[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Saving bank account

Dear Sir,

>I am very sad to write this mail for customer service of ICICI bank, I am holding S/B account[protected] since last 10 years with ICICI but i never faced such big hurdles in account operation.

>Bank has also granted me the flexi Cash facility vide other account[protected] which is linked to this account.

>I am operating this Flexi cash account since one year.I received a letter from Bank for non renewal of account. I agreed to that and written a mail to customer care for clarification on repayment of outstanding since i am salaried person and cant pay single amount of Rs. 80000/- in 10 days notice.

>Customer care after two reminders reverted that i should visit the Branch i did that also twice but nobody helped me and asked me to contact personal loan account since they are not aware about the product.

>On last friday i got shocked when i was trying to withdraw Rs. 2000/-money from ATM from my account[protected]having a clear balance of Rs. 15000/- as on date)my transaction declined with a comment that insufficient fund in account. I have to go doctor and needed money badly that point of time i had no option how to manage the same.I faced this problem only because of irresponsiblity of ICICI bank officer.

>Worst part of the incident come when i contacted the customer care on[protected] on same day but my call avoided with comment that it is related to Loan department and now it is 8 0'Clock so nobody is there to look into your problem, why bank guarnatee for 24x 7 services.

>I called up next morning but i found that there are nobody in the call cneter who knows the product, they were transfering my call to Saving account---salary account---corporate salary a/c---perosnal loan account----saving account, some one told me to call 1153 and other one 1135.. why peoples are so irresponsible.

>I hold the call for 35 minutes and result was nil, i was very upset instead of having sufficient bal in account i am begging money from others.

>I am attaching herewith letter which i have received from ICICI on 8th Sept 08 with instruction of non issue of cheques from this account[protected].

>I am using my saving acount for all purposes, if account show the fund insufficient fund status instead of having sufficient fund will not be acceptable.

Y dont you use call recorder in your phone while calling customer care...
Sometime ago, I found myself in ICICI fraud...
I called many times to thier cutomer care departmen..but they were not listening... One time i used call recorder and recorder all their suggestions and thier rude behaviour...
After listening their own voice they resoved all matter within a few days...
Record watever they say and go to consumer care, , , or AWAAJ channel... or media...
dnt trust them they will not solve your problem...they already have about 32000 unresolved issues...
Just gather the suffiecient proof and go to media or consumer form...
and one suggestion before taking any new service from any company read carefully their rule and regulations...
I am holding ICICI savings (salary) a/c. Few days back, they offered me the FlexiCash Overdraft facility. Without knowing much details, I agreed and signed the application form and submitted the same. Now, it is in the verification process. But after going through these useful complaints, I would like to cancel it immediately. Please suggest me that my decision is right? And how will I approach for doing the same. Thanks in advance.

My account no. is[protected], i deposited a cheque of aprox.Rs 5lacks, for clearence., on 9th of jan 2009 which was of state bank of india(muktsar) till now i don't know the whereabouts of my cheque, every time i go the bank, there is a new story the employees tell me. the female staff posted in sec 35-C is not at all co-operative, they answer u back as i[censored] have done eveteasing, i[censored] go and ask them any querry regarding your account. the manager over there says, 'NOT MY PROBLEM', kindly do something regarding my problem, and mend the ways of your employees posted in 35-c branch, chandigarh.

I agree with their indifferent behaviour. I suggest we should all migrate to HDFC or SBI.Also I would like to warn all the account holder having quantum optima account with ICICI

This is ICICI new trick to generate revenues. If you have Quantum Optima account and you are supposed to maintain QAB ( quarterly average balance) of Rs. 10000/ it means QAB of Rs.10000/ available balance and does not account for linked FD balance. In my case I had maintained average of Rs.15000/ on total available balance ( i.e vailable balance and linked FD balance) in third month I had to withdraw Rs.18000/ and the FD had to be broken but the total available balance as well as available balance dropped to about Rs.2000/ for the third month. While working out QAB my total available balance of Rs.15000/ for two months was not considered and as a result the QAB worked out to be less than Rs.10000/. This is another ICICI trick. BEWARE
