[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd. — Outgoing Barred

Idea Mobile - [protected] (Prepaid Customer - Outgoing Barred) - From 10th March 2011.

Reason: Identity proof - Not submitted (Govt new regulation). Got SMS alerts as well.
Note: I took this connection in 2007 after submitting all the required proof & this connection was active for approx 4 years.

I am always ready to submit the required proofs (soft copy / hard copy), but need an assurance that again resubmissions of proof will not be repeatedly asked by Idea next time for this connection - [protected].
If this is repeated next time - Idea needs to show me the proofs that I had submitted earlier (during taking the connection & also resubmissions done hence forth) & a valid reason - why those proofs are not accepted?

1. Idea has to keep the customer documents safe, rather than requesting for the same again after 3-4 years time o[censored]sage.

2. If this is govt new rule this has to be applicable for other service provider’s as well.
I have other connections taken for spouse & parents (Airtel, Reliance, Videocon etc) which does not ask for such resubmission of proof.

3. Idea nearest showroom / retail shop should accept the proof & activate the connection immediately, rather than communicating to customers that the connection will be activated after 72 hours.

I submitted the softcopy of the proof via email to ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com on Thursday, March 17, 2011 6:38:27 PM - Outgoing Calls Still not activated.
Went to Submit the hardcopy on Friday March 18, 2011 - Idea Showroom, Manappurath Building, Padamugal Junction, Kakkanad - 682 021. Hardcopy not accepted, Reason - Hardcopy needs to be submitted @ head office - Mercy Estate, Ravipuram, Cochin.
Are all hardcopy of the proofs in Kerala circle submitted in Mercy Estate, Ravipuram, Cochin, in that case a person in Thiruvanathapuram / Palakkad also should submit the proof is Mercy Estate, Ravipuram, Cochin. Is that so?

Hardcopy submitted to Idea Showroom, Manappurath Building, Padamugal Junction, Kakkanad - 682 021 on Friday March 18, 2011 - Outgoing Calls Still not activated.

Today date is 23rd March 2011 - Outgoing Calls Still not activated. I have been waiting for more than 72 hours now. Why is it taking too long to have this outgoing connection activated.
