[Resolved]  Kingfisher — Horrible Journey

Let me share my first & worst possible experience with King fisher Airlines even after being a Gold Card Holder of their king club.

Night mare started with Booking of the tickets for the family to Dubai.

2 days after I Booked, I got the call that flight times are changed. Is that flight schedule in not informed to the airlines by DGA office in advance?
I booked kingfisher over other airlines only for the time line benefit.

Next, I get a email that I need to get “Ok to Board” marked on my PNR and repeated calls to Customer care revealed that I need to go to their Bangalore office ( around 25 kms away from my home) personally for the same.
When I reach there, the person at counter tells me that there is nothing like that and I need not be there. ( Waste of time, money and energy) .
I reach Airport on time, was booked for basinet seats (I was travelling with Infant).
I have to ask the base crew for the lounge voucher( shouldn’t they be giving the same or enquiring about the same, whether I need the same or pax needs to ask for the same?) She says that For Gold, Its only 1 person and No guest, where in all mailers sent to me mention, 1 + guest. Are you guys clear about your own rules?
What does the kingfisher expect, if I am travelling with family, one o[censored]s stays out.
Anyways, When I argue for some time, she gives two. (as if a big favour)
and when I board the flight, I am told “ we do not have basinet” and they are removed. Out of 3 seats, One had reclining problem and other had no TV working. ( Gosh, do you do maintenance?)
One particular Cabin crew was horrible and was not friendly to kids at all. ( there were few other kids in the flight). Food was Good and Plane flew.
One hour before the arrival, there was an announcement, please return pillows and blankets. When did King fisher started behaving like Indian railways? ( they are also much better).

Anyways, I reached my destination and while travelling back, Airport check-in was smooth.
One base crew, at Dubai, 20th Feb, 2010 IT 46, was very friendly, she had prior written information about us holding Gold card, gave Lounge vouchers on her own , ensured smooth check in process and Boarding.
Cabin Crew was friendly . Quality and variety of Food has gone down over the years and there is actually no Pleasure in travelling in KF.
