[Resolved]  HSBC / Credit Card — Final Settlement Letter not issued after the payment made

Hi,

I had a HSBC credit card. There was due for around 14000. I called customer care for the settlement as they charged so many fines and interest on my usage. They agreed saying you pay 14k and they will send the settlement letter through post. I paid the amount but didnt got the settlement letter. Suddenly after 1 year (Approx.) i got a call from them saying there is due of Rs. 5k on my card. They said earlier i haven't paid complete amount so they didnt closed the account and if I pay 1400 which was balance last time they will send me the letter. I got socked and thought of paying the amount to avoid un-necessary burden. Next day i paid the amount. Now again after 3 - 4 months i am getting call from them saying there is an outstanding of Rs. 6k on my account. They are saying what ever i paid is mentioned as a partial payment in there record. Please help me out.

Many Time i tried to setelment my Cradit card ,But not geting any response from HSBC bank
Even i am geting phone harasment phone calls that to send amount in my personal account no will close your file extra.. ........

HSBC/Credit Card — Bills after settlement

Dear Sir,
I (Vikas Kumar Pandey) am credit card holder of HSBC Bank (Card no. [protected]) & belongs to delhi .
Actually because of financial problems i was not able to make the payments timely, so i decided to close this card by settlement.
Actual bill at the time of settlement was about 11000 Rs. and company offered me to pay 5000 Rs as settlement amout which i paid by cheque.
But there was a bit mistake from my side that as per company settlement letter payment should be maid on 25th sept 2008 but i gave them Cheque dated of 30th sep 2008.
Sir i did this mistake in inconscence & not read the settlement letter properly. Still i have that letter with me (attached)
But now after one year company is asking to pay 35000 /- to close this card,in which maximum amount is of late payment charges.
Sir, again i am agree to settle & close this card but on actual bills only.
Request you to help to close this issue.

Credit Card — Settlement of bills

Sir/Madam,



I have your SBI credit card for the last two and half year. Initially, this card was used for around 12 months and thereafter a request was made to cancel the card.



Meanwhile, I did not receive your bills for next 3-4 months after making request for cancellation. We assumed that final settlement bill will be generated and after making the payment, credit card will get cancelled.



Again it started issuing bills with old dues and imposing interest and late fee charges. When I contacted to customer care no. it was assured that your representative will come and resolved.



Since then, I have been regularly paying interest amount however no body from your office has approached for settlement.



This time I am putting this in B/w and if the matter is not resolved, I will not be liable for any payment.



Please look into the matter and resolved it immediately.

HSBC Credit Card — Harassment of paying the out standing of HSBC Credit card – Not issued to me

I, Mr. Janardhana Rao Koppu, never applied the HSBC credit card till now, but the people at HSBC are giving the mails to my email id and calling me regarding the payment of HSBC credit card dues, I have given decent mails to the concerned for removing my mail id and informed I don’t have any HSBC credit card in the month of Aug & Sep 2008. After writing all I didn’t get any revert from them for the same.

All of sudden they are calling to my mobile no and instating me to pay the credit card dues, and putting blames on me and harassing.I am herewith attaching teh mails which was given from my side regarding the same.

Please look into this and suggest me the corrective action in this regard.
