MY IFB machine is in AMC and some one month back i complained regarding problem of drum making noise and hitting sound during the start and stop of Spinning. Than I had called the IFB customer care Toll free no.[protected] and lodged a Complaint ID No. 6902841. One Technician was sent, but he did not solve the problem and just informed that spares are not available for drum bushing/ will come from Chennai.
When reported again to the customer care regarding the same complaint, I was surprised to know that the complaint is closed and claimed that problem is solved, without customer’s knowledge??? !!!
Is this above a routine procedure in your company which claims as ISO-9001 certified???
Customer care person always gives a complaint no. and the franchise person does not care about the customer’s problem, always promises to send the person in next 2 working days and does not send... If at all, sends an untrained serviceman at his will, whims and fancies.
I was given mobile number [protected] of Manager Mr Manikanand to talk, but he was not receiving the call. It is unfortunate that such an irresponsible procedure / method is employed...
I need my machine to work for washing the dirty cloths, which are piling up since around one month and also a huge washing bill. COULD YOU PLEASE CLARIFY why a company of your repute is defaulting on its service and how you can compensate me for my mental agony, financial loss and inconvenience. I am totally displeased with the kind of service provided by IFB through it’s franchised service centers and the kind of technicians the franchise owner employ..
I request you to look into the above matter and take necessary action soon before I become frustrated and knock the door of consumer court.

Senator IFB — Horrible sound while rotating
I am residing at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. IFB Senator model washing machine was purchased. Our problems started the day one I had purchased the unit. I had sent amount with the help of which I could have purchased another one more unit. I had to wait for couple of months to get the service. I contacted concerned person at Tirupathi who deputed technician to our residence. He said that the problem is with the bearings and accordingly he changed the parts and charged Rs.1500. Like this I should have paid for couple of times. Now they say it is the problem of drum. We are not many in number and there are no kids to meddle with the machine. Last before year I entered into AMC and they didn't pay any visit. It is also delicate to make such repeated calls. Sometimes they respond while the cell phones will be off or out of coverage area. I am really frustrated. I think customer care is important for any concern. Please reflect and do something for the long pending problem
