To whom so ever it may concern,

I purchased Santro Xing in Jan. 2008, after second service i faced major problem of vehicle breakdown very frequently. I gave my vehicle at deleras service station ( Kothari Car - Kharadi Service Station ) every time ( 4/5 times given to solve same problem ) to solve the problem, which repeatedly i face it & today also i am facing same problem. people @ Kothari service station are not able to solve problem nor they are able to understand why it is happening again & again. its better to go for tata nano why should i spend 3 / 4 lac ?

I want immediate action to be taken to solve the problem.

Hyundai Santro Xing — Permanent Registration Problem

I have taken the delivery of Santro Xing Car on Jan 17th 2010 on Temporary registration on the name of

B.Tulasi Gayathri. Where the financer is M.Tulasi Gayathri. It is my and her Sir Name is changed from Madeti to Bheemerasetty. The sales executive has taken all the documents on the name of BheemaraSetti Tulasi Gayathri and the finance executive on the name of Madeti Tulais Gayathri and now it has become a problem for Permanent Registrattion.

Please do the needfull to complete my permanent registration ASAP

    problem with EPS

    Sir,
    I own a i10- ERA model. my car is 10 months old. 3 months back when we are travelling to kodaikanal, suddenly my steering got jammed and its very tough to steer it and i had a very tough time to bring my vehicle to halt at the side of the road. when i contacted my dealer he said this problem is found in some of these models and he told that company will provide you a free replacement.
    now even though after the replacement...

    I have a Hyundai I10 Car was purchased in July08 and is still under warranty.Car is in the name of Ms. Soumya Easwaramony (my wife).Car was purchased from Hyundai Dealer M/S. Shreenath Hyundai, Opp Fame Adlabs, Andheri (West), MUMBAI 400058.

    Car has following problems since last 6 months:

    1) Fuel consumption is very very high ( I am getting an average of about 5-7 kms per litre petrol)
    2) A/C is not cooling enouch to reach a cutoff point for the compressor. (Which finally is rectified)
    3) Clutch setting is impropper and car engines shuts down while pick up.
    4) There is regular JERKING in the engine, and this is more noticable when the A/C is on.
    5) Wheel allignment goes offbalance every few days. (Which finally is rectified that is alignment ig good since the car is only delivered yest to me)
    (Wheel allignment has been done 2-3 times by Hyundai dealers and every time they have been charging me for the same).

    We have given the car to Shreenath Hyundai (dealer's) service centre but they have not done anything and just return the car stating it is OK and that I10 car model is like that.

    Then we have given it to two other HYUNDAI AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES in Mumbai and they too have returned the car saying that it is repaired and have also charged us under some pretext or other but all the above problems still continue.

    We have sent 3-4 emails to the HYUNDAI's official customer service address ( [protected]@hmil.net ) but there is not a single reply.

    The sales and servise staff at Shreenath Hyundai are now not ready to even listen to my complains, and keep saying the car is ok. That means that we pay for the car value and gamble for a good luck, when we buy a Hyundai car.

    MOST OF THE ABOVE PROBLEMS STILL CONTINUE IN THE CAR.

    Request you to please highlight the matter, so that the company realises their mistake and either replaces my car or give my money back. Yest the car was delivered to me but there was an electrical problem so it is back in the garage. Have spoken to Mr Manish who head Hyundai in West India and he has assured that if there is any more fuel efficiency problem he will replace the engine. They are just waiting for the warranty to wear out in June so that they can then wash their hands off.

    Kindly help me to solve this problem.

    Hi,

    I am facing the same problem of engine Jerking and more noticeable when A/C is on. But, my problem starts only when i travel more than 30 to 40 kms at a strech.

    I did purchase my vehicle on April 2008 from Kun India Pvt Limited, Hyderabad.

    I have raised the complaint with Hyundai and lets see what precautions they would be taking.

      I purchased a Getz 1.1 Option from HMP Delhi on 18 April 2009.
      Here are a list of problems and issues faced.

      Problems Noticed at the time of delivery

      1. Noise while turning the steering and starting the car
      2. I fitted Hyundai Approved Genuine Alloy wheels and notices that the Castor/Camber readings on the vehicle were at their extreme values.

      I am surprised why was this not detected during PDI.

      I was not really happy with the paint finish and here is a list of problems on this front
      1.Roughness in paint finish on the entire body specially the bonnet.
      2.Corrosion in the boot lid
      3.Grain on the roof paint

      I visited HMP, met one of the managers there who assured to fix the paintwork on the boot lid and roof but there is visibility on the issue no.1 i.e. problem with faint finish on the entire body.
      This is pressing issue for me and i do not know how will you fix it. On my last visit one of the casual workers who clean and wipe cars was called and he said " Bonnet paint is faulty coz i may have parked the car under a tree and the bird/tree droppings may have damaged it". This is not acceptable and fact is that i never parked the car under tree.

      Service issues :

      The same day when I went to HMP I decided to get the Vehicle services, thinking this was a company owned facility and I will get good service .
      I was surprised by the casual attitude of the service advisors, It is a complete mess I saw several customers and angry and frustrated jus like me.

      The advisors and not curious, they don’t know how to talk to customers. The delivery and service process looks very unplanned and messy.
      I had to regret my decision to get my car serviced at HMP, very next day I got it serviced from FX Hyundai in Faridabad.There were no issues that I faced, though this is privately owned facility but it is mush better than HMP.

      HMP has a endless list for areas of improvement.

      sir, we have purchased a GETZ GLE 1.1 F/L car on 30/09/2008 having chassis no MALBT51GR8M086749, engine no, G4HG8M433142 from m/s PIONEER HYUNDAI, MRG AUTO LTD, G.T.ROAD, LUDHIANA.PUNJAB. the dealer failed to identify the reasons/causes of defects, which are as follow.
      1 car gives sharp sound from both sides of rear shokers, espacially passing in rough road/spead breaker.
      2 car runs like "catter piller joy rider" at the speed of 60 km only.othewise it runs ok while below or above 60km speed.
      3 wipers of car are cutting the windscreen and making path marks on it.
      4 gives strange sound in reverse gear and feeling of heaviness.
      please correct the defects or we should take other steps, which you will not like.

