                    6. Mrs. Prangya Paramita Pattnaik ALSO USE BAD LANGUAGE FOR THAT ISSUE.
                    All these problems are not only my all RCs have same. And its very shameless.


                    SO I KINDLY REQUEST YOU THAT PLEASE TAKE AN EFFECTIVE ACTION AGAINST THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IF NOT I WILL TAKE A STRONG ACTION AGAINST THEM.

                      I seek your assistance in taking up the matter pertaining to unfair levy of quarterly minimum balance charges (AQB) of Rs.16,500 by HDFC Bank over a period of six years!!. I had written to their Chairman & MD Shri Puri and was replied in negative on 16th March 2009. I understand that aggrieved party can approach the Banking Ombudsman appointed by Reserve Bank of India within one year i.e. by 15 March 2010 in this case.

                      I thought to seek your assistance in the matter a better option than going to the Banking Ombudsman considering the procedural hassle.

                      The facts of the case are as under:

                      Bank required either to maintain an average quarterly balance of Rs 5000/- in saving bank account or a fixed deposit of Rs 50000/-. In case either of the conditions is not met, charges Rs 750/- per quarter are applicable.

                      I had opened a SB a/c in 1998 with the erstwhile Times Bank, Noida which was later taken over by HDFC Bank. I was having a linked FD of more than Rs.84,000 in September 2002, when I had issued a cheque of Rs.50,000 which took the FD balance below Rs.50,000 after exhausting the SB a/c balance. Since then there was no transaction in the account, barring charges debited from time to time for non maintenance of Minimum Average. These charges were being recovered on quarterly basis until December 2008 by transferring the required balance from the linked FD a/c to SB a/c resulting in reduction in the linked FD balance.

                      I was not getting bank statements and other communications from the bank (by snail mail) possibly due to change in address after my transfer from Noida to Mumbai. When I shifted back to Noida in October 2008, I got a letter advising levying of QAB charges for the period July-Sep 2008. After checking this with the branch, I came to know about the QAB requirement which possibly was stipulated by HDFC Bank after taking over Times Bank. This has resulted in a total debit of Rs.16,500 (for 3 quarters @ Rs.500/qtr and 23 quarters @ Rs.750/qtr) due to reduction in the linked FD balance below Rs.50,000 to about Rs.35,000 since 2002.

                      I think levying of QAB charges in this case is unfair on the following grounds:

                      o Bank always had recourse to the linked FD for ensuring that QAB balance in SB a/c remains Rs.5,000. This is in contrast to a normal FD wherein specific instruction from customer is required for premature withdrawal. This recourse to use linked FD funds was in fact used by bank to recover QAB charges.
                      o Linked FD balance was always more than Rs.30,000 during the period despite levying of QAB charges. This is more than 6 times the stipulated minimum QAB of Rs.5,000 in SB a/c.
                      o There was no customer transaction in SB a/c since 2002 and as per RBI guidelines a/c should have been treated as In-operative/ Dormant. Despite this, there were debits by the bank and even I was able to withdraw funds myself without re-activating the a/c status.

                      o Bank could have sent email to me about the a/c status (I find my email a/c recorded in bank records and regularly receive promotional emails).

                      o On advice of Bank staff (they said take all the money out and then nothing can be debited by the bank and a/c will be closed automatically) I had also withdrawn the money left in my a/c in January 2009. Soon after this I got a communication from the Bank that QAB charges have been levied for Oct-Dec 2008 quarter and a sum of about Rs.3 (balance remaining in the a/c after withdrawal) has been debited. This suggests that Bank’s recovery of QAB charges is limited only to funds available in the a/c. Thus, the QAB charges were recovered from my SB a/c only because I had a linked FD to my SB a/c.

                      Request your opinion and necessary assistance in taking up the matter.

                        There is no drop box for HDFC bank credit card payment in BPCL, Shantipath, Moti Bagh. This point provide facility for other banks - citi bank, icici bank, hsbc bank etc. but not HDFC. I think HDFC bank should give this facility to its customers also.

                        hfdc gold credit card — unauthorised transaction

                        I HAVE 3 MAJOR COMPLAINTS:-
                        1)i tried to pay Rs 850 through my HDFC gold card online for bpl mobile bill. and i had cleared the visa gateway but the transaction due to some reason does not show on the card.
                        2)also when i called regarding the same- i was told that -i have had a transaction billed on my card for Rs2474.86 on 25th sept'08 at 1:18pm. BUT I NEVER DID THAT.. also the call centre people did not tell what is that transaction for...
                        so its a complete mess..
                        3) also I have got a credit limit of just Rs40000. which i never wanted. because the person had commited me a limit of 2-3lacs. and then all of a sudden this 40k limit was just nonsense. and now for a credit limit increase they have asked me to submit some documents. but i dont have the time to do all that.

