I have purchased an IFB Digital EX washing m/c from the showroom at Karnal on 22nd Oct 2009. They informed me the m/c will reach at your address ie D-9, NDRI, Karnal. The m/c was sent at about 8 pm, it was sent by a rickshaw puller. He informed me the Engineer will come tomorrow. The Engineer came at 7 pm next day. He set the m/c for leveling on a trolly he brought for Rs. 990/-. There was electric cut at that time. So he told me how to start with. I asked about the operation manual, he informed that all manuals have been distributed he will collect from head office and will provide one to me next time then he left for his home. Next morning I tried to start the m./c the pannel was not responding much. I have to force open the front door by pulling the string at the bottom. Beeing a computer and electronic harware professional some how I managed the washing which took around 3 hours. I called upon the engineer he came at 7pm again to me checked the m/c and informed that the machine was demo piece and it needs the front pannel to be replaced. For that he advised me to log a complaint online or tollfree customer care. The showroom should have sent me a fresh m/c not the demo-piece without my concent. Was this information helpful? |