        I had purchase a Hyundai i10 sportz car from Krishna Hyundai, Jorhat,
        1.the price quoted and taken were different. The amount to be refunded as shown in the bill, the workers in the dealer office are refusing and saying that it is the actual cost of the vehicle, The difference amount to be refunded is Rs.4001.00
        2.The name and contact no. of the dealer (owner ) was not supplied in spite of my request.
        3.When requested for a driver to assist in the first drive and as we had problem in taking out the vehicle from my garage I was promised to send a person on the following day, as no one turned up when I requested repeatedly was refused by the service manager

        hyundai i10 sportz — exellent service

        Trident Hyundai is an exellent organisation and the best customer service,. They are very good in every aspect so far
        I have purchased A HYUNDAI i10 SPORTS car from Krishanai Hyundai, Jorhat on 05.10.2012 & I have facing some problem by purchashing HYUNDAI car, and I have decide that I will never purchase any HYUNDAI vehicle & I'll sale the same at low price. The reasons are as followes :-
        1. I have found the price of i10 SPORTZ Rs 4, 67, 145 on Internet but the Krishanai Hyundai Jorhat has
        taken Rs 4, 70, 000. So that, It's one type of cheating.
        2. Insurances is calculated Rs 17, 000.00 & RTO amount Rs 23, 394.00, Which are found through Internet
        Insurance Rs 16640.00 & RTO Rs 18, 868.00 of Krishnai Hyundai of Jorhat.
        3. The discount of Govt employee ( Rs 5000.00 ) had not given.

        So this differance are lost me the beliveness of Hyundai ltd. And I am waiting for the reply.

          False Commitments from Hyundai Motors India Ltd

          • I have Paid, down payment for Santro GLS with CNG + Extended warranty to M/s Suhrit Hyundai Yusuf Sarai New Delhi on 31.12.2008 vide Invoice No: H[protected] dated 13/12/2008. promised me to deliver with in a week

          Delivered after two month by putting lot of hassle & follow ups.

          • Promised to deliver all the Original Documents & benefits within 2 weeks

          1. Original Insurance Document
          2. Registration Certificate
          3. Endorsement of CNG in RC.
          4. Extended warranty Certificate for CNG & Petrol
          5. At the time of payment they promised to deliver features like Seat Cover, Tray and Wiper at back side.

          Already 5 months nothing received as yet

          Note:-
          1. Theft, Accident or any other loss happen because of issues mentioned above, I will make Hyundai Motors responsible for it.

          2. Its already 5 months I have not yet received any document from your side kindly take this seriously otherwise I left with no option but to put this to media & other authorities for Justice.

          Now you are requrested to take necessary action in this regard and solved my problem immediately.

            I had written a complaint hereitself on APCO Hyundai, Calicut on 06/04/2009.

            It is found that all my concerns has been arraived due to some understanding and miscommunication. I was tottally disappointed once I felt at that time. I really appreciate the whole team members on thier follow ups to make things happen in better way. Iam confident that they will back me with very good support and guidence in future too.

            I really appreciate the ambiance and the facility they have with professionally managed team to sort out any concern of a customer.

              I had Bought an Car : Verna Crdi/Vgt on 9/10/2009 from Talwar Hyundai pvt ltd, Secunderabad. With Engine no. D4FA8U566322 / cHASSIS NO. MALCMUIVR8MO5298 WITH RTA NO. AP 10 AQ 4200 with loan from Hdfc Bank Ltd . From day 1 the car is draging to left side. I had compainted about this to the dealer in the first service. they did nothing at that time. After 5000 kms i saw the front 2 tyres were flat, i gave the car to the dealer and after lot of talks finally they changed the tyres in jan 2009. Now its 11000 kms and the car still drags to one side and every time i show the car to the dealer, they say its fine.. no problem with your car. Its become a pain now, after spending 8.5 Lakh on a car, you get a piece which is not fit to run on road. I would like to give a last compaint to them now, and go to the court of law if needed. They have to change my car or repair it to the perfert level to my satsifaction.

              yes verna has alignment problem from day 1 i have owned it... . this car makes front tyres clean in 15000 to 20000 kilometers ... i have to make car alignment check regularly in[protected]...which is very often... . i think this car has suspension problem...it thas hard shockers. and body of car is light and engine is heavy. so i request hyundai should take this thing in account and take some alternative to solve this problem..
              I purchased Hyundai Verna CRDI Sx from deep hyundai, delhi and since day one it is giving the problem of alignment. The cars drags to the left side. On the next day after delivery I took the car to their workshop and it was found the car was completely out of alignment.M/s Deep Hyundai corrected the alignment, but just after driving the car for 1300 kms, it was found that the car was again having the same project i.e. dragging to left. During first servicing the same was shown to M/s Deep hyundai who again checked the vehicle and found that the vehicel was again out of alignment.
              Now I have driven the vehicle for next 200 Kms. and again the vehicle has started to drag left.
              It seems that Hyundai motors has some problem in the verna.
              I have taken the vehicle to market and found that the car is again having alignment problem.
              It seems that after spending 8.60 Lacs M/s Hyundai Motors has given a permanent headache

              Hyundai Verna Crdi — tyre wear and tear

              sir,
              my new hyundai verna crdi dleverd 6 months back and had completed 13257km ,has lost huge amount of tyre ,the frond tyres had lost maximum grip on its inner side and thread is seen on both frond tyres, my second service was on 10000 km and they havent mentioned anything about this,what should i do
              Dear All, Hyundai Verna is suffering from manufacturing defects, due to which it pulls towards one side. But Hyundai will never accept this, but all the engineers at service centers knows about this and can confirm this. I am also sufferer on same account and have moved to court for replacement. Lets join hands and fight jointly as individually we will not be able to fight due to big size of the company.

                Hi,
                Am a customer of yours. I have taken an i10 from your dealer Hilton motors (Trivandrum, Kerala). My car was having knocking problems from the second day of delivery. I have met the dealer to resolve the same. They have done some temporary mechanical corrections. But the same problem continued. And now after completing my all free services they are saying the knocking is due to clutch problems and need to be changed. I have been using all brand cars for the past three years, and never experienced such damage with in two days o[censored]sage. More over I have helped your dealer in sales. Have referred 10 cases even in this crisis situation, and all were converted. My warranty period is not over and I want this problem to be resolved at the earliest. This kind of worst service will very badly affect your reputation. Expecting to have more control and supervision over your dealers.

