HTC is worst company I have ever seen. They try to cheat you by giving false promises. They terminate the employees once the project is closed

Very bad reliability from HTC Touch.
The phone used to switch off by itself multiple times a day. and then within 1.5 months of buuying the phone, the phone LCD screen goes completely white and some wierd striations all over it.. No external damage, phone never dropped and no external impact either.
Service centre said the LCD is damaged due to my fault.
If regular daily usage causes a screen LCD to go bust WITHIN 1.5 Months, then HTC MIGHT AS WELL CALL IT A HTC - 'TOUCH ME NOT', just decoration item !!

HTC — Worst Company ever

I had purchased my HTC touch diamond for more than 24,000 on 14/1/2009. Within few months it started giving me various problems & even the headphones wire coating broke out. I visited the service centre at koparkhairani ( very far from my house at powai). They told me that motherboard would be replaced and it would take a week. After 10 days I took back my cell, I realised that the issue yet persisted and inspite of wating my time, they didnt replace the motherboard. they had only upgraded the software. I had to keep the cell again for more than a week. When I had spoken to the HTC customer care, they as well as the service centre people told me that grace period of 4 months would be given on your product. When i took the product home, I realised that they had taken off the magnet which pulls & keeps the stylus attached to the phone. They had even figited with my volume control buttons placed at the side of the phone & my volume down button wasn't working. On calling & telling them, they told me that I need not worry & it would be done anytime I go towards that side where service centre is located. As the centre was too far & you need to pay toll of 60 rs everytime u go that side, i tried using it & thought would get it done when i go there. After few months my phone got locked & to unlock it I needed to use both volume control up & down buttons. Now my phone was out of warranty & within so called grace period as was told to me b4. So i visited the same service centre & realised that its been now shut down. So i visited the service head quaters at marol. When they opened my handset, they realised that the instrument had been mishandled & even the screws were duplicate ones. They 1st doubted that i must have got my phone repaired
from non-authorised service centre.When I explained them & they realised the depth of the problem, the only solution they had is they said that they would do their best for me. The best was giving me 10-20% discount on the part to be changed in my phone. Just the part for volume control costs 2000. They expect me to pay such a high amount for something which was a fault of theirs. It was not feasible so i left the centre after a good argument with the head who was extremely impolite & rude. Have used many phones but this has been the worst product as well as the worst service ever. Now my 24,000 is lying useless in my house. After putting one's hard earned money out of salary to buy a phone, you realise that it was a waste.HTC is just advertising but its products are extremely low quality ones & its service is horrible.

service offer — attending an interview

I have received a job offer from the videocon, 1st of all, I have never applied for the same & the address mentioned is incorrect & no. is given ISD. Moreover, it is not digestable, why they are asking the amount to be deposited for interview call. Request you to please stop such people to make innocent people fool.This is really surprising, even shocking that people have been complainig about these people for such a long time and no decision have been taken against them, as they are still doing the same. Trust, some action would be taken against such people..

Completely true. The initial pay offered is Rs.5000/- gross even for B.E graduates. plus a 3 year bond plus submitting your original educational certificates.

The thing is we should excel in the work designated to us to shine better and retain our position
So guys theres no restrictions as of now
You can very well join that company if you are lucky enough to get an offer from there

I feel people are just being reactive to one off Indicidual situations. HTC provides excellent training services to new joiners. I think its a fair call for company who are hiring freshers, train them and put them into projects to put a cap of Three years Bond. They need to take the Profits out of the Individual they train and not just train the individual to find the employee going to serve some other company. As far Salary goes. Its almost same as Industry standards if not more.

Every company these days have a bond for certain period for a Fresher and HTC is doing nothing different.

The Company is growing and has some excellent customers. As a beginner you can learn a great amount of work which will give a real shape to your career.

I work for HTC and I enjoy the work culture and people there. Yes Three years can be reduced to 2 Years to be fair. Salary is ok if not more.

Please remove the wrong impression being created here and go for the Interview guys. Its worth it.

12 hours job is not at all true. It is only when there is a huge need for manpower and there work. It is very good concern.

Guys don’t ever believe the comments given by the intray frogs still dragging with HTC. HTC was a good company few years back but not now. Pity to see some screaming about the envi of HTC, for them I would like to tell pl don’t waste your carrier with imaginary facts. If one is about to begin his/her carrier then HTC might be good given the chance you don’t get placed else where.