                        above all-
                        there is absolutely no one who wants to take a step ahead and get the problems sorted out.
                        i am very upset by the behavior of HDFC.

                        Credit Card - HDFC Bank — Unauthorised transaction

                        Hi

                        I am having a credit card of HDFC bank, during aug'08 i recd a message on my mobile that i have done a online transaction but as i had not done any transaction so immediately i blocked my card. After that when i received my statement there was some internet online transactions which were not done by me. I contacted customer care they asked me to fax the Charge Dispute Form, i faxed the same. Now after two months bank is saying that these transactions are done by me through Netsafe. But i have not done these transaction, how can i get these charges reversed on my card. Pls guide.

                        My self Pratik Khatri, i have a credit card from HDFC Bank and there is an issue going on from past 7 months reguarding the bill which is not yet settel down, i recived a call from your agent regarding payment as she told me that my outstandin amount after settelment is 30000, where as i told her i have talk with many o[censored]r agent and told them its was just a 20000 which i have used and i am going to pay that amount, then she told me as of now u can pay 5150 as your 1st installment, and she assured me that my settelement will be done at 20000, so i have paid that 5150 through cheque of BOB, then i recived a call after one and half month from bank and that agent told me that previous agent has given my false commitment and i have to pay 30000 as a settlement amount, i am not denying to pay the amount but what i am going to pay is 20000...
                        So please do needful for this and get me out of this frustrating agents calling me, as well as from this HDFC BANK...

                            Myself Deepak kumar tolani and my SB a/c is[protected] i took 30000 cash from hdfc bank. I paid instalment regularly but due to financial crisis i lost my job so i can't instalment regularly but when i manage amount i asked to credit card divission on this no .[protected] on this no Mr. Deep Mishra (state head) he told me that ur satelment amount is 24000 and when u paid this amount i send u sattelment letter next day so i paid 24000 rupee dated[protected] and Mr. deep mishra give me his mobile no for contacting. from 11 th jan i m calling regularly but they are not receinvng my call .
                            After some days i m getting notice from hdfc bank that ur due is 46000 so plz help me i take 30000 and total i paid 42000 ( instalment+ settelment amount)

                            They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

                            HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                            That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
                            They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

                            They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

                            *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
                            *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
                            *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
                            *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
                            *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
                            * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
                            *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
                            *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
                            *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

                            Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                              Bank has TRANSFERED my Money of 9804.55 Rs without my knowledge from my Account. if Bank had any dues from my side it has to clarified and legally it has to be sorted.but i had account that bank and deposited 10500 for some urgency, they took my Money.

                                Still after one month since we closed our account, we failed to get "the written confirmation letter" for the closure of our SBA nor did the HDFC BANK pay the remaining accrued interest upon our money remained with them in 2010.

                                Our grievance sent to HDFC BANK's manager Ms. Gayatri stand as follows.


                                17th February, 2010

                                Sub.: Account closed due to the hell of the harassment from Ms Gayatri but failed to get the closure letter and the balance accrued interest, still after three weeks- while RBI states a week period only to close SBA.

                                We closed our SBA on 29th Jan., 2010; due to the hell of the harassment we faced for so long from Ms. Gayatri Krishan Rao (Branch Manager: Churchgate Branch).

                                BUT still after three weeks, our account (SBA No.: [protected])is not yet closed.
                                So does it mean that you people are back to further harassment?

                                BRIEFS:

                                (1) We have closed our SBA ([protected]) on 29th January,2010 ie almost three weeks back.
                                (2) The closure form was handed over to Mr. Ajay of HDFC bank.
                                (3) We were promised that in 2/3 days time you would get the “closing letter” from the bank.
                                (4) Still after three weeks, your bank has failed to send us the needed intimation/letter informing us the closure of the above captioned SBA.
                                (5) WHY?
                                (6) We were asked for the reasons for such closure, whereas we have already mentioned verbally and in writing too about all these harassments; which have made us to close our so old account for ever.
                                (7) Refer the closure form. Sr. No.4. Reason code: 5.
                                (8) We were also categorically asked about the harassment we faced from Ms. Gayatri.
                                (9) And we had detailed out as to how this lady had kept on harassing us for so long just to close our “deceased daughter’s SBA”.
                                (10) Secondly we had also detailed out as to how this lady refused to correct the wrong/less interest calculated in our as much as 12 FD. And we suffered monetarily when HDFC paid less interest for all these 12 FD.
                                (11) The funniest part was that the top banks like HSBC & SCB (also CNBC TV reporter) have made the calculation and agreed that we were less paid, but this lady Gayatri was adamant enough to rectify the error. And she calls herself the branch manager.
                                (12) SO THIS IS YOUR HDFCB BANK, who does not even hesitate to do such daylight robbery in this way.

