I had applied ti Subh yatra railway card 2 weeks ago through irctc login an i paid the amount through icici bant internet banking. but still not i received the subh yatra card and any responsible from their. And same day i had applied for SBI railway card also yet not i received any responsible from their. I not get acknowledgment for applied. How can I know about status of sbi credit card.

    Hi.,
    Not Sure if anyone is facing this issue., When you try to book a ticket (anyplace,any train), it shows Crazy waiting lists even 4 weeks before the travel date. I am sure why.,A train which goes daily having capacity more than 700 seats..
    Okay but still Tatkal is option., so when i try to book Tatkal tickets., I think it open 8AM 2 days in advance of journey date., so when we check at 8 AM, www.irctc.co.in website is down says Service Unavailable., so i keep trying finally in 5 mints i connect and shocked to see all 200 odd Tatkal Seats sold within 5 mints, HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE..., and this is not first time or second time,this happened to me many many many times., as i keep travel between Chennai and Bangalore, or Bangalore and hyderabad.,
    I think Indian Railways is running some kind of Scam which public is not aware of.,
    How can 200 Seats get over in 5 mints cannot understand, once is okay, it happens everyday.,
    Please Check this & take Action on Indian Railways, Its supposed to be Govt Sector and Public Transport.., Hope this is Cleared ASAP.,

    Even I have faced the same issue many many times. I definitely see a scam going here. As soon as it reaches 8:00AM the website immediately displays "Service Not Available" and miraculously it return after 5min with all the tickets booked, only to find I am in the waiting list already. Can some concerned person take a look into this issue? I strongly feel there is some collaboration between the booking agents and IRCTC. Booking agents always gets the ticket booked with Available seats. Please have this issue investigated.

    IF YOU LOG ON TO IRCTC BEFORE 8 AM TO BOOK TATKAL TTKT YOU WILL GET A MESSAGE "SORRY YOU CAN BOOK E-TKT ONLY AFTER 8 " AN THIS WILL CONTINUE ONLY EVEN AFTER 8.30AM. I THINK DURING PARTICULAR TIME THAT SITE WILL BE BLOCKED TO ORIDNARY CITIZEN. AND OPEN ONLY TO TICKET MAFIA..

    ITCTC HAVE NO MERCY FOR STUDENT GOING TO EXAMS . I TRIED THIS SITE ON 08/05 TO BOOK TATKAL TKT FROM HWH TO YPR,

      Today (03/2/11) i tried to change my login password of my IRCTC website Login Id.: subu9939. while changing the password it shown that your password was not changed but now i am unable to log in my account with any of the password and i am unable to reset also.

      i want to cancel one of my ticket and for that login form my account is required, and i am unable to login,

          sir i would be like to share to i was do journey i indore patna exp.NO. 19321. ON 29 FEB 2011. IN that coach not avilable flush in bathroom bota toilet S-3 COACH. water is not avilable. water is waste i fuul compartment. so i not satis fied there services.. apart from that there is 8 hors delayed. in patna . passenger sufeering so many problem. i request that pl pay harrasment of passenger. and me also

            I BOOKED A TICKET WHOSE PNR WAS [protected] FOR JOURNEY ON 31 MAY 10. I DID NOT TRAVEL DUE TRAIN RUNNING LATE MORE THAN 3 HRS. I FILED THE TDR BUT ONLY 154 RS IS REFUNDED HOWEVER I SHOULD GET FULL AMOUNT BACK. MANY MAILS ARE ALREADY SEND TO TDR PROCESS AND CARE, BUT STILL NO REPLY. I CALLED IRCTC ON [protected] & [protected] AND TALKED TO TO SUNIL, SHRUTI & VIDYA BUT STILL NO ACTION IS TAKEN.                   Hi,

                  This is regarding a faulty software system running at https://www.irctc.co.in. I am not sure if it was designed by one of Mamata Banerjee's illiterate relatives. You wont believe the deficiencies present in this website. Earlier itself, this system had the following issues:

                  1. You try to book a ticket on a day 3 months ahead. you find that no ticket is available. You replan, but always it selects the current date (Why the [censored] they have decided with this... either they can leave it blank and always prompt for a date OR they can go with the same date user had chosen earlier)

                  2. It is not a scalable system. It can probably be used at a time by maximum 1000 users I believe. During festival seasons, when a hell lot of people use the system, it literally dies out (it is probably [censored]ed up and exhausted). You cannot access it for quite a long time.

                  Recently mamata seems to have given contract to her illiterate Maoist relatives to redo the website. They have done a "Good" work by completely tampering the station selection system.

