[Resolved]  Honda Jazz — Delay in delivery of car

I have booked my Jazz honda ( white colour ) on 28th august 2011 with Ring Road Honda-Sugoi Motors Pvt. Ltd. by paying advance of Rs. 50000 by cheque in the name of Rajkumar Jain,Karol Bagh,New Delhi and they have promised to deliver the car within 3 months time.My booking no. is J-H1350/INHO and i have got it financed through HDFC Bank.
Bt they have failed to deliver the car in stipualed time which i wished to gift to my daughter in her marriage in December.I am greatly disappointed with the service provided by the Honda
Looking to the goodwill & standing of Honda in their cars and services, I opted to get a Honda car, but I’m exceedingly disappointed and i wish to now cancel my booking and get my money back.

I have booked my Jazz honda in September with landmark honda by paying advance of rs 51000 by cheque.
They have failed to deliver the car in stipualed & promied 1 month.
Today they phone & suggested to get the car from the finance company as they are going to have delivery of the car earlier.
Is it so that the wating list for the finance company is diffrent from the customer who purchase without finance?
Company has failed to provide a waiting list & my e=wating no, how many car they are getting from Honda company every month? what is expected time for delivery ofmy car?

Please help me in getting answer from honda company.
Can I have a email id for the compaint directly to honda India

Honda has been going through some bad times in terms of Tsumani and Thailand floods. I also booked my Jazz in September first week. However, I am not too sure about a bank financed car versus a self financed car. Ideally there should not be a difference.

The good things about my dealer is they set the right expectations. They told me before hand itself that the delay might prolong till Jan-Feb 2012, and I am willing to wait.

Your dealer is hoodwinking you in telling that the new Jazz is getting delivered for customers who take bank finance. Please note that I am mentioning 'Dealer' and not 'Honda'. Any complaints should be directed towards the dealer itself.

However, you can also decide to take it up with Honda big shots as well for clarifications on that specific dealer.
Honda became opportunist company in India and dont know how to tackle competition. One hand they try to liquidate City's over inventory (thanks to vento & verna) and other hand if you switch to Brio then car can be deliver in 1-2 month's time. Post 2010, they are facing severe competition and reacted based on mkt scenario to reduce the price of City & Jazz (thanks due to they make only petrol versions!!). However, for Jazz they got splended response from mkt post price reduction and now again they want to capitalize on price of car. Now they are on fix with lower band Brio & higher band City and totally confused with Jazz's pricing policy & position !!. All japanese OEM have mfg. hub in Thailand for Asia supplies incl. Toyota & Suzuki, no one have problem in supplies (Etios can be deliever as fast as you pays!!). Even for Honda, newly launch Brio can be deliver within 2 months and City in one week in Mumbai & there is not a big technical change in Jazz car only some USB port and Aux in they have added from older version apart from all safety features and engine IVTEC remain same. It is exuse for prompting customer to buy low waiting period car either Brio or City which are profitable for Honda and delay the delivery of Jazz so any loyalty crazy Honda customer either wait or buy other product of Honda. As far as I'm concerned never recommend to buy Honda vehicle who take customer on ride even though these customers pay for the cars!!!.
