[Resolved] Indian Railways — parking fees

Sir,
At Ernakulam Junction, the contractor is charging excess parking fees. he had deployed goons and thugs who doesnt have uniform or proper id cards for the same. Parking fees prescribed by railways is depicted. However they are charging excessive fees. For 1 hour railways had prescribed fees of Rs2 for a motor bike. However theese goons are demanding Rs 5 or even Rs 10 for the same. While questioned they charged against me. A RPF officer was witness for the same. His timely action saved me from these goons. He further requested me to file a complaint to Station Master. They have even printed Rs 5 as parking charges for two hours, even the board depicting the parking fees by railways recommend only Rs 2.

Dear Sir,

I have been parking my vehicle at Trivandrum central railway station regularly for the last 4 months or so.There is provision for monthly pass for vehicles parked on daily basis.Even there is seperate parking space for those Vehicles

I asked the same to the contractor but he denied the same stating there is no longer provision for monthly pass.

But i feel he is cheating the consumers & thereby extracting huge profits .Kindly help

dear sir,
I'm from Ujjain city , and my complaint is in refrence to our Railway station parking stand.

they charge more amount from customers
and give slip of 1 or 2 rupees less then what they actually charged
and slips are also 2 years old

when i ask them about it , they said "new slips are not generated yet"

what should i do,
because i used to go railway station very often

who is culprit in this case
railway admin. or stand

Per day it cost 240/- awesome parking!!!! If somebody parking his Car for a month, it will cost 7200 !! ! !

Dear sir or madam
I have been parking my Honda Dio at Whitfield raliway parking. the contractor charging 30 rs pet day but what is showed on board is 10 rs. He is charging 3times higher but when we ask he shows some notice printed in Kannada(I can't read)with 50rs per day . When wr ask these things they gather as gang n shout on us.it is bad kindly take action.

Sir,
Please note that no shelter is provided in the car parking area of Palakkad Railway Station, and vehicles are completely covered and damaged by faeces. But they are very particular to collect charges if parking time is exceeded by even half an hour. Is there any provision to reduce charges until shelter is provided?

Rs ₹ 10/-, per one hour. Scooter & motorcycle.
Incharge is collecting RS 15/-
Pay 10 rupees but he rudely taken my motorcycle keys...
Nothing is there one get also not that fencing also not the if you'll if we lose the bike also no one is not responsible.
You taken only stupid contract with rupees of 55 lacs, but in paper it's only 18 lacschange only... Person who decided RS10 rupees he is a bloody...

Tomorrow onward I'll park my bike & all friends... I don't pay single penny for your stupid...

There is no system of issuing receipts for any penalty paid in bengaluru city railway station parking slot. Penalty was issued for Losing a token, but the employee there did not issue receipt for the same. When will the system be organised in india. They just took randomly 150/- and let people go. Such a bad practice. No objection if legally penalty is levied but no receipt shows illegal practice.

Dear Sir,
If one person Park a cycle in no parking Jones and willing to give fine as per rules then how much amount he gives, and for getting fine amount receipt he have to wait for 8 hours. Otherwise he have to go head quater of the railway station

Dear Sir,

I have been parked my two wheeler in kumbakonam (KMU) railway station too much parking cost they are charged per day parking charge was Rs.30. I have been parked three days they are charged Rs.90 and advance fees of Rs.10 also. Its nearest station of Thanjavur (TJ) parking charge per day 10 rs only. I am already complaint with Station Master but he dont take action. So pls take the action immediately. So many people suffer from this too much higher parking charge. I hope this administration take severer action and give the good result. Thanking you

Dear railway authorities
I have booked train ticket for rs 172 from Kannur to Ernakulam. Unfortunately I parked my car in railway parking area for 2 days they charge me 215 rs .why are u charging this much fee .u all central government doesn't need to pay parking fee .we know u don't understand our feeling .better to travel autorickshaw instead of parking our own vehicle.kindly open your eyes as common man or like a retired central govt staff. Hope u will understand.i will never park my vehicle in railway area any more.
