[Resolved] ICICI Credit Cards — Financial Charges for unapproved transaction | |
Hello, Am Satish.K credit card customer of ICICI bank, my credit card # [protected]. On 10.07.2007 I called the ICICI customer care and requested to stop all the future payments to 4 utility bills and I was given an SR # 30661759. There after ICICI had done a payment of Rs.1992.00 on 19.07.2007 to LIC for 1of the policy which was requested to stop. As per ICICI utility bill payment terms & conditions any payment can be stopped before 7 days. On 22.08.2008 I called the ICICI customer care to check why is the payment done even after stop payment request and they said the transaction will be reversed and this would be the same as done earlier in my account on 23.12.2006 & I need not pay ICICI and ICICI would reverse the transaction and settle with LIC. On 19.09.2007 first time I was charged with Interest & service tax on it, I called ICICI customer care and explained the entire tale behind the transaction and they reversed the charges on 28.09.2007. Similarly on 21.09.2007 ICICI had charged over limit charges (exceeding the card limits) and Service tax on it, I called ICICI customer care and explained the entire tale and they reversed the charges on 05.10.2007. Every month calling the customer care to explain what had happened and getting the charges reversed was very complicated and telephone charges was too expensive, than me meeting the concerned officer in LIC. I approached LIC in November, 2007 and they confirmed about the duplicate payment done by ICICI to LIC policy and they said it would be adjusted to the future dues if there are no claims from ICICI bank. After confirmation from LIC for adjusting the duplicate payment towards the policy due on Jan’2008 I paid Rs.1992 with other purchase amount to ICICI, total payment on 08.02.2008 Rs.6775.12. By then every month I was charged with Interest and Service tax on it for non payment of Rs.1992. I again called ICICI customer care on 31.03.2008 and explained the entire tale that had happened and the executive was helpless and he said he can only pass the waiver on the previous bill and suggested to contact customer.[protected]@ICICIBANK.COM Even they are unable to pass waiver and requested to make me the complete payment to avoid further financial charges.
