I bought Executive Plus machine #122378 in Lucknow on May 24, 2006. Until March 2008, they promptly attended to complaints. I have no problem with the machine, which I am maintaining as per manual and service instructions. It is in excellent condition. They came in May trying to sell their AMC at a prohibitive rate, which I could not afford. I would be better off with a general insurance for machine breakdown that paying such prohibitive rates to IFB contractees. However, I requested their visiting engineer to deliver me four packets of Descal. Having failed to deliver despite reminders for two months, I asked their senior engineer to deliver as I was unable to get through to their call center. After he too failed to deliver, I managed to get through their call center about a fortnight back and booked an order #45917 for just two packets of Descal and informing them of my predicament with the engineers. That too has not helped. Today, I complained online via their feedback and have also booked online the same Descal with FABO. Again, earlier Ariel Ultramatic was the recommended detergent. Last year, Ariel discontinued Ultramatic and came out with Funomatic the soapy smell of which does not leave the clothes and does not seem to have any enzymes worth the name in it. These guys then recommended Heinkomatic, which is no better. Both, Funomatic and Heinkomatic that cost Rs. 150/kg, sticks in the detergent tray. With no proper detergent available in the market for front loading washing machines, I would not advise anybody to purchase a front loading washing machine at this time.