                I agree, I HAVE PURCHASE THIS CAR JUST 10 DAY back and from day on i ma complaining for it, but they post pone my problem instead solving it. I am sure my car has defective EPS mechanism but dealer and company don't want to listen and solved the problem, DEALER CONCEPT HYDAI, AHMEDABAD has very poor service, after lodging of my complaint for EPS not as single engineer visited me and try to solved my problem. They take my car and sent back with instruction the "problem solved", actually it is not solved.

                The car EPS works JAM, yesterday this dealer and his one of the staff cross all limits of customer service and instead of solving my problem they ask us to leave the show room and don't want to listen to my problem.

                  Dear Sir;

                  My car i10 which is a product of the hyundai motors has been giving me all sorts of troubles since i bought it.Everything was fine until the first service but since then the vibrations have increased to a great extent i often suffer lack of concentration while driving my car and severe headaches after long drives. I've got to say that I am very unhappy by the choice i made. I have been complaining it to the concerned authorities here but there is absolutely no response from them.I took my car to your service centre, the service guys there had a look into it and said there are no vibrations in the car but i am not at all convinced with them.The other staff here are too just busy too to respond I am sorry to say but your customer satisfaction policy appears to be a joke. There has been no response by the authorities watsover.
                  I bought my car from the hyundai motors showroom which is located at Shahnajaf road, Lucknow on 6th January.

                  Hi

                  I have bought an i10 in March 2008 and since the very first day there has been a problem with my car. At a speed little above 50-60, you can easily start feeling the vibrations under the acceleration, but ofcourse no one from Hyundai could ever see/agree to this. I had to tell them that this seems to be a case of clutch overslipping and got my clutch opened and to my surprise it was all gone. To this they say "Sir, your driving habbits are responsible for this, as clutch is a wear and tear part". Ever after all this they have replaced the complete clutch twice, and havent been able to even identify the real problem. Now they have just stopped acknowledging the problem at all, and have declared me as a bad driver.

                  I am sure this Hyundai, doesnt believe in LEMON CARS and feels they are the perfectionists and cant go wrong while assembling a car.

                    Dear Sir/Madam
                    I, Mukesh nagar had an accident in Jan 2009 in Alwar Rajasthan. On Same Day I Booked My Vehicle in Modern Hyundai Alwar . My Vehicle was only one month old and accident was so worst that my i10 was damage all over. Now the most wonderful service came into the picture.

                    I was injured but Hyundai person did ask for ever water. I told them Kindly send a Crane to lift my vehicle (Accident was near to service station) But They did not response. Some how I arranged a crane, booked my i10.

                    I also has a Alto since 3 yrs and insured my Alto So many time but I never know the Insurance person because Maruti treated so well and arrange every thing with out any panic. But “MASHA ALLA” Hyundi service, I Called Insurance person and Hyundai person and arranged meeting 3-4 time in Alwar .I went all the way from Gurgaon to Alwar and a Off from Office cost me 2000 Rs/ day .

                    I want full claim of my one month old i10 If I got Body cell (3 side Damage) but Hyundai Person was ready to repair. So here all so The Great-Great Hyundai guys play a wonder full roll.

                    Still the Story doesn’t ended .From last one month they were postponing Date, Even their Director promise Failed

                    Promise Date are Following

                    28th feb, 4th April, 10th April, 18th April, 22th April, 27th April ( Director Promise ) and today is 28th April and today they told me that some parts are not available,

                    I file a compliant at yours Customer Service and Compliant no is[protected] on 22 April 28, 2009 and still waiting for any response.

                    IT is really a very good experience. I learnt so many thing and My suggestion is “Never Spend yours Money on Hyundai product “

                    I think a Promise of a “ Road Side seller “ is far Better then Hyundai service .

                    Frankly Speaking Hyundai will losses Minimum 10 Car with great negative Marketing. Because I am 26 yrs Old and all my friends are at the stage of purchasing a Four wheeler and only I am belongs to Automotive field and heading Quality deptt, So my suggestion will matter to them .

                    hi, i am ramesh from chennai, i have an hyundai elantra and i gave the car to kun hyundai adyar chennai for change of keys, they have gone and completly corrupted the ecm and wanted 65000 rs to repair the car, my argument that they only did the mistake fell on deaf ears, even hyundai service dept has not responded, it is surprising that a international company has such bad customer relation.i think kun hyundai purposefully damaged the car to fleece me and i wonder howmany times they would have done this to me earlier, who ever reading this and have a hyundai car please keep away from kun hyundai

                      Hello Sir,

                      I have booked a Hyundai i-20 on[protected] with KC Hyundai dealer Jammu and made the Booking amount of 30000/- for the vehicle as dealers promised to provide the vehicle in 1 and half months timeline but still as on date there is no confirmation for the delivery date and also their reply is not feasible as all the times they are giving new deadlines for the vehicle telling me ur vehicle is on top priority.

                      I need consumer affairs help for the same so that I can get the timeline for the delivery of the vehicle as I have taken a loan from bank and have to pay the interest of the amount for vehicle which is yet not delivered to me.

                      Please help me in getting my request processed and if the timeline is not feasible to me then i can further take other steps for taking my money back from the dealer.Also find attached reciept of booking amount.

                      I need consumer affairs help for the same so that I can get the timeline for the delivery of the vehicle as I have taken a loan from bank and have to pay the interest of the amount for vehicle which is yet not delivered to me.

                      Please help me in getting my request processed and if the timeline is not feasible to me then i can further take other steps for taking my money back from the dealer.

                      First of all conrats on booking i20...secondly would like to tell u that same is the case with me as happening to you...i suppose till now u not have recived delivery of your car...even i have booked i20 magna at kharisma hyundai chandigarh...that point of time the dealer promised me a delivery date before april end...after that no calls from him...later i have complained in hyundai customer care...then after that now they callled me up and are again promising a delivery date of 15may + - 5days...which i m not able to digest and who knows whether this comitment is true or again an eye wash...so i order to get bettre service i would like to ask freom u that have u tried something new to get delivery of your car...if yes pls reply to me at [protected]@gmail.com

                      Same problem in may case too.I booked a Hyundai i20 Magna Car on Feb.20.2009 at Krishna Hyundai.Tezpur. Assam.They promised me to deliver the same within March 20.2009.But I have not become able to get my car till date (18th April.2009.). On contacting the regional office of Hyundai st Kolkata they told me that it would be informed to me after contacting with dealers in which I booked the car.But no intimation was received from them too. And therefore . I have decided to complain a case at consumer forum in this regard if I will not become able to get my car within April.2009 demanding all compensation that I have born.

