[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Timer problem

Even i agreed, i am also encountering the same problem (timer problem). But they are asking 4500 rs to change the timer from service engineer provided by the IFB customer care service.

hai every one. last month we have informed to ifb service center (tirupati) our washing machine is not working please come and rectify the problem. from that day to till[protected] date they are not responding to our complaint. so that i am putting complaint to consumer complaints.

This should be noted as a super complaint. We have registered a complaint with your call center since last 6 weeks. Constant following up by my wife mrs rashmi singh but no avail. Unresponsive and unresponsible can sum it up that too when we have recently renewed our amc with ifb. We are without a machine for the above period as we need to get clothes hand washed. Why do ifb sell amc when they cannot service. Everytime you call the contact center they say they dont have parts, cant be an excuse for a running product where you are actively selling amc. The display has not been working therefore rendering the washing machine un-operatable. I am beginning to regret buying an ifb just on account of endless follow up one needs to do to get things fixed.

If this does not resolve very soon i will have no choice but to see the next stage of escalation.

You are lucky that timer has to be repaced in 14 months. I am being forced to replace the timer every 3 months. I have already replaced the timer 3 times and the timer has again stopped working.

Today we replaced the timer it costed 2400 including the service charges by no ifb technician. Ifb elena model, the spinner stopped working in the 4th year. Ifb wash quality is not good but the body is solid exactly reverse for whirlpool my second machine.

No use with ifb machine.. It takes 2hrs to complete the washing process for every single program even everything is perfectly connected. Why are these many programs in washing machine when it is taking same time for all those programs. If it is not fixed the product will be utterflop in future.

Can IFB let me know the cost of timer for executive plus model? Also let me know the cost of the switch replacement for the door?

I never knew that IFB parts would be so expensive after the expiry of warranty. IFB does not disclose the price of its parts and warranty on replaced parts. I called their customer service to find out the price of the parts and warranty and they told me that they don't have it. They advised me to call their National Head Retail to find out the price of parts.

My timer having issue for 1 day, it changes automatically after some time og washing . Even while spinning it changes time 8, 7 many times.
Also its to much noisy. Did complaints but they say that much noise will cone
