[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine Elena Dx — The worst customer service

I bought the IFB washing machine Elena DX on 23rd January 2009 at Pondicherry. It was installed at our Chennai house on 21st February. But the IFB service man who installed it mentioned the installation date as 21.01.2009. How could they install the machine before buying? We called the customer care so many times but no answer.
The 2nd big issue is that the machine is leaking, when we switch on the machine, in 15 mins our house will float in water. The Customer care is completely useless. The so called customer care representatives like Radha, Viji, Fatima are totally Useless. They won’t give any information. If anyone gives some information, the other will say it is not true. They will totally mess up everything. They don’t know telephone etiquettes. They don’t have common sense indeed.
Finally one day an IFB service man came in April and verified. He said the rubber sheet is damaged and the machine is under warranty, it will be replaced shortly.
We have called the customer care on [protected], [protected], [protected] more than 20 to 30 times. The representatives wont pick up the call if you call them b/w 9am to 11 am. If you call them by 1.00 pm they will say they are in lunch. If you call them by 5.00pm they say there is no stock currently and they don’t know when the stock will be available. They will say this for 1 month. If you still have patients to call them. Please do talk to their manager. He will also tell the same thing.
COMPLETELY USELESS!
In contrast we have Airtel broadband. We had a problem in connecting and given a call to them. On the same day they are chasing us for troubleshooting as we were at office that time. They have corrected it on the same day. We are happy about their service.