                      Did you received your car. Situation is absolutely same for me. I have booked i20 on 17th April 2009 in Noida Nimbus Hyundai...Still now no confirmation about delivery.
                      no improvement in the situation in the month of june-july 2009 either, and this time the state is rajasthan, the city is udaipur and the dealer is chandra hyundai. Highly unprofessional, totally unresponsive. I had booked 2 numbers i20 cars in june 2009, its already half of july has passed and no response to my bookings. I think Hyundai is out there to destroy all its brand equity. I stronly recommend everyone not to deal with CHANDRA HYUNDAI-UDAIPUR AND THEIR big mouth, rude and stupid sales manager Mr. Akhilesh.
                      I have booked BEAT LT on 9th of jan at K.C Srinager, wd FULL PAYMENT OF Rs 4.20 incl car insurance and was told car will be delivered after 15-20days, but till[protected] aim being miss guided by sales in charges, the GM claims it has sold 2825 units till end of Jan-2010, but aim told still 20-25 days are required for its arrival, were does the sold cars then go, it seems that K.C is selling its quota in black market, this is cheating wd customers, on behalf of K.CJammu/ Srinager.
                      well, this is the case with me also, i have booked my i20 Asta on 11th of march 2011 from kundan hyundai pune.Can i have the regional office no. of hyundai ? i am afraid since i have also booked a choice no which is valid 4 a month only..

                        Dear Sirs,
                        I am a bonafide and respected citizen of New Delhi and also a customer of your company car. The officials of your company promised and induce me to purchase a brand new Accent Executive CNG car and offering me exchange bonus but as soon as I book the car they declined their offer in one pretext or the other.
                        My sincere request is to kindly honor your words and extend me the scheme for exchange bonus.
                        The facts of the matter are as under:
                        Facts of the Matter
                        (a) I visited your show room at Mathura Road, New Delhi on the 21st January’2009 and met with the Customers Sales Manager and enquired about Accent Executive CNG car.
                        (b) The Customers Sales Manager questioned about my old car and proposed a scheme for exchange bonus entitlement, if I decide to book the car.
                        (c) Keeping in view of the lucrative offer proposed on behalf of the Hyundai Motor India Ltd, I accepted the exchange bonus entitlement offer and booked the car.
                        (d) It is pertinent to mention that at the time of booking I was confirmed that I will be eligible for exchange bonus after selling my old car.
                        (e) I had booked Accent Executive on 21st Jan.09 instantly.
                        (f) After paying full amount, I was informed that exchange bonus entitlement is extended for the blood relation only.
                        (g) And since my old car was in my fathers name & the new car being purchased in my wives name, exchange bonus won’t be applicable.
                        (h) This fact is not disclosed before me, when I decided to purchase the car and book the car and payment accepted by the said Manager.
                        (i) Had it been conveyed to me before, I would have purchased the car in my fathers/my name. Moreover, in no document given/published/advertised by Hyundai indicates the clause.
                        (j) I faxed 02 letters to the MD of the company on 20th Feb, 09 & 25th Mar, 09, also sent both letter on 26th Mar, 09 by a bearer as well as by blue dart courier to the company’s reception for refund of the amount paid but till date have not got any reversion.
                        (k) This is a classic example of corporate usurping customer money and forgetting it completely.
                        It may be out of place to bring to your kind notice that such breach of trust not only tantamount to a criminal act under Indian Penal Code but also violates the provisions of competition act (previous repealed MRTP Act) and vis a vis implied condition of the Sale of Goods Act, 1930 and squarely attracts the provisions of Consumer Protection Act’1986/ Consumer Protection (Amendment) Act, 2002.

                        In such a case you are duty bound to pay back the amount deposited, or in alternative, give the promised discount. Further please also note that non-addressing the problems tantamount to not only deficiency of service but also a clear cut matter of criminal breach of trust..

                        a] Ihave puchased i10 car from M/S DP goyal Bahadhurgarh Patiala . At the time of purchase they told me for scheam of free MP3 .I agreed but after some days i observed that speakers of rear windows not working, I contacted the agency for the same, They told it will take time you can came when your first service due. I went to the service centre for first service on dated 13.12.09. They told speakers in the rear windows were not available, you will have to pay for the same. They never told me about fhese speaker for extra payment, it is seems to be cheating with the customers.
                        b} Seconly they commited for corporate bonus of Rs 6000.00 as iam govt. employee. Isubmitted the papers for the same but till date ihave not recived any money or even information about this.

                        I request you sir to kindly solve the above problems earlier, As it will reflect towards the poor customer satisfaction by Hundai motors
                        It is seems that company has no control on the dealers, they are just saling the hundai cars by any means.

                        I here by given my car no. UP-32 BY 4233, dated on 19-01-10 to your Chinhat workshop, Lucknow for some accidental problem. I recieved my car on dated 27-01-10.I have made compain for some dents in doors, glass fiber of front side, bumfer of rubber along with some metallic portion of front side. Unfornately they niether repair the any dent part nor change. I request to you please either change my dent part or make a repair.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had booked a Hyundai i10 Sportz Automatic model with dealer A1 Auto Pvt. Ltd, 3/4/5, Town Center, Andheri-Kurla Road, Sakinaka, Andher(E), Mumbai – 400059.

