Very poor after sales Service. There was some problem in one ‘touch pad key’ of IFB Microwave (though ideally it should not happen in IFB MW). I complained one month back (complaint no. 4066996 Date 26/01/20010). Then followed two three times on phone then only a technician came. Initially I was told it’s a small problem and would be repaired by the technician at the site. Technician came and told a part is required which will cost 2000/- (I bought MW in 5000/-). Later when I said its expensive and I need bill he said it will cost 700 – 800/- and he will get it in five days. Then no information either from technician or IFB for a month.
Then again I complained five days back (complaint no. 4144769 Date 15/02/2010) but still no response from anyone. I will wait for few more days…. Was this information helpful? |
IFB MICROWAVE — Lack of response
I have lodged a complaint vide ref no. 2151255 on 5.9.08 at 13.45 hrs with the Service Centre of IFB, at Bangalore . The microwave is under warranty and it is just 4 months old !On 6th Sept, one of the service technicians visited and stated that certain components needs to be replaced (which would be done in the next couple of days). Even after 10 days of my lodging compaint and persistent follow up with the service centre, I am yet to get a resolve to the problems. The Service centre staff has no clue on the timelines to close this complaint.
I fail to understand the the attitute of the biggies like IFB .
towards the customer service.
I would urge through consumercomplaints.com that someone responsible from IFB headquarter understand the concerns and redress the same without any further delay.
