[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever PureIT Water Purifier — very poor customer service

im very disappointed with the customer service of pureit water purifier. its been a week now that we have been regularly asking the service centre to change the battery.. even after repeatedly going to the service centre (80ft road, mahesh nagar, jaipur, Rajasthan) personally there has been no response... the people there always give unrelevant excuses and have been making us suffer for the past 1 week. if still there is no response from their side we will be forced to take another purifier of a better company with better service and we would ask our known ones not to buy this product. hopig there wold an action taken soon against this... hope it doesnt go unnoticed.

Sir,

I am using pureit water purifier from last six months. I have requested to repalce the battery kit from the last fifteen days and also requested over phone several times. My request no is S08/DLI[protected] and Sl. no. is RPB[protected] which is installed at C-265, STREET NO. 4-A, WEST VINOD NAGAR, DELHI-110092. but till date nobody came to supply and replace the battery kit. I have also requested three months before to clean the apparatus but my request is attended after ten days when several times contacted over phone. Sir, Your water purifier is very good but your service for maintenance is so poor. Kindly look into this matter and send battery kit immediately.

Hindustan uni lever/water purifier — poor service

I am using water purifier of hindustan uni lever for 8 months.this product need battery replacement at regular interval(2-3 months in my case).At the time of buying this product it has been promised that the said replacement will be done within 48 hours of any customer asking to do so.in my case it is taking more than two weeks of time to replace the water purifier battery and that also after 2-3 reminders.It has happened second time with me.My customer Id no is [protected].

Pureit water purifier — VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We bought pureit water filter 3 years back. I also recommended my parents to buy and they also bought the filter. They were very prompt in delivering the product. But when we complained that there is fault in machine they didnt turn up. My father also call many times but there was no response they attended the complaint after one month only, that too after shouting at them saying that we will go to customer court. They don't show interest in attending the complaints. Even I have called customer care and gave them the complaint but still now there is no response. Being a good organisation we expected more form you. But you very much disappointed us. We didn't expect this poor service from you. Please do take action, otherwise we will take this issue to the customer court. Expecting favourable reply.

Hindustan Unilever — Poor Service for water purifier

I am complaing almost from 15 days for battery replacement. As per company promise they will replace battery within three working days. I complained 12/march and today 29/march and nothing happen, i called company many time with only promise they will send there representative. but no action has taken.

so if anybody trying to buy pureit water purifier plz. think again. These peoples are sucking our blood plz don't ignore them. kick them off from ur home.

Hindustan Uniler/Pureit water purifier — No response to request for battery

i requested on 26-sep-09 for a new battery for my Pureit water purifier by calling pureit helpline [protected]. they gave a 72 hr time for delivery. after 3 weeks- there is no delivery inspite of several reminders from me. they call and tell me that the person is at the junction and he is on the way, so i have taken leave on many days to wait for this this. similar instance happened 3 months ago when i requested a micro-fibre mesh. this reached my home after a month of several reminders. i want to get a refund of my water purifier as i am not able to use it without battery. pls help address the complaint.

Unilever-Pureit water purifier — No response to request

I have been using Pureit water purifier since a year. In the past few months I have called Purelit helpline to request Battery / Micr-fibre mesh. On each of these occasions- i was assured of delivery within 2 days but inspite of several calls on a daily basis, i recieve it after a month of followup. they raise a new request every time i call and pretend that it is a new request. Their outlet is a km away from home but they say that they are unfamiliar with the area and could not find my house which is near the main road. I cannot use the product without the battery or the mesh.When i went to their outlet nearby they coul dnto give me the product as their accountant wa always away.
I am tired of being duped by Pureit and their promises. i want to retrun the purifier and get a refund. This is the third complaint I am making to consumer forum regarding this in the last 4 months. Kindly help solve the problem and ensure taht companies who promise support when they sell their products keep their word. thanks.

Hindustan Unilever Pureit water purifier — Requirement for BATTERY KIT

Dear Mr. Nitin Paranjpe,

This is regarding the high dissatisfaction caused by your company's service after lodging a complaint to change the filter of my Pure-it water purifier. The complaint has not been attended for the past 8 days. Even one of your executives came to attend on Sunday. But only half of the job is done. Now, the water purifier is completely non-functional. He removed the filter and did not come back to replace with a new one.