                          1. I had booked the vehicle on 14th March 2009. I was promised the delivery of the vehicle on 27th March 2009 through salesperson Mr. Naveen Prithani.
                          2. On 23rd March 2009 I made the full payment of the vehicle since I was told that vehicle has left Chennai Plan of Hyundai.
                          3. On 25th March 2009, Mr. Naveen come to my office and said he wanted to meet me due to a small problem. He then apologies and updated that by mistake the manual version of the vehicle had got ordered. Due to this he was not in a position to deliver as promised since the incorrect vehicle has landed with him. Thinking this to be a genuine human mistake I accepted his request.
                          4. Mr. Naveen then confirmed on 26th March 2009 that the new order had been placed and promised me a new delivery date of 7th April 2009. Till 3rd April 2009 I kept calling regularly and was given updates that vehicle is in process.
                          5. On 6th April 2009 I went to the showroom to get an update on my vehicle delivery which was due the next day. Shockingly I was informed that Mr. Naveen had been sacked due to making promises to many customer which they could not fulfill. More socking than that was the news that my car was delayed. I then met the Sr. Manager of A1 Auto Mr. Jude Tandon. He promised me that the car will be delivered to me on 13th April 2009.
                          6. Since I had already had too many promised broken I lodged a formal complaint with Hyundai on 8th April 2009 via mail. Copy of mail attached below:

                          I would like to lodge a formal compliant against your Mumbai dealer A1 Auto located at Andheri(E), Sakinaka. The dealer while following up for the order made all sorts of promises and once the booking was formalised then changed his stance.

                          1. The delivery was promised for 27th of March. The entire booking amount was collected in 2 parts before hand itself. The first booking was made on 15th March were a cheque of Rs 50, 000/- and full payment made on 25th March. A few days prior to the promised delivery date the sales consultant (Mr. Naveen Prithani) calls and says wants to meet. He then meets up and informs that there is a small mistake and that he has incorrectly placed the order for manual version of i10 in place of the Automatic Sportz model ordered. He pleads to be given extra time and commits to give some extra accessories as a compensation.
                          2. Again 2 days before the new delivery date of 7th he says there will be delay due to holidays. Also, he now asks for copies of registration book and insurance papers of old car. These where never discussed earlier.
                          3. Against the promised free accessories the sales consultant starts asking for 50% value. He also starts dropping items from the commited list of accessories.

                          I would like to highlight the pain and mental stree caused due to these problems faced with the dealer. Despite escalations only promises are made.

                          Request you to pls look into this and advise if as a consumer you have any mechanism of redressal of my plight or method of penalising your dealers.

                          7. I received email response saying someone would contact me within 3 days. The next day I was given a complaint no on SMS which is[protected]. Then I got a mail asking for more details which I promptly provided. But till date no one has contacted me from Hyundai.
                          8. I then called up one Western Regional office no which was listed. After 2 days of trying I got throught to someone who provided me with the name of Mr. Deepak Raina who I was told is the Area Sales Manager for Andheri area. I tried on 10th but he was not available. On 11th April he picked up the phone and said was in meeting. Then till Monday 13th April his mobile was switched off.
                          9. On 12th April I then decided to visit the the dealer to check if the promise made by Mr. Jude of 13th April was being met and see if my car was going to be delivered. I got another shock to be told that car has still not come in. Mr. Jude was himself on leave and his people didn’t have a clue about my car. After a lot of drama and discussion they decided to check the inventory. Then came back to say that the car had come but registration was pending. Mr. Sumedh Kulkarni, a new salesperson, then committed to deliver my vehicle on 15th April by expediting the regitration.
                          10. Since Mr. Sumedh confirmed that he was new to the dealer organization I decided to pursue my complaint with Mr. Deepak. On 13th when I finally managed to speak to him in the evening he gave me his email id and asked me to forward my complaint mail. I prompt send him the email.

                          11. On 14th April again he would not pickup my calls. I then sent him a reminder mail. But he did not revert back.
                          12. On 14th April itself in the afternoon I received a call from A1 Auto saying my car will now be delivered on 18th April only as registration would take time. I wrote this on mail to Mr. Deepak. Mail copy attached below.

                          A few minutes back I got a call from Ms. Shaila Mane from A1 Hyundai Andheri saying I had put a compliant about delayed delivery. She then updated me that the car has landed on 9th and will go for registration tomm. So my car will now be delivered on Saturday 18th April.

                          This is indeed another big surprise. Yesterday when I spoke to Mr. Sumedh Kulkarni he informed me that PDI has been completed and he will be able to get the car ready by tomm 15th Wed after all registration formalities.

                          So I am again at a loss if my escalations are at all being taken seriously by Hyundai or I am being left at the mercy of the dealer to continue playing with me as I have no support from Hyundai.

                          I am still to hear form you about any action that you may have taken or planned to take on my case.

                          In case I don't hear from you pls rest assured that I will take this up in a consumer court and ensure that it is also published in the press as well.

                          13. On 15th April, I finally decided to escalate the matter to India head of Hyundai. After a lot of struggle I managed to get an email id and send out the below mail. It is shocking to note that no action has been taken on my case even my the India head.

                          2. I have lodged a written complaint with Hyundai on 8th March and sent several mails after that. Till date no one has contacted me back with status of my complaint.
                          3. Yesterday I called the Hyundai call center. They were not able to help at all. They promised to revert in 2 hours. But I am still waiting.
                          4. I have repeatedly called Mr. Deepak Raina, your local Mumbai Area Sales Manager. His cell is either switched off or not reachable. Once he picked it up to say he was in a meeting and then the cell was off for 2 days. I managed to get him finally and he asked me to forward the mail complaint. After that I am yet to hear from him again or see any action.
                          5. As detailed in my below mail I got a call from the dealer again giving me a new date and new story. So am not sure of what my fate is.

                          I would humbly request you to kindly help in cancelling my booking and beg of you to relieve me of my pain by returning me my full booking amount. If this is the support at the start of the relationship with Hyundai then I shudder to think what would be the fate going forward.

                          14. After all these false promise, mail, escalations, call, etc I am still without my veichle even today on 17th April 2009 even after more than a month of booking my car. I shudder to think what other consumer would be facing with dealers like A1 Auto and at the same time the shabby compliant support of Hyundai. At this stage if someone were to offer me a FREE Hyundai vehicle I would not want to even look at the same.
                          I would like to earnestly request you to please tale up my case with Hyundai and ensure there is some mechanism put in place for punishing corporate like Hyundai.

