[Resolved]  Hindustan Times — Subscription Money taken but Subscription coupons not supplied

I am Chandur sawlani ([protected]), Also I had not received the coupons for the second year, My Vendor Mr.Manish ([protected]) at Thane east told me he is going to discontinue the paper. If he not receive the coupons for second year.

i havnt received the renewal coupons for the year 2009 dispite followup . i got coupons for the year 2008 under scheme of 195/- .

Same is also being faced by me too.
My paperwala stopped giving me MetroNow and telling that we are not getting from backside.
Rs. 60 was paid to him as per subscription requirement.
Pl do the needful to resume the delivery of MetroNow paper.

I am also facing a similar issue with HT. Have not received the booklet for year 2 and there seems to be no way to reach those guys. I would like to know if any action can be taken against HT.

I am irritated with the attitude taken by HT . I lost hope in getting my 2nd Booklet coupons .

I have not received COUPEN BOOK FOR 2nd year despite of several reminder to yor bbay office and vendor.
My original Receipt No. is R 125890 (renewal @ 350 offer)
I am not recieving news paper since April 2008.
Its shocking the way I get reply from HINDUSTAN TIMES office.
Even after NINE months I am just trying to contact HINDUSATaN TIMES.

Of the two years subscribed we had received coupons only for first twelve months. Hindustan times was supposed to give the remaining 12 months coupon at end of first year term. But Hindustan times did not give the coupon.Till date we have not received the coupons .So I request the respected body to kindly interven and help me get a favourable compensation from Hindustan times.

i have been trying to renew my hindustan times subscription but sadly there are no takers for my money..he he he .

same case is with me.we are not getting the issues of metro now right now.this matter must be taken to consumer court under copra.

We will not take any scheme in future since it is the breach of our trust which we had on HT.

I am facing the same problem. The delivery of news paper has been stopped from 1st srept, 2008. I have filed a case in the consumer court.

hindustantimes — non receipt of renewal coupons

I HAD SUBSCRIBED FOR 2 YEARS OF HINDUSTANTIMES @195 IN 2007.THE FIRST YEAR COUPONS ARE OVER ABD I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING UP WITH THEM SINCE DECEMBER 2008
AND TILL DATE THERE HAS BEEN NO RESPONSE FROM THEM.THEY MAINTAIN COMPLETE
SILENCE, IT SHOWS THAT THHEY ARE TAKING US FOR A RIDE.WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

I had subscribed for HT newspapers almost a year back. Its 07th March 2009 and I have'nt received the coupon booklet yet. Some lady from the HT service center called up to check if I have received the booklet or not, I did inform her about not receiving the same. To which I was assured that the same would reach me within 15 days time. No body bothered to follow up after that.

You guys need to follow up with your customers, but its been the other way round. I spoke to Mario from HT contact center around 2 weeks back. I spoke to Prasanna today, who on confirmation with his manager (Ms.Sandhya Venugopal) he said I would receive the booklet within next 10 days. I just hope that this time I receive the booklet.

Such kind of service was not expected from HT

Hindustan Times — STOPPED DELIVERY

Sirs,

I had given a cheque for Rs.195/ on 8th Sept. 2007, for a 2 year subscription scheme. Vendor has stopped delivering the newspaper copies after a year.

Payment was made vide Cheque No.701258 dated 8th Sept. 2007 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank for Rs.195/ favouring HT Media Ltd.

I would like to lodge a complain against the vendor because :

1) He used to deliver the paper for a year, maybe, 5 times a week.

2) he has stopped delivering the paper after one year whereas the money paid was for 2 years.

I filed a case against HT and I have own the case. The court has directed HT to pay compensession for harassment.

I paid Rs 199 for 2year subscription, after one year delivery of paper has been stopped. Corresponding vendor has told that it would take time to come the coupons for next year. but how long it would take? Approximately for one month i am not getting newspaper. has hindustan times taken the responsibility to stop the world from making any news so that their reader would not suffer? can you please provide me ph number where I can talk?

It is utterly disgusting to feel that I have been reading such a paper after going through the complaints about non-receipt of news paper even after paying the charges.
I have paid Rs.195/- through cheque but I have not been receiving any paper. Vendor says he has not received the coupons. The staff of the news paper are so thick skinned that they do not react inspite of many calls.
