i got a postal mail, regarding reader's digest membership, 445 rs for one full year, also declaring 3 stars(stars means free gifts), lucky draw for a car also...it is required to send it back in nwedelhi adress within 14 days...is ir real o cheating????????can anyone help me???

Cheque as soon as u purchase & u will be eligible for
max.12 Lakhs lucky draw & all soft copy doc. will be
there in ur mail as u punch ur credit card.)

2.If, u purchase a Longue Watch - 29, 000/= (You r eligible for platinum category & will receive a cheque of
Rs.2 Lakhs & u will be eligible for 40 lakhs lucky draw)
3.If, u purchase a Playing box - 17, 500/= (You r eligible for gold category & will receive 1.5 Lakhs as soon

Sir, after hearing these things from the executive i told him that the registration is in the name of my uncle Mr. Amarnath Chakraborty, so i need to consult with him & then proceed & told him to give me a call back at 6 pm, by the time i found some doubt & took the of help line frm him.
Inbetween what i did, i called up in this help line no. & asked that is there any offer for sweepstakes 60 lakhs going on for India today, they replied yes but there is no such assurance that after u purchase the above individual goods u will get the amount like 1 lakh or 1.5 or 2 lakhs.Moreover there was no such comparison of the words frm the help line, customer care & these sales executive team. And, at last the customer care Mr. Kapil said me that pls do not purchase any goods from these India Today people by credit card.

Sir, is India Today is doing the right thing towards the customer i dont believe so .If, possible please do take necessary action.

I too accepted the offer, got a call from India Today, the mobile phone discount offer, the sweepstakes via email, the books I bought for Rs.500/- and other exciting offers, like holidays and what not. But being myself a little less on cash, I didn't have much to buy, so the offers stop coming to me and today I still wonder whether it is just a profitable sale to mess with us or a real one.

-its a spam mail.

The results for this sweepstake was about to declare in the month of Dec 09 but i have not received any dates or the result after that,
