ICICI Credit Cards — Unreasonable Charges and non settlement | |
Hi, I am Anand, I had a credit card of ICICI Bank from which I had made a last purchase in 2003, the approx outstanding due on my card at that time was approx 20000/. Since then I have been paying an min amt of approx Rs 2000/- per month which was an auto debit to my savings account. Since 6 years I have paid approx 100000/- and the outstanding still remains. I had asked for settlements in 2007 and 2008 and nobody from the bank bothered to turnup or respond. While they have been happily debitting my account as nobody's business and they have included my name in CIBIL as negative. This has hampered all my loan prospects. This is a real kill for a consumer and how come RBI and all other regulators allow such kind of gory practices from banks like ICICI. No sooner the so called defaulters in the CIBIL list will be like the debt ridden farmers who keep on paying all their lives. CAN WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT COLLECTIVELY, LIKE A PROTEST OR FILING A PIL. THESE BANKS SHOULD BE TAUGHT A LESSON Was this information helpful? | |
