[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Senior Citizen Interest-

Madam

I have my saving account iwith a Flexi Fixed deposit n your Vile parle east branch since last 15 years.I became a Senior Citizen from 2nd July 2009.Every time my FD is renewed , I am not getting the extra half percent interest as applicable to senoir citizen account.Aftet repeated complaints the rate of interest is changed , but the maturity amount is not changed.
I have lodged n number of complaints , but none of your officers want to apply their mind and go to the root cause of the problem. I think you do not have competant officers , who work for the customers interest.It is a really sorry state of affairs.

I refer to the talk I had with you this morning.

Again the same mistake has been committed while renewing the FDS,s.The details are as below .

FD No. Amount Deposited Rate of Interest Maturity amy. Date of maturity

[protected] 1,42,158.00 6.5 % 1,52,301.00 19.01.2010

[protected] 32, 483.00 6.5 % 34,801.00 10.01.2010

[protected] 58,482.00 6.5 % 62,665.00 17.01.2010

As a Senior citizen, I am eligible to get extra Half Percent interest.

Kindly change the rate of interst and the maturity amount.

I fail to understand that your techinical team cannot handle such a small problem. Your siftware engineer should modify the programme.

Please let me know whether I should close all my accounts with ICICI bank, as my problem is not being solved for the past four months.

I refer to the talk I had with you this morning.

Please see the attached file giving the list of FD's renewed after 2nd July 2009, when I became eligible for Senior Citizen benefit of additional 0..5 % interest.

No doubt you have time and again changed the rate of interest after my repeated complaints ,as applicable to Senior Citizen without changing the maturity amount.

Please look into the following querries and revert back.

1. Rate of interest has been changed from Oct.12, 2009, hence please ensure that correct rate of interest is applied and correct maturity amount is reflected in the statement.

2. Prior to Oct.2009, the rate of interest against Sr .No. 1, 8,9 10 is shown as 7.25 % . Is it correct or should it be 7.75 % ?

3.Sr No 6,and 7 is showing 7.75 % interest. Should it be 8.00 %

4. Please check and correct the rate of interest and maturity amount.
