[Resolved]  Hyundai i10 — problem with EPS

Sir,
I own a i10- ERA model. my car is 10 months old. 3 months back when we are travelling to kodaikanal, suddenly my steering got jammed and its very tough to steer it and i had a very tough time to bring my vehicle to halt at the side of the road. when i contacted my dealer he said this problem is found in some of these models and he told that company will provide you a free replacement.
now even though after the replacement with new steering set, this problem still occurs. when traveling in cities like chennai if the problem comes its really very tough to bring the car to a halt.

Sir,
I own a i10- model Dec. 2015 my car is 4 yrs old. my steering got jammed and its very tough to steer it and i had a very tough time to bring my vehicle to halt at the side of the road. when i contacted my dealer he said this problem is found in some of these models and he told EPS module will replaced and demand 10000plus GST.

The steering wheel developed problems and was not rotating properly, to the extent that when the wheel turned either to the right of left while driving it remained in the said position and did not freely return back to its normal position, that is, straight position. Rotating the wheel was difficult even though it had power steering.

The steering wheel had a manufacturing defect and that it was dangerous which could lead to an accident
I am facing problem with steering column, A/c and brake of 2017 model Hyundai i10 Magna 1.2 . Its really sad that car companies are cheating customers with these type of models. A middle class car buyer is paying hard earned money for a substandard car like this. government need to take action against companies like this. Very poor customer care in the showrooms.

Well said the brands should deliver services and products with reasonably good quality.
For sure it should be replaced under warranty.
My i10 was in the dealer for steering stiffness and the dealer quoted the price for ESP module, ESP motor and remove and install steering.
Quotation attached, is it necessary to replace all steering related parts for steering stiffness? Is it so expensive to do this repair? Labor alone is 10k and 3k?