                          I have bought Hyundai i10(Era) on 4 june 2009.As I am in Government service, under scheme dealer promises me to give discount of 21, 000/-, as soon as registration will be done by him, Sub-dealer in Raigarh Chattisgarh has committed to me that as soon as the registration of Vehicle, he give me the cheque of 21, 000/-.After 2 months of regular conversation with him, he has given me the RC of Vehicle, and when asking of cheque, they told me that, it will be made by our Korba(Chattisgarh) office, when contacting to korba, they told me that it will again took two-three months more, as it will be finalise by our head-office.
                          If such offer is not made by the hyundai company, at the time of purchase, I would never selected such poor after sale company like hyundai, I would better be opt for Maruti Wagon-R, as also earlier with my Maruti-800, the after sale service is very good by the Maruti Company.
                          If this complaint matters to hyundai company, please penalise the Sub-dealer in Raigarh chattisgarh and Korba chattisgarh, and arrange our refund of Rs.21, 000/-.
                          Mr. Deepak Raina is a crook who doesn't have the common deceny to address a customer grievance. Currently, they are forcing buyers of the new Verna car to purchase insurance (at a much higher premium) through the dealer. It is both anti-consumer and violates anti-monopoly laws.

                          Mr. Rajiv - sorry for your issue, hope you were able to resolve. Would you be able to help me with Mr. Raina's mobile number and email address? I would like to reach him as well. Also the India head information would be great. Thank you in advance.

                            i've brought one i-10 sportz on 26.2.2009 fro hilton hundai kollam, TVM, KERALA.I'M Assistant engineer in the lsgd that is why i got corporate offer. then i took my first service from SS MOTORS EANATHU, ADOOR, KERALA on 1st april 2009.there i fitted a new fog lamp of Hundau itself. after that my experience was very bad. a malfunction indicator was appeared at all time of my driving and the radiator fan is working even after switching off the engine.on the next day itself, i've reported the complaint at SS MOTORS EANATHU, ADOOR, KERALA with my vehicle.they inspected and said normal. but then i've contacted hilton hundai kollam, TVM, KERALA and they suggested me to report at hilton hundai TVM, KERALA on phone number [protected] one mr.sreeji and they suggested me to bring the vehicle at the earliest.now my vehicle is at hilton hundai TVM, KERALA (VEHICLE NO.KL 23 A 2299).THEY IDENTIFIED THE DEFECT AND SAID that fog lamp fitting is not clear. SS MOTORS EANATHU, ADOOR, KERALA HAS WORKED OUT THE WIRING NOT IN THE RIGHT MANNER.but now Ihilton hundai TVM, KERALA reported some electronic errors to the vehicle.
                            now i'm in utter disappointment due to the complaint of my vehicle. that all problems are due to your service persons at SS MOTORS EANATHU, ADOOR, KERALA. so kindly give me your reply as far as possible about my vehicle and remedy to my grievenvces.

                              I am loyal consumers of Hyudai, having purchased 3 vehicles in the last 3 years. However, my latest purchase - i10, has been one of my most frustrating buying experience. I purchsed the cars in the month of September'09 (from Suhrit Hyundai, Green park) and was promised exchange bonus of 15k to be received in 30 days. Its been more than 7 months and there has been no response from Hyundai. Upon contacting (mailing and calling) the Hyundai service numbers (and the service heads), they blankly say, that they cannot do anything on that, as the dealer has made some financial mess and that Hyundai motors will not take up the onus to pay back consumer dues. The dealer on the other hand, claims Hyundai motors responsible for this mess.(I have made some 15 vistits to the dealership by now and made some 25 calls/mails to Hyudnai motors, I have all the prooofs).

                              However, between the struggle, I am yet to receive a single penny of my dues.

                              Welcome to the club Abhik, that have suffered from the hands of Suhrit Hyundai. I wonder why Hyundai has never taken any action against this fraud dealer. Looks like a nexus.

                              Here is my story:
                              I had purchased a Santro couple of years back and and that time Suhrit & Hyundai had a scheme of offering Rs. 5000 as exchange bonus (Salesman - Sandeep Srivastava). However I have never received the amount till date despite many reminders to the salesman, Suhrit and also filing official complaints with Hyundai & Consumer forum that was duly sent to both Suhrit & Hyundai.


                              All I can say is that Hyundai has lost a customer forever now and I will never ever purchase any other car of their make.

                              Hyundai Motor — Cheating & forgery

                              Cheating By HMIL, Their Dealer Rishab Hyundai & CEV Engineering. The nexus run by HMIL, I can expose it with proofs. They are doing illegal practices causing loss to tax departments & public funds.

                                I had taken one Santro from Trident Hyundai in Nov.08. The moment i went for enquiry till the time of delivery and till now on getting the services, it was very awesome experience. The updates and timely response is very superb. Each and every member in their team is highly professional and all their transaction with them is in very high quality and beyond my expectation. Each and everything they committed will be done well before my anticipated time. They respect the cusotmers very well. This made me to opt for an i10 for my family at native. As a new dealer i opted APCO Hyundai. From the day one we faced cheaper marketing techniques. For the exchange of old vehicle, itself they made our life miserable. The moment i went to make downpayment they informed to pay Corporate discount in advance, which was not at all informed to us. When I clarified other delears at bangalore, they gave the money back, on which they took a cheque as a gurantee. I dont understand why they need gurantee from customer when the company owes them the money as their reimbursement. After all, they promised for delevery on friday and at 12:00 pm they informed that, vehicle is ready with Teflon treatment and under chasis painting and hence the regn formalities has not finished they may do it next day. In the evening when we went to check the vehilce it was seen that no work and PDI has been done. Is this the way to give promise and treat a customer? As we queried they replied with a sorry and offered Keyless entry for the vehicle to postphone the delivery on monday. On saturday the sales executive called and informed that the Keyless entry offer was made by mistake and could not be given. All these thing are happening within one week and never their Sales manager comes into picture and tried to sort out. On saturday when i asked him the explanation, he is replied that he was not there in the showroom when ever these discussions going on and he told that he has authorised some other managers to tackle it. How is that? He himself admitted he skipped out. I wonder how he cant pick up the phone and talk with the customer. After all he was explaining that the sales persons has not given any gurantee on offer of keyless entry as if i was a lier. I feel pitty on the unprofessional attitude of sales person in my city. How cheap marketing. The sales manager again made fool the saying that the concerned sales person is on the way to meet me. I just kept waiting for him. This cheapest dealer doesnt have a website of their own nor any email id. After all they may be feeling proud to fool a customer and gained few hunderds of rupees.