                  1. Earlier system had an option to search for a station by entering the first letters (if the pop-up did not work). Since the pop-up is not always guaranteed to work, that option was provided. Now that has completely been removed.

                  Kindly take steps to restore this system to a useful state.

                  My name is Rohit Uttam. I was trying to book ticket from Kanpur to Kalyan (6 Dec 2010), but its showing REGT while its available from Lucknow to Kalyan. I was try the same with Badlapur ticket window but same fault was there. Please correct the system fault.

                      I have booked a ticket for two passenger to travel from Ranchi to Bhubaneswar on[protected]. But among these two passengers it was confirmed for only one person and another person was being waiting list so he could not travel with waiting list ticket (e ticket). I have filed TDR for this issue[protected], PNR Number: [protected], Ticket Type: eticket, Transaction ID: [protected], Reason For TDR: Passenger Not Travelled, TDR Status: CCM Registered and Reference No: ekt[protected]. Still, i am not getting refund from IRCTC. Please check my case and refund my money as early as possible.

                      On dated 29.04.2011 the Delhi - Bhubneshwar Rajdhani train No- 12444 was Late More than Seven hour, we (2 Passenger ) not travelled due to this reason. Applied for TDR against PNR No.- [protected], but still not get the refund amount. Why such type of delay, where as railway have the information for Late departure instantly. TDR process time should be minimised.

                          I am Sanjeev Verma. I alongwith my family travelled from Patna to New Delhi on 15 Jan 2011 by RJPB Rajdhani Express. PNR Number is [protected] and coach no. was BE-1, Berth No 65, 68, 66. My complaint is during moring on 16 Jan 2011, tea and snacks not served in the coach except some few passengers. On enquiry, it was excused that they don't get water and other items from the pantry car. When the tickets in Rajdhani Express includes cost of meals and snacks then why such kind of excuses is given. IRCTC should return the basic cost of food.

                                      I had filed a TDR with TDR reference no : ekt[protected] against my E-ticket booked through IRCTC on 18/07/2011 with PNR number : [protected], for journey date :08/10/2011 from Haridwar to Dehradun.

                                      The reasons for filing the TDR were :
                                      1) Train Late More Than Three Hours
                                      2) Passenger Not Travelled

                                      The TDR was filed on 08//11/2011 as per the rules but I have not received any refund against the filed TDR. The Refund status is continuously being shown as "Refund under Process" and TDR status is being shown as "Forwarded To Railway", TDR Zone "NRBSB" ion IRCTC's Website under my login ID.

                                      Requesting you to kindly look into the matter from your end as more than 2 months have passed from the TDR filing date and I have still not received any refund.

                                        Hi,
                                        Amazingly so, the IRCTC e-ticket booking looks to be becoming funny piece of software written by incompetent engineers. Here is the case I am facing now.

                                        I want to book a ticket with following details:
                                        Train No: 12273 / HWH NDLS Duronto
                                        From: HWH TO: NDLS
                                        Date of journey:[protected]
                                        Date of Booking:[protected]
                                        Passengers: 1. Male/30yrs (me); 2.Female/30yrs with one kid of 2yrs
                                        Present availability: 453 in general quota (max sit is around 500/600 in general)

                                        While I am going to book this ticket on IRCTC web with "at least one lower berth" option (for the kid/female); it is saying that the ticket cannot be booked for lower berths are not available.

                                        This is ridiculous!!! Hardly 10/20% ticket is gone, there has to be a lot of lower berths available. Considering a kid of 2yrs is also travelling, I don't know how it denies offering a lower berth. I have tried three times (twice yesterday, once today). Same error repeated.

                                        Do you think this is a real case of scarcity of lower berth where 453 sits are available!

                                        Please offer some tea/coffee to the staffs/engineers who wrote the software. There must be some serious flaw! I faced the same problem earlier when 250 sits were available. I thought maybe all earlier people has opted for lower berth and with 40/50% booking done it may be possible. But I came to know now that this is not a real case o[censored]n-availability. It is a human error that seriously affects the traveller.

                                        Please take corrective action on the same.

                                        what else can you expect from pathetic Indian politicians, programmers and stupid railway authorities? They are totally incompetent. Nothing in india works, so it is not a surprise that IRCTC site is so poor and pathetic. I don't think there is any connection with booking and seating availabiltiy.

                                        If the berth is not available, why the heck do they deduct the amount FIRST and then inform that the seat could not be booked.

                                        What a SCAM!!! The railway minster needs to be dragged to court.
