[Resolved]  Iffco Tokio — DELAY OF INSURANCE CLAIM AMOUNT.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I had purchased a commercial Indica car for earning purpose, finance by Reliance capital – Oct’2007 at the time of purchasing cash amount was given to

Guru kripa (An agency of Reliance capital) also for Insurance policy from Reliance General insurance. Later after 3 months I came to know that cheque was bounce from agent side, which was given for car insurance. I had received original cover note from Reliance General Insurance, which was not valid any more. After that I again purchased a Insurance policy from IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance co. Ltd. for my same commercial car DL IY B 1775. Between the valid period of my Insurance policy from IFFCO –TOKIO car got accident at the time of accident vendor( where I had given on hire) did not inform me for such accident and original document was in car box also original insurance cover note of Reliance General insurance on basis of all that he did put accidental car to service center Pawa Motor Wazirpur Ind. Area. Where they treated on basis of available documents. Later after 45days. When Vendor stopped to give me monthly hiring money and inform me for such accident. when I asked why not informed me at the same time, vendor told me that you may get panic , now car is ready and we will get soon but I told him bounce cheque history of Reliance cheque for available original cover note Insurance policy and confirmed that valid IFFCO-TOKIO policy is with me.

Then on basis of original cover note issued by Reliance General Insurance Pawa Motor treated but now Reliance General Insurance is not ready to pay claim amount. I did call more than 80 times to surveyor (Mr. Mukesh Mehndiratta) but he did not pick my call, through a another person I requested to transfer my all valid document to IFFCO- TOKIO for claim clearance as it’ was been 4 months after many request surveyor sent all concern documents to IFFCO-TOKIO but as policy was issued from INDORE (M.P), I got connected to customer care no. [protected] more than 25 times. I called after 3 months when payment was not received by me yet as every time customer care executive promise me that your claim is ready will reach you soon may be after 40 days.

After doing many follow up when I did not receive any claim amount I became de-motivate from IFFCO-TOKIO. It’ was passed 9 month of car accident. After 9 months I lost my job too I had not fund to provide monthly installment of rs.9625/- pm to Reliance Capital. I received call to make monthly installment with using wrong word then I did explain to caller that this is the problem and car is at service center not running on road also I have lost my job due to re-cession so I am not able to make payment any more. After some time again I received call Mr. Prashant from Reliance capital I told him all my situation then he told me that I am manager level person, we have cancelled our Agency Guru kripa as they have taken cash from you and did bounce cheque and due to same you are in trouble and gave me confidence to get it clear the claim amount on requesting to me to pay at least 4 installment (Rs.9625*4 ) out of 6-7 bounce installment as if I will make payment on request of him he would force Reliance General Insurance team to get it clear very soon as why they did issue original cover note to be sure from customer side that his Insurance policy is valid.

I borrowed rs.40000/- on interest from my friend to pay due installment and hopping to get my car on road. I paid 5 installment after being accident of my car, being in confidence that I have paid money for both policy Reliance and IFFICO-TOKIO but after making payment of 5 installment still I did not receive any claim amount from any Insurance company.

And then Reliance Capital picked my commercial car DL 1Y B 1775 from Service Center Pawa Motor and sue a case for balance amount of car approx 1.95 Lakh. Which I was unable to pay and requested a lawyer to help on basis of that I need not any money from any one but I am not able to pay a single rupees as I am elder in my family and I have to care for them. I did many visit to Pawa Motor to get it confirm that Reliance Capital have paid claim amount and then they have picked my car after payment. while helping they also threat to sue legal case for their due unpaid amount . After 1 year case was disposed off from Saket court and Lawyer told me that you need not to give and take from Reliance Capital and now case is closed but not provide any written note.


The problem is again Reliance Capital have claimed balance amount after selling my car only for rs.85000.00 due amount they have claimed ( Rs.105000.00+ 14.5% interest) else they would take moveable goods from my home . And till now after confirmation from IFFCO-TOKIO customer care they are still saying that case is closed as amount of rs.70000/- is ready to payment against my claim amount 105000 , which is I am listing from starting. Now again today 03.05.2011 connected to IFFCO-TOKIO for the same they demand written from Reliance General Insurance for reason of such delay while as per their initially requirement , required document has been sent my surveyor to IFFCO-TOKIO.

No-One is ready to help and telling to not explain above bore story again and again, while from last 2 years unable to sleep well and been de-motivate to suicide.

Would request you on being down by my knee to help me out from this critical situation, as I do not have any way to make such big payment instead of suicide. Please help me.

Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd./Reliance Motor Car Policy — Claim of Policy is not cleared since 7 Months.

Dear Sir.

I am Anil Arora. R/0 1030/8, Mehrauli, New Delhi. My Car Santro No. DL7CJ 4653 has been theft in Noida on 16th April 2009. I had the Motor Insurance from Reliance General Insurance CO. Ltd. I have submitted all the required documents to Reliance and I have confirmation email from them also. Now it is 4 Months to submit all the documents to them. I am regularly doing follow up with them for the Claim Amount but they are really not giving the proper response and My Claim NO. [protected].

getting claim of my theft Santro Car No. 4653. I have
submitted all required documents in the month of june and
since then I am waiting for the claim Amount.

I have called many times to their ustomer care no. and speak
with Jai, Rahul, Puja etc., and they always confirmed me
that the they have received the confirmation from the Claim
Manager that all the required documents have taken from me
and the claim is in process and would be cleared with in a
week time. Even their CSR assured me many times that I
will get the calll from their Claim Manager but I never recieve any call from the
the Claim Manager. and the CSR has given me the NO.
of Delhi Claim Manager[protected] but nobody picks this no.
I have visited Claim Branch, OKhla New Delhi. Many
times but I never receive any proper answer from the Claim
Manager.
Please help me to getting the claim amt. asap
