[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Processing fee did not refund
I had applied for home loan from HDFC bank ltd. Before applying for the home loan the agent (Supriyo Dasgupta) told me that it will take maximum 21 business days to process my files. For which they charged me approximately 11432/-. I had been constantly following up with the agent about the progress of my files. But they were saying it is under process for 3 months. And finally i got one notice from my seller if i wont pay his money then the deal will be cancelled. I called the bank regarding the same. why this is taking so much times. Whatever and whenever they asked me additional documents i gave them immediately. But due to their casual ignorance i could not get the home loan till the last day. But they deducted my processing fee.
Moreover looking into my financial income they told that i am eligible for 30 lacs. But after somedays they told me due to some technical issue they can give 28.47 lacs. AGain after some days they told they can give me 27.94 lacs. I am just surprised what a financial institute which is not sure what they are telling to customer.
When i contacted his manager Mr. Ripu Chopra they were just saying there was a problem with builder. But my question is if there was any problem then why they did not tell me for which i had been constantly calling them. And it was really frustrating when they don't even pick up my phone calls. giving absurd reasons.
So i gave email to Nikita.S @hdfc.com to refund my processing fee. She told it will be sent to my communication address. But never mentioned WHEN andWHICH communication address. It has been long time and she does not respond to my email after giving 2 reminder.
Now i want my processing fee back immediatley