What's happening with your company.... Its really shocking. When I tried to call your customer care executive , he uses a sweet English word "I apologize". You guys are apologizing for the past 8 days, but no action has been taken since then. I receive only a series of SMS of getting your complaint corrected within the next 48 hours.

is this the way, you treat your customers. Do you take the responsibility of paying my medical bills, if I have a stomach upset due to your negligency???? Please reply and improve your services. Also, 737 consumer complaints in this portal itself says about the level of service you offer to the customers and how care you do for them...

i have purchased a pureit water purifier two month before but now it is not working properly then i restered a complaint for this on 18 june 2010 but there was no response from their side, then on 24 june i registered complaint again the complain no. is c[protected] but again nobody came from their side to replace it or repair it and after that on 30 june their sms came on my mobile that your pureit has been repaired but nobody came to repair after that again i registerd complaint third time on 24th june 2010 the complaint no. is c[protected] and still no response from their side

I had booked a Germkill Battery. The order number is S10/DLI[protected]. I was told the delivery would happen in 48 hours, as usual. When it was not delivered even after 72 hours, I called up again and lodged a complaint. The complaint No. is C[protected]dated 29 June). I also placed order for another one- vide order number S10/DLI[protected]dated 29 June 2010). So in all I've ordered for two. Till date not even one has been delivered. Subsequently I inquired about it thrice more and complained as many times. These complaint numbers are: C[protected], C[protected]. Surprisingly after one such conversation I got text message stating your complaint has been attended to and is being closed. It also asked for feedback to which I responded saying I am not satisfied. I don't know what "complaint has been addressed and attended to" mean, as the underlying point in that complaint is non-delivery of the Germkill Battery, which is still due. You may find all my correspondence against my mobile number [protected] in your system. I also wrote couple of emails to the email address of the customer care but nobody cared to respond. I am surprised at the attitude and level of service provided.

Unilever/pureit water purifier — Poor Servicing

Pureit servicing is very poor. I have purchased a pureit purifier some four months back. Now it seems I have purchased the headache. The service wing is so horrible that they could not fix the problem and insisted to make a complaint to the company head office. I am contacted the concerned and sent a complaint to the company also, but not received any reply till now. After going through the following article, I have left with no option.

Certain water purifiers like Hindustan Unilever’s Pureit are using TCCA generated chlorine which is not even approved by EPA for long term usage as a primary drinking water disinfectant to purify the water that we drink. EPA has permitted the usage of this chemical to purify water only during disaster relief situations. And while we are at it, we are exposing ourselves and the ones we love most to the risk of bladder and rectal cancers. And we are not alone; there are millions of Indians across the nation drinking such water without knowing the effects of its long term consumption.

Mr. Unilever, will you please clarify? If it is not, will you please look after to improve the services?

Pureit water purifier — Poor customer

On the 27th May, I raised a complaint c[protected] as the PureIT water purifier bought by me in Sept 2010 was leaking. I was informed on the next day a technician would attend to the call. The next day at 7:30am I was informed by the customer service rep that the leakage was probably as the filter and the candle needed to be replaced. The cost would be 285/- + 115/- rupees in addition to the charges of Rs. 50/- for the technician's visit. In the evening around 7pm I called for the 3rd time to remind customer service who assured me that someone would attend to my complaint before 8pm.

Today is the 30th. I reminded customer service again who said they had put in a note that my call would be attended to between 8-11 am. Yet no technician has come. I however received a call from [protected] in the morning asking for my address which I confirmed with him. He told me that someone would attend "before noon". At 3:30pm I again received a call from [protected] informing me that he had mistakenly gone to Thane and therefore could not find my residence. However on each of the calls made earlier to customer service they repeated my address which very clearly stated Khandeshwar. When I spoke to the person (Sagar) on [protected] in the morning again I repeated the address. How and why he went to Thane is beyond me.

The fact that he also told me that since there was no one available my call would not be attended to today.

This type of customer service is totally unacceptable.

I am not sure if my problem will be solved or not or if it will just save me a lot of trouble by throwing this water filter out and procuring one of the many options available in the market today which I am sure give better customer support.
