[Resolved]  Icfai Tech — Fraud CHAIN of Institutions all over india

the fact in Shillong appears that ICFAI is patronised by people in political power as revealed by some of the staff of ICFAI, even vital positions were given to those people who are pawns of politicians. the key persons from guwahati always avoid meeting people with complaints and have all the time for new enrolment that can be done by Shillong staff. it indicate that enrolment makes money and complaints do not. here is a detail information from one of the staff of ICFAI Shillong:

In the month of September 2008 ICFAI University Meghalaya started Alpha Charitable learning Centre’s for the poor and the underprivileged BPL families where children can avail free schooling with free mid day meal. Accordingly they opened 03 such schools one in Mawlynrei, one in Nongrah and one in Lumsohphoh.
The Rangbah shnongs granted the permission to ICFAI thinking this to be a noble project. Accordingly the Rangbah Shnongs gave space for running the schools and teachers were being recruited by ICFAI Alpha to teach the students who came in large numbers to avail such free schooling.
While, in the month of April 2009 02 Schools one in Lumsohphoh and one in Mawlynrei were closed down without any rhyme or reason and teachers were terminated on the plea that ICFAI is no longer interested to run the schools anymore, consequently the teachers who had left their permanent jobs in quest of a better opportunity were rendered jobless and the schools where the students took schooling were also deprived of having free schooling. It may be mentioned that the directors of ICFAI earlier announced this with pomp and grandeur on the 1st of September 2008 at a press conference and even roped in the Ex- Chief of Election Commission, J M Lyngdoh to the media. But now as they silently closed down their operation their whereabouts are not known and the principal of ICFAI Biloris Lyndem is also tightlipped about the whole matter trying to hide facts.
It may be stated that consumer forum government of India is giving repeated advertisements in the print and the electronic media in the best interest of the students community urging that student should take admission only in those colleges which are recognized by UGC, AICTE and HRD ministry, but ICFAI University Meghalaya is not recognized by these bodies but by virtue of only a Gazette notification which has even met the resentment of the general public and the students. They have not met the basic criteria for such accreditation.
They have even failed to procure land for the establishment of the university that they have promised to procure to the government during inception.
It also may be mentioned that ICFAI University Meghalaya has even repeatedly flouted the State Reservation policy in the appointment of its faculty by denying rights to the indigenous candidates.

Dear friends, Please try to get the factual position. Due to the UGC's recent direction that all off-campus centres etc. are not to be run beyond the territorial limits of a University established in a State, all such Universities, most of them run by private institutions, are under a correctional mode. Hence, these complaints should not conclude ha the ICFAI is resorting to these unfair methods. Please try to understand that ICFAI is leaving no store unturned in adopting fair methods in making the higher education available and accessible to one and all. I go through all comments and became very feared about ICFAI. I recently got an opportunity to work as Sr. Position at ICFAI University, agartala. I have 8 years working exp.in Teaching and I have 8 years working exp in AICTE Approved Engg./Management colleges. Can any body suggest me is it save for me to work at ICFAI Agartala, is there any scope for me. Is it Fraud or good university. The Pay Scale is not attractive. How is agartala City. Can you guide me how is the college atmosphere there. Please suggest what will be the better for me. Should be left my college and join at ICFAI Agartala or contd. my present college. How is the Placement Status there for ICFAI B.Tech students and how is the infrastructure there.
