HP(HEWLETT PACKARD) — non replacement of laptop adapter
My laptop adaptor was not working properly, so I asked the HP service centre to replace it. They replaced only the converter of the adapter. My adapter still takes about 7-8 hrs to full charge the laptop whereas a normal adapter takes only 2 hrs maximum. I contacted the service centre again but now they are not accepting the laptop on the bill as serial number of the adapter is not mentioned on the invoice. But they accepted the adapter last time on the same invoice.(My adapter is in warranty only till July 29, 2009)I submitted a complaint to HP in written, but no reply yet from their side.

Dear Sir / Madam,My name is Rajeev Agarwala. This is to draw your kind attention, i am writting this mail.
I have a Compaq Presario Laptop with me. I have purchased an adaptor from R T Outsourcing Services Limited, Gurgaon { Authorised Service Center for HP } on 1st of June, 2009. Now the adaptor is not functioning well.When i went to the serice center they completely denied for the replacement though it is within the warranty period. I also wrote several times regarding this to HP- customer care. If you need i can share all the communication between me, the hp customer care & the service center.
I have the valid money receipt of this also.
Need your intervention to solve this issue

Compaq Presario v3425au laptop — Defective Product
Dear Sir / Ma,am,I had bought a compaq presario v3425au laptop from thrissur (kerala) on Sept 2007 from Computer Arcade , i was said that this was having an international warranty. I had to move to Qatar the next month, Within 6 months the laptop display was having some problem, it doesn't start up and when i checked with the HP Service center in Qatar, they said this product was not having a international warranty,
The laptop was sent back to the retailer in kerala and he said he replaced the motherboard (July 2008), again after 6 months the same problem occurred (Jan 2009), the display doesn't show up and the laptop doesn't start up, Again i had to replace the motherboard from Qatar (warranty period was over), i paid QR 850 for its replacement.
Again in August 2009, the same problem happened and the motherboard was replaced for the third time.
Now im being showed up with the same problem display not working , laptop doesn't start up , this is the forth time the motherboard is getting the same problem , when i searched in the internet, i found out that many persons are facing the same problems with their compaq laptops.
This is actually a problem with their product design, Its not feasible and economical to have the motherboard replaced every 6-8 months.
Looking forward for a solution from your side, As this product was bought from india, is it possible to sue Compaq for the loss of time and money in solving their defective product?
HP laptop Presario V3000 — No Display
Dear All,Is anybody can sugesst approch to resolve the problem arrived to My laptop from HP company.
Model : Pressario V3000 .
Within the period of three years there is a problem of No Display.
Maintanance person is saying " Is piece me to problem hai, firbhi if Nvidia card chip ka problem hai to 4000/- ya fir motherboard 11000/-".
Is HP having solution to sold default piece.

why not some lawfirm sue it like in west to get free replacement.HP a shameless engineers asked to shell our 30 k for repair .joke of decade. they got 150 million USD as damages for defective chip.why not quitely replace Motherboard sans nvidia.

i am suchita kore i am facing the same problem with my laptop .i reparied my laptop for 4 times till now it charged me 10000 k .sitll after a month same problems occur .hp centers dont help us in any way

Hewlett Packard — Defective NVIDIA Chip
I purchased an HP laptop model no dv 2910tx worth Rs 50000 on 21st October 2008. The laptop was working fine but was becoming overheated in first 15 days.I contacted the E-Mart for you, the shop where I purchased the laptop. They told that it is a hardware issue. And they told me to take it to HP Care. Then I took it to hp's authorised service centre Digital Care Pvt Ltd. located at Shahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. They kept my laptop for a month. They replaced the entire motherboard and then when I got my laptop then again I faced the same problem. Then this time I gave my laptop to another HP authoised Service Center R T Outsourcing, located at Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. There they kept my laptop for 17 days and again the motherboard was replaced. But still I am having the same problem.When I searched the internet about this problem then I found some articles like "Defective NVIDIA chips in HP and Dell Laptops". Not only me but almost everyone who has purchased laptops containing nvidia chip, is facing problem. I am just wondering what will I do after my limited warranty.
Warranty extension will not help because a consumer cannot go to the service center everytime. The only solution is that HP should refund the money that I wasted on purchasing the laptop.
