[Resolved] ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — SURRENDER PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED | |||
Dear Customer Grievance Redressal Officer: Pl refer to your acknowledgment of process of surrender of policy No.06026820. The policy surrender documents were received by ICICI on 20th April 2011. It's already 18 days of receipt of all documents at your end and payment is yet to be released. Along with the policy bond I was asked to submit a canceled cheque of my Bank account. However, I later received a sms from ICICI Pru saying that the transaction was rejected by my bank without stating any reasons whatsoever, and now the surrender payment in the form of DD would be delivered at my postal address within 4 days. When after 10 days, I could finally inquire with the customer care executives, I got the Docket no., and tracking the docket no at Blue Dart I get the ultimate shock to know that it has been returned to origin, i.e., ICICI Prudential’s Mumbai Office. My Complaint No. is: 34094261. I ask for an explanation for all the wayward practices. The policies were surrendered to meet an emergency expense and it is still not settled by ICICI Prudential. Pl refer to your acknowledgement of process of surrender of policy No.03561563 and 08766330. The policy surrender documents were received by ICICI on 2nd August It's already 37 days of receipt of all documents at your end and payment is yet to be released.
I keep receiving sms from ICICI saying that the claim is under process.
The policies were surrendered to meet an emergency expense and it is still not settled by ICICI Prudential even after 37 days.
