[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Rude Behaviour

Hello Team,

I would like to express another worst experience i had with one of your third party collection agent ... His name is Umesh, mobile # [protected] ... This person visited my place on 22nd October 2011 early morning.. He said it’s regarding one of the personal loans (LPBNG[protected]) wherein I’ve paid 26 EMI out of 48 and he would like to know when i will pay the remaining amount... I told him that I’ve got some personal financial issue coz of which i stopped making payment... I also told him that I’ve taken 3 loans in total and did provided detail for the remaining two loans... He said he will check status of the other two loans and will update me on the same. He then started talking about the loan for which he has visited my place as when i will go for either closer or will i pay at least one EMI for this time... for that i told him that he has visited at the last week of the month and i don't have money to pay even a single EMI ... He then assured me that if i go for closure he can give me the least discount amount to pay off and close the loan... i told him at this moment i can't afford to go for closure, he then said in that case at least can i pay one EMI.. i told him i don't have money as of now... he argued for a long time and finally i agreed to pay one EMI to this person and i told him to visit my place next month to collect the EMI amount... and now this person said he can't wait till next month and he want EMI on 29th of October 2011.. I told him if my salary gets credited on 29th itself i will call him asking him to come and take the money...
I called this person on 29th early morning to tell him that I haven’t got the salary yet and asked him if he can come on Tuesday that is 1st of November 2011 to take the money and this person started screaming on call and started abusing me on call ... I told him if he continuous talking this way I will disconnect the call… he said you can disconnect any number of times, I will keep calling you… I asked him to calm down as I am not denying to pay money just that I haven’t got salary yet and that’s the reason I am asking him to come and take money on 1st… By then this person was at the peak of his voice and he started threatening me stating he knows how to collect the money from me…I told him if you continue speaking this way I won’t pay any money to you and disconnected the call…While disconnecting the call this person gave a wired smile on phone and said disconnect the call I know how to collect money from you.

I‘ve got a humble request to you guys… Please ask these third party agents to stop calling me coz they are very unprofessional and use such a bad language on call that anyone would feel offended and it’s really difficult to come out of it… I would like to assure you guys once again that I will close my three loans as soon as possible and i will intimate you guys on the same … And when I do that I wanted to deal with you guys directly (ICICI BANK) instead of dealing with your third party collection agency..

Again requesting you guys to ask your third party collection agents to refrain calling me coz they are very rude, unprofessional & abusive on call.

ICICI Bank — Unprofessional/ RUDE behaviour

Hello Team,

This is Saravana, I have taken 3 loan from icici bank and have paid EMI for almost 3 year.. unfortunatly due to some personal financial issue to stopped paying EMI and its been almost more than a year since i stopped making payment and thats where my name started appearing on your defaulters list moreover you've updated my detail with CIBIL as well and i am not complaining about that.. I would like to assure , the day i have enough of money i would walk to your main branch and will pay off the due amount.

The reason why i am sending this email is to bring the following instance to your notice. This happend yesterday early morning when i was sleeping and got a call from Mr. Venkatesh ( phone # [protected] ) not sure if his original name is acutally Venktesh. He said he is calling from ICICI bank and would like to check when i would pay off the due amount ... I told him that i've got some financial issue coz of which i stopped making payment... he said its been two year since i stopped making payment and whenever they call i give the same reason.So this person asked me if i am having proper food and shelter atleast ... i told him yes i am having proper food and shelter ... so he said he just checked as i keep saying i've got some financial issue ... he then asked me if i am having proper food or something else as food which was really SARCASTIC way of talking to a person whom you don't even know ...So i told him to mind his language and for that he said if you having something else apart from normal food come to Bomanahalli as ICICI are offering free meals to poor everyday... and i disconnected the call as this person literally started shouting on call... Requesting you to speak this person and GIVE A STRONG FEEDBACK as how to talk to a person over the phone ... He might be doing his work but he need to understand the fact that he is talking to a person over the phone... who does have self respect and emotions just like any other person ..
As i've mentioned earlier the day i've got enough of money i will pay off the due amount and will intimate you guys .... Also requesting you to ask these third party collection agency to stop calling me as they are very unprofessional on call.