                                  Hi, if anyone has time to read.
                                  I was working with HDFC Bank, I am continously following for my F& F from last so many months, But my concern Manager {Anuj sharma A.S. M}has not time to give us, he had lot of time to take Business from our team, but no he has not have time to get their settlement done.
                                  I followed with HR, they said they have forwarded mail to concern person, dont know how many years he or she will take to do this.who knows who is this concern person .
                                  The manager tolad me, for settlement of[protected], why you getting worried, i want to ask i[censored] need to pay this much amount then u people wont get any employee's settlement done.

                                  How can i get my PF when my F& F is still pending.

                                  hdfc bank calls it self as no one private sector bank but do they really know whats going on in the branches?
                                  Silvassa branch is the one branch where employees are harassed like anything.bank officers Surekha and Suresh are harrasing other employees and making their life hell..and that also in front we customers
                                  these people behave like they r the owners of the bank..thr's one more affair going on in the branch it self about which a common customer like me can also easily know.

                                      Submitted Third-party transfer (TPT) request with filled application to HDFC Sarjapur Branch on 10th Feb 2010. Branch people got to know that I was from Oracle and asked me about free Demat account but I said No for it. Later, my application was verified and I was said that TPT will be activated in 7 working days. I was waiting for activation and gave call to Customer care on 24th of Feb 2010. Customer care said they will take complaint against Branch and update me on status. Complaint no. is BAN058458. I did not get update from Branch later. I called on 25th again because o[censored]rgency to get TPT activated for personal medical reasons. However, Complaint Department said they still did not get any revert from Branch.

                                      I called again on 27th of Feb (today). Complaint department lady I spoke said that complaint department has got update from Branch on 25th of Feb 2010 saying that my Oracle Employee ID was not provided in TPT application and hence was rejected.

                                      Problems faced:
                                      1. I was promised by complaint department that I will be updated when they get revert from Bank on status of my TPT. They got update on 25th but I did not get a call back. They also lie now that they called me on 25th and I did not take the call. I'm holding a serious Business responsibility at Oracle and I dont miss my calls. Also the TPT is my highest priority. Additionally Complaint department had been sending sms about complaint and details but did not get any sms from complaint department on 25th.
                                      2. ***More severe issue is that a simple aspect of employee id not filled in my TPT application. Branch people can call me and ask my employee id for verification needs if any they have. Also Helpdesk in Oracle office is not accepting TPT applications. ******TPT application form is not having a field to fill information on my employee id. When I went to branch for submitting application, branch should have asked me to fill the employee id during my initial submission itself. But instead, it took **17 days, 10th when I submitted my initial application and until 27th feb 2010, to update about missing employee id in my TPT application. Now I'm asked to resubmit TPT application but unfortunately HDFC Sarjapur Branch or any other Bangalore branches still dont know that Oracle or other such Company employees need to provide employee id in their TPT application and it takes 17 days or even more than that to update a Corporate employee. Don't know if this kind of failure in Bank operation is due to any Bank Management decisions on Corporate employees. Also is n't it strange that employee id not specified and not asked to be specified in application causes a individual to re-submit TPT application again?
                                      3. This complaint has been noted by a Manager for Customer Care as promised to me during the Escalation call I had. The complaint department lady I spoke to purposefully disconnected my call and I find this most strange occurrence one could experience for a serious problem experienced.

                                      Dear HDFC Bank, please please understand the severity of issue and beg you to fix this asap. This is a desperately urgent problem.

                                        Dear Chairperson, I am Rehan Danish Khan, employee number 71404. I have been serving with HDFC Bank in New Delhi since Sep 09. I was given appointment letter by the bank on 16 Oct 09, and therafter transferred from parent branch to another branch within three months. My salary has not been initiated till date and the bank is asking me to resign forthwith. Please help.
