I have taken a kotak life insurance policy in 2009 based on the agents promise. HE PROMISED that the amount invested here will be multiplied &will yeild high returns.But today i received a call from mumbai office. She told me that my taken policy is closed because of big lose in future so she forced me to take another policy of bharthi axa for refund of my previous policy.If i refuse to take that she told i have no refund of my investment.when i ask for written intimation she & her boss refuses to do that.So what can i do for save my investment now pls guide me.If i surrender policy what i will get.

I have purchased kotak smart advantage ( UIN 107l043V01) on 30/12/2009 and have been paying the premium continiously till date .The NAV values for other funds are available in the kotak web site except this smart advantage fund .

I have taken a kotak life insurance policy No.01511674 on[protected] based on the agents promise. SHE PROMISED that the amount invested here will be multiplied &will yeild high returns. On 4th January 2013 I went to their local Office Sector 9, Chandigarh to surrender this policy as the locking period of three years completed. The officer contacted there by me intimated that the surrender value of this policy is Rs.36, 000/- against the deposit of Rs.54, 000/- be me. Due to heavy loss I returned back from their office without surrendering the policy. Then she further told that if I do not surrender the policy, no refund will be given to me. When I ask for written intimation she & her boss refused to do so. So what can I do to save my hard earned money deposited with KotaK Life Insurance. I feel there is no other way except to approach the Consumer Redressal Commisison, Chandigarh for unwanted exploitation of innocent persons by Kotak Like Insurance Co.

I hav purchased kotak smart advantage (UIN 107L043V01) before 5 years (4th Feb. 2009) with annual premium of Rs 50, 000/- and total amount paid is Rs 200, 000/- so please let me know what is present value of my policy No. 0149297. If i discontinue my policy, how much refund amount i would get back.

Hi Guys

I had purchased this policy in 2009 and I think it is a clear case of cheating, false advertisement and convoluted documents. I am going to raise a complaint with IRDA in Delhi and then probably put a case of false advertisement against Kotak.