                                So, I recommend any of the readers to never go and buy car at APCO Hyundai at Calicut. You will be defenitley fooled by them with false promises and worst quality customer relation.
                                It is the same person who has made the complaint.

                                The later date after this, it was found that the dealer being very much cooperative and responding to our queries and concerns. I really appreciate the way everything came up.

                                  I bought a i10 car from Samara (Delhi) in Sept 2008 I was told my exchange bonus (of Rs. 15, 000/-) will be given in 2 months, I have not received any cheque till date.

                                  Despite logging complaints with Hyundai call centre in Dec. 2008, Jan.2009 and Feb 2009 I have not received in reply. I even sent a letter to Samara and hyundai mathura road, but no responce.

                                  I spoke to customer care head (may be Mr. Ahmed) in Mathura road head office, he assured be of bnest service, but no result.

                                  I wrote e-mail to Samara for which they replied and promised me to give a cheque the next day. Its been 3 weeks I have not got only excuses and not the cheque.

                                    This is with regard to to my Hyundai Verna which was sent for service to the Kun Service station at Nellangarai., Chennai. We had earlier made a complaint and the result of that was memos served to the service advisor and manager ( as said by them ) but nothing much was done to the car itself. The car is in a very bad shape and others who see a Verna smoking like this are and will be annoyed to purchase one. The original pickup is totally missing.

                                    Question that needs to be answered.

                                    The car was sent for as per the advice of the service advisor for clutch replacement but many other parts were changed without informing us . Check the service records. (and it was there in the service station for 15 days)
                                    Why the engine head was opened and engine dismounted for replacing the clutch plates.
                                    Why free wheel was changed.
                                    Timing belt was changed without our consent.
                                    Why the coolant liquid went into the engine and why the rust formation.
                                    One of the injector was rusted.
                                    Engine oil sump was empty due to severe leak.
                                    The leaked oil was all over the brake drum and total failure of the system.
                                    They claimed that water had mixed with Diesel . By then the car had clocked 2000 Kms and to our knowledge diesel was filled at reputed stations. Never we felt any jerk or starting problem during these days.
                                    Suddenly the gears were not falling as it used to be and especially the reverse gear was slipping into first gear.
                                    The pickup on the roads of the Verna is lost and it does not climb ghat sections.
                                    Black smoke is more and KUN says That the turbo charger needs to be checked.
                                    Mileage has dropped to 9 kmpl from 15kmpl after the service.
                                    Why the steering underarm was changed twice under warranty without informing us. Even now there the steering is hard and there is a leak.
                                    Clutch is hard even after changing the clutch plates.

                                    After the first service when most of the problems were mentioned KUN took the car and kept it for 10 days to rectify most of the problems. As of now the same problems persist and have become worse.

                                    We are not prepared to send the car to Kun Hyundai for further repairs. We feel that Kun has destroyed the car and they are liable to give a replacement. We are not prepared to settle the balance bill which is way beyond the said estimate . Estimate was for Rs 19000 and the bill given is Rs 49719.00 . We have already paid Rs. 20000.

                                    Iam pushed to mental agony especially when I park on a slope since iam not sure whether this car is going to move forward while accelerating. It happened once after even engaging the first gear it could not move forward and went back to hit a stationary vehicle.

                                    Based on the above observations please take necessary steps to replace the car since I have totally lost faith in this model. A point for you to consider is that this sudden change happened after this service which is 30 months after I purchased the car and after running 78, 000 kms without any problem. I was a proud owner of Accent for 4 years until I purchased Verna based on the reputation of your company.

                                    Ex Kun guys say that it is not advisable to send your car for service during the last week for they have a directive asking them to change spares so as to increase the stores performance . Is this TRUE.

                                    everyday is a nightmare driving this car.

                                    Verna -hyundai — Rip off at service station

                                    We are not prepared to send the car to Kun Hyundai for further repairs. We feel that Kun has destroyed the car and they are liable to give a replacement. We are not prepared to settle the balance bill which is way beyond the said estimate . Estimate was for Rs 19000 and the bill given is Rs 49719.00

                                    my car running 97, 000 kms.sir im going to change my timing chain at verma hundai at mt my city showroom name verma hundai.after change my timing chain my car had a problem missing problem & they told us ur injector r damage.after change my injector my pronlem is not solved then they ask us arrange ur own injector.when i go to find injecter in my car verna suddenly my car has stoped at road when i check again my 4 injector r damage now 2 month r going my car is stiil at hundai showroom standing adviser or maneger r told us we have no gurrenty plz gave me a solution.im soo upset or im in tension.no one cam responce me.what i do.
                                    this complaint is regarding hyundai verna diesal model 2008.the problem of mixing coolent with engine oil comes again and again .i had run my car 35000 km only inspite of that all four tires have changed, rough alighnment problem, all four break shoes have changed, , , , , and majorly th prob of mixing coolent and oil came .the service station at noida (nimbus hyundai) have told me that it is becaue of intercooler changer fault and it wll cost you around 12000.at that time i have paid that amount.and they have changed inter cooler assembly and filter body both, and asured me that this poblem wll not come again but after some time the problem came again...this time i was at highway and car goes heated, so that i have got to toe that car from greater noida to noida..this time the nimbus hyundai said that it is b coz of some choking in th galleries of cooler ...but somebody let me know that how as a consumer i could take a action against hyundai or hyundai service center sector 63 noida, , , , , , , , , , , , , i am very upset and in tension that could anyone solve my problm b coz no one here to listen my problem ...if any solution [lz contact me

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                                      I have a Hyundai Santro Xing XG, bought in Nov end 2004. I am the only driver, single owner and have driven less than 29, 000/- Kms. I had purchased 4 years extended warranty and additional rust proof coating for extra protection. The vehicle has not met with any major accident and has minor dents and scratches, which is typical of any city driven cars. The vehicle is otherwise in a immaculate condition.

