On 6th Jan 2013, we registered a complaint with the customer care centre of IFB of malfunctioning of the washing machine. We didn’t receive any response from the IFB Delhi center. Though we enquired daily (since 6 Jan) from the customer care about the fate of our complaint, every time they replied they are forwarding the complaint to the senior executive without any results. They also didn’t give the telephone no. of the senior executives. At last, when we contacted the Delhi office on 12th of Jan, they replied that they have not received the aforesaid complaint till date. We gave them the registered complaint No. 10353448 and expressed our urgency; even then they sent the mechanic on 15th of Jan after promising that they will rectify it on Saturday itself. Anyhow he informed us that the software plate is not working and we asked him to change the same. On 16th he replaced the software plate. Again when we started the machine, it stopped midway and didn’t complete the cycle and we contacted the Delhi centre again and informed them the machine is still not working. And for two to three days, they keep on pretending that they don’t have the requisite part and helpless. After lot of pleading and making nos. of calls, we managed to get the part replaced (pump) on 20th Jan.
Whereas we understand that the fault was with the pump of the machine not with the software. So he wrongly changed the software that too was used one, charging us Rs. 4400/- approx. And it took 14 days to address the complaint after lot of pleading.
So we request the amount wrongly charged to us should be refunded and we should also be compensated for the agony and hardship we have suffered for all these 14 days.
We also sent bill receipt to customer care email address but they didnt reply even after a long days of the complaint submission.. Was this information helpful? |
