[Resolved]  HSBC — Block of Credit Card

Hello,

Actually my bag was stolen on 24th April ' 2009 at London UK with all my credit card. So after that misshap was happened I called up American Express, ICICI bank to block my card and they confirmed me the blockage of the cards. But when I called up HSBC on 24th April itself ataround 10:35 PM IST they told me that already three transaction has been happened and they told me that they hadblocked the card on 24th April at 10:39 PM and also told me to raise a dispute against those transaction along with the police complaint and fax the dispute letter and the polic coplain to their fax number and told me to call back them to get the merchnat name for those three transaction after 3 days .

So when I called them after three days I was shocked to know that my card was not blocked on 24th April 10:39 PM but was blocked on 25th April 2009 at 10:39 PM and along with these 5 more transaction has happened, and the lady was just arguing with me .

Please do let me know how can I tackle this case as they dont provide any refernece number while blocking the card and also please do let me know how can I rasie a dispute against all those transactions that I had not carried out as I am having valid police complaint for the same .

For last 01 month I am trying to contact custmore care for cancellation of credit card through cell phone, till date i have not got connected with repective agency.I have to cancal the credit card.

This card constantly locks me out. If I go to the local mall and buy a taco it goes on fraud alert. I'm sick of it.