                                      The vehicle was serviced and maintained throughout by HMPL (Company owned serviced centre), Chennai, except for the last time in Dec 2008 where I was forced to service it at Kun Hyundai, Adyar, authorized Hyundai Service centre as I was not able to get a paid service appointment for more than 2 months. I waited for the same but on the day of appointment in Nov 2008, I had to go to US and hence missed the appointment at HMPL . When I asked for the appointment again, I was given one around the end of Jan 2009. Since it was too late and the service was due, I had no choice but to go for another service centre (Kun Hyundai). After the service by Kun, I was told that the pick-up is a little less in 2nd and 3rd gears and that I need to change the tuning sprocket which would cost about 1000/- Rs.

                                      Since the vehicle was maintained throughout by HMPL, I immediately took it to them (2nd week of Jan 2009) as I was not comfortable with any other person servicing the vehicle. The vehicle was test driven by a service engineer, coordinated by Mr. Ponraj of HMPL. He said that there are no immediate problems and asked me to take up a appointment for thorough check up. As usual the date given was a month's delay, sometime in early Feb 2009. Unfortunately, I missed the appointment again due to my work related travel (I am a S/w professional and travel abroad on business trips often). I again took the car to HMPL on the 25th Feb 2009 and was told that I need to wait for a month to get an appointment. Mr. Karthik, service engineer, was kind enough to do a test drive looking at me pleading with the service front desk. He was not able to find out anything from the drive test and used a portable testing kit to check the parameters. He said everything was ok and if required asked me to get an appointment for checking the internals of the car. I immediately booked an appointment and got a date of 27th Feb 2009 (more than 1 month since the requested date).

                                      On the 27th Feb 2009, I left the vehicle for service at 9am and mentioned to the service engineer Mr. Nirmal, that test drives were done by 2 of their folks and specifically gave the reference of Mr. Karthik. He mentioned that he will look into the problem and I can take the delivery of the vehicle by the evening, same day. I called Mr. Nirmal twice at 2pm and 4pm but he said that they are still working on it and haven't found anything. At around 4.30 pm, I received a call from Mr. Nirmal, saying that they need to open the engine to check it and would cost about 25, 000/- Rs. I was shocked to hear the same as it has been maintained throughout by HMPL and run very less kms. I said that I wanted to talk to the customer service manager and then spoke to Mr. Vasudevan. He said that I had not done my services in time (every six months) and at times have driven for more than 7 months and hence could be the problem. I was again shocked to hear this as I have been taking utmost care of my car and check the engine oil, coolants etc every 3 months. Whenever I had asked for a service date the service person used to say that my vehicle has run very less kms and hence can wait for some more time and have given me appointments 1.5 to 2 months in future.
                                      The same service centre folks are now saying that there is a problem as it has not been serviced every 6 months which is paradoxical.

                                      Added to this is the vague answers given by them until Saturday evening saying that there could be a problem with the compression and if they open the engine and if there are only minor problems then it would cost Rs. 25, 000/-. I have lodged a complaint on this to Hyundai on the 27th March and haven't received any response till date. It appears that they are trying to take me for a ride without proper analysis and making me pay an exorbitant amount saying that the warranty is over in Nov 2008 and I have not serviced my vehicle every 6 months. I have retained all my service records since I purchased the vehicle.

                                      I would like to get proper justice on this rather than irresponsible answers from the service team without being able to tell me the problem and trying to pass the blame. Also, there has been no response from the Hyundai Customer Service team for the complaint that I had lodged. I fail to understand how a vehicle which has run less than 29, 000 kms, single owner and single person driven have a problem to the extent of repairing the engine which is the heart of the vehicle. I feel really cheated, frustrated and sad for becoming a Hyundai customer

                                      i've purchased santro on 10 january2008. tab se ab tak 4 services karai hai bt still im not satisfied with the services. kyunki complaints theek hue bina as it is washing hoke gadi ghar pe deliver ho jati thi probs as it is rehti thi.har baar written mei dene k baad b koi sunvai nai kyu logo ka pagal banate hai ye log, agar mere ko meri satisfaction k according sevice nai mili to main sabko yehi kahungi ki DONT PURCHASE SANTRO OR ANY CAR OF HYUNDAI OTHER WISE U WILL HAVE TO FACE SERVICING PROBLEMS .my brother wants to purchase santro xing par ab mai usko yehi salah dungi ki dont purchase santro, sirf bhai ko he nai dusre meri jankari mei jitne hai mai unhe yehi salah dungi never purchase any hyundai car..and then the chain is on n on...

                                      I made a detailed complaint dt.13.11.09 to Shri Madhurji manager workshop Hindustan Hyundai M.I.Road [Sansar Chand Road] Jaipur, Rajasthan on nine points various defects found after obtaining delivery of vehicle after repair of accident.
                                      Vehicle was given three times after accident but the defects were not removed. Every time I am asked to make payment WHILE INSURER REFUSED TO MAKE ANY FURTHER PAYMENT AFTER INITIAL PAYMENT . Hindustan Hyundai should not /cannot compel me for payment for fault on their part .On the other hand I can go before consumer court for fault in providing service.
                                      On dt.11.12.09, I again went to workshop to get removed the same defects i.e . oil regurgitating in the filter box and also passing smoke from silencer etc. detailed in written complaint . I am asked to leave the vehicle for five days again, which is not fair .
                                      Previously also vehicle was kept for 2 to 5 days.
                                      I am felling harrassed . All points of complaint dt.13.11.09 be removed without any further payment on any count against the defects.
                                      Please intimate the action taken at your end.

                                      Before 6 months ago, we have purchased a Santro xing car from Shree Ram auto world Pvt. Ltd. at Bhavnagar (Gujarat).

                                      With reference to above subject, we having some complaints against shree ram auto world pvt. Ltd.

                                      1)First time, we have purchased and fitted seat cover. The seat cover were spoiled with oil & Grease by workers and they forced us to fit that covers and we have to do that.Nobody is ready to listen our complaint. There is no any responsible person in entire show-room .

                                      2)Sometime ago, our car was damaged during accident.our car was fully insured.However, they have passis some amount of insurabce and other amounts will be paid by us.They had pressurised to us.They have taken amount of 1150 in cash without any receipt or voucher.There is no any responsible person to attend the complaint in entire show-room in Bhavnagar and other staffs are misbehaving with customers.

                                      Please, look into the matter and sort out my problem as early as possible.
