[Resolved] Irctc — Deducted extra money from my bank account | |||
I booked a ticket on 8 feb 2011 through internet banking using SBI accont, the ticket charges were deducted from my account at same the time. But after one day i.e. 9 feb 2011again Rs 10 was deducted from my account showing "TO TRANSFER INB Commission of IG[protected] IG40599080IG40755883 TRANSFER TO [protected] SBI IRCTC COMMISION A/". What is This? Refund my money as possible as and do provide me the details amount the deduction of the amount after one day for the transaction made a day earlier. Why its happened? I, Mr.Alok Ranjan Pattanaik would like submit a complaint against IRCTC that they have deducted Rs.20 extra from my bank account.
To Be more specific, I had booked two railway e-tickets of pnr no. [protected] and [protected] on 3rd sep 2010 by online ticket booking on www.irctc.co.in with my username alok726.I have had used sbi online payment gateway for payment of the booked tickets.They have deducted Rs.480 and Rs.960 instantly for each ticket.Then the very next day I checked online banking account statement which says that irctc has deducted Rs.10 more for some kind of commission twice. They didn't noticed me anything before and they didn't mail me of why they have charged me when I had already made the payments of booked tickets.

SBI Bank — EXTRA MONEY DEDUCTION
Dear sir,I m ARUN KUMAR (A/C No.-[protected]).Yesterday(6-1-11) I had used my DEBIT CARD in CHANDNI CHOWK's IDBI BANK's ATM at app-16:23 for 1000 rs.

I have also been a victim of the same problem. I believe this is banks commission. IRCTC, i believe would not charge commission twice for the same thing. in any case this should have been included in the original payment transaction itself and a person is not expected to pay as much as rs 30 extra than the ticket price purchased from a railway counter for using a online method of ticket purchase. Even if one is charged this extra amount as commission why should he not be informed beforehand?
