[Resolved]  Kenstar / Air Conditioner — Poor Service and misleading information

I had purchased 2nos of 1 ton split ACs' from Zenith situated at Ezra Street on 16th of April 2009 in the name of Kusum Agarwal. On the same day I found that 1 of the AC only after running few minutes shown E2. On seeing the E2 I immediately called the Zenith. After few days the person who installed the AC attended the complain and when he was working and when he removed the "quality check" sticker I noticed a crack on the body of the AC. I immediately informed Zenith about the crack on the body of AC. At that time Mr Alok of Zenith said me that the cracked body will be replaced.



Again after few days the same AC again gone bad and at this time it was showing E4. I again informed Zenith of this and asked the complain no of Kenstar but he told me it was not required and it will be done by dealer itself it may be somewhat 30th of April 2009. From that day ownward till mid of November 2009 no person neither ever attended the complain nor anybody changed that broken body. But everytime when I talked to Mr Alok he said it will be done next week and that next week never came.



In the month of November after huge conversation and argument. He gave me a number and said I need to talk in that. That day when I rang up that number I came to know that till 15th of November 2009 there was no complain lodged. I repeated all the matter to Mr Lal Mohammed khan the senior customer care executive of Howrah, he said me that this matter will be taken seriously but all promises of no use. What to speak of the broked body of the AC as the main cooling problem has not been solved till date. Every time the mechanic will come and say some part has gone bad.



Now Mr Alok has been blaming service of Kenstar and saying he has stopped selling the AC of your company because of this problems.

Now there is another problem with service department i.e.,they cancel the complain according to their wish as last day i was informed by your representative that the below mentioned complain was cancelled. How your service department can cancel the complain without solving and informing. This is not the right behaviour. Your people is just harassing the customer. I am very sorry to say if this is your after sales service I will advise everyone that please donot buy videocon products.

Kenstar/Split AC — Unsatisfactory service

Sir, I have purchased one split AC of Kenstar make in the year 2005.After purchasethe has given the tremendous trouble.Twice compressor failed. After a long fight with the service center and higher officials the got changed,but cooling was not satisfactory. Again compressor has gone deffcetive.Complaint has lodged vide no.KL30411004.Still it is un attended.
