Hi Rohit,
My situaton is also same. I booked Jazz x in Dec 2011 by paying Rs. 1 lacs at Pinacle Honda Kolkata. The Ex- showroom Price at that time was Rs. 618000/-. The Sales executive Promise me delivery by feb end. I specifically asked him 'what if there is a price increase by that time'. The sales executive assured me that this is your final Price and any price increase would not be applicable on my booking. But the Honda guys are not believing to fulfil there Promises. First they not able to give delivery by Mar 2011 & finally in april 2nd week they called me that my delivery will be ready within a week & demanded Rs 31000/- more by giving the reason that Honda has increased Price due to increase in excise. When I told them that your sales executive told me at the time of booking that any price increase would not be applicable on your order they just refused to agree.
When I contacted Sales Manager he Just tell me that as per there policy price at the time of delivery would be applicable & if any commitment made by there executive, it is by mistake and he is not able to help me.
Since there are a lot of waiting for Honda Jazz they are not bothered if we cancelled our bookings.
But Surely this will affect Honda Goodwill in long run. Almost every one who booked Jazz in last 3-6 month is not happy with this price rise passed on them.
Honda People Please look in the matter & tight the screw of these dealers making false commitment.

Exact Same Case as yours. I booked my Honda jazz(Urban Titanium) car on the 03rd Sep and i havent received my car till date. I am told that i will be receieving the car this week but i have had to shell out 47000 extra. This includes the car charges + registration charges in MH that have increased in Maharshathra.
You have been surely misleaded when they said that the price of the vehicle would be the same as the booking time rather than that of the delivery time. The price of nay car needs to be be that of the delivery time since you register at that amount once the car is available.
I believe for cases like this Honda should also provide some compensation since they are trying to recover all the losses from tsunamis & earthquake from the end customer directly.
I am not sure how effective it will be but Let me know if we can go together and raise a complaint against Honda for the same.

Your long waiting period is seriously disturbing. But do not worry, you are not alone in the same boat.
I would say you have been framed when they stated that the price of the vehicle would be the same as the booking time rather than that of the delivery time. Dealers never provide cars in the price at the time of booking until and unless that particular model is being phased out or replaced/will be replaced in the market.
I have been waiting for my own Jazz for a long time now and I know very well that I would have to cough up extra money due to the budget changes in excise duty.
The things that you can bargain in this scenario are the accessories that comes with a price (such as sun film, chassis paint, floor mat, road side assistance, extended warranty, etc.).
If you have not spoken to Honda One2One, please do so repeatedly and make your voice heard. As far as interest on the booking amount is concerned, they will not budge an inch as it is not their money at stake.
Feel free to take legal actions.
