Hp — HP Redemption Cell - Did not receive free gift | |
I bought a HP PAVILLION DV5-1107 AX Laptop through Jumbo Electronics Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Ambience Island, Gurgaon on 25th February 2009. The invoice no. is 11832. As many o[censored]s are aware that HP Sales India Pvt. Ltd. was running a lucrative offer during first quarter of '09. The offer was redemption of a free gift out of these two: 1. Kodak Digital Camera 8 Mega Pixel. 2. Phillips Home Theater System So I opted for the Home Theater although handling charges were more ie. Rs 1499. I registered my laptop on the same purchase date at the HP Redemption site. The Redemption code I got was SVDY8C1UCO. As the dealer mentioned that HP Redemption Cell would take almost 6 weeks to process the request, so I kept waiting patiently. Today is 30th of June and you do the maths to know how much I have waited. I had faith in HP's services, HP being a highly reputed MNC and competing head to head with Dell. But this kind of marketing to lure customers with distant free gifts, charge them 1000s of rupees in name of handling charges, is so mean to a company who was recently crowned " Most Innovative Company". I have all these documents to claim the Free Gift from HP. 1. The Invoice of Laptop purchase, 2. Receipt of Speed Post that I sent to HP Redemption Cell, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi 3. The xerox of Barcoded product serial number sticker. 4. Receipt of DD in the name of SOLUTIONS INTEGRATED MARKETING SERVICES Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 1499/- It seems HP India is running this cheap marketing strategy to generate fund in the name of HANDLING CHARGES out of the pocket of innocent customers. Apparently, their intention is to keep us waiting with the motto "TIME IS MONEY". Any HP guy who is reading this complaint - RISE UP, and if I am wrong then I would be so pleased if you proved me wrong. I dont know how effective this complaint would be in redeeming my free gift. But still I made this on behalf of all such customers who kept waiting, waiting and waiting. I would urge you through your esteemed authority to compel HP India Sales giving it a serious thought and take serious measures to solve this ubiquitous isssue.
