ICICI Lombard Car Insurance — amount deducted before car purchase without my permission | |
Hi i applied for icici car loan the executive told me that without taking insurance from icici lombard i wont get loan approved,i was also offered free insurance from car dealer,icici person said he will handle the issue and i have to take the insurance from icici,later i come to know that he was telling me lie,so i said him not to put my check for debit and return me the same i dont need insurance form icici,i spoke to lombard manager also he said he will send my check in two days i trusted him,but he debited my cheque ,if i dnt have a car how can he charge me for car insurance,car is yet to delever to me,so no chasis number no RTO registration and i have been charged 11221 for insurance of a car whcih i dont own yet cheque number:387681 icici bank ,pune Was this information helpful? | |

We applied (renewed)for my car insurance from 27th nov 2007 to 2008 and paid Rs. 5108/- from ABN Amro bank card for the year from 27th Nov 2007 to 2008.But icici lombard car insurance co fail to issue us insurance policy we mail to the co on 10th may 2008 for policy. But they refuse to issue policy.In the mean time my car took accident and we pay Rs. 18450/- for repairing and again we loose the no claim bonus 35 % of Rs.6228/- insurance charges for the year from 27th nov 2008 to 2009. You are requested to consider the case and arange to issue us total amount Rs. 5108+Rs18450/- + Rs 2180/- Total Rs 25737.80.
