Gave E-Mail regarding failure of my Automatic Washing Machine to IFB customer support on 11th Jan 2010.
Very next day their representative from Hosur (M/S.Lisanth Appliance Services) sent their personnel for attending the problem.
They told that drum got failed and they had to take the M/C to their Work shop as it was not possible to replace the drum here.
I had to pay Rs.1000/= as advance and Rs.280/= as transportation charges. They promised me to deliver back the machine after 2 days' time, but I did not hear any thing from them even after 10 days.
After making so many reminders over phone they delivered the machine atlast on 26.01.2010(After 16 Days). I was told that Drum was in good condition and only the Bearings and Oil seals were gone. Again I paid Rs.200/= as transportation charge and Rs.930/= as balance service charge - (Total Rs.1930/=,As per their Invoice No:029 dtd.,26.01.2010).But with in 30 minutes of operation M/C stopped, tripping off main MCB. Water found leaking from the bottom(Beneath Washing drum) of the machine.
When I contacted the owner of the service centre he asked me to switch off the heater and run the machine. When I did so again the same problem occured.
Yesterday(27.01.2010), I asked him over phone to come and attend the problem.
But up till now no body has come. He is not even bothered about my concerns over this matter. Our clothes got stuck inside the machine.
Now, he is not even attending my phone calls.
Please intervene and find a solution to my above problem.
