[Resolved] MakeMyTrip — money not refunded | |||
I have booked a flight via makemytrip from bangalore to Gwalior for 24th Feb 2012. But as the flight was cancelled so makemytrip assured me that my whole money (16004 Rs.) will be refunded back and the process will take 5-7 working days. I received this communication from makemytrip on 23rd Feb and after that I received only 1116 Rs. on 29th Feb. After follow up multiple times there was one more refund of 4949 Rs. on 22nd March. so, in total out of 16004 Rs, i have received only 6065 Rs. and. I am still yet to receive the remaining 9939 Rs.. For which I have called up so many times and every time customer service assures me that I will be receiving the remaining money in next 48 hrs. but nothing has happened so far. My booking id was NF[protected]. Please help me in getting my money back from makemytrip. Was this information helpful? | |||

The company charged me twice for the same reservation. After repeated attempts at getting this corrected, and spending a numerous hours on the phone with their representatives over multiple phone calls, the issue has still not been fixed. I have been told twice that money will be refunded. The first time they said the money will be refunded within 7 business days but nothing happened. The second time they asked for another 7 days and still nothing. It has been a month and a half since I have reported the problem to them.
This business is a scam and the service is atrocious. I will file a case with my credit card company and hopefully that will work.

I booked a ticket through Makemytrip.com booking Id -NF[protected]
Booking Date - Tue, 4 January 11 for the amount of Rs. 6,190
I cancelled the same ticket on 21-jan-2011 Cancellation Number - IN1101R0086193
and the amount that needed to be refunded to me was Rs 4400
I haven't received the amount till now despite repeated reminder send to the customer care for makemytrip . they claimed to have already refunded the amount ,but have not received the amount in my bank account .

I made my booking through make my trip for the kingfisher flight.My flight got cancelled and when i contacted kingfisher airlines that i need to contact make my trip.i contacted make my trip ,they told me that my total amount will be refunded but it was not refunded.Again i called them again and again ,now they are telling me they need stamped paper document from airlines and so on .they are not ready to refund my money back.

For a refund of a ticket directly cancelled through the airlines, they are asking for a Stamped Document which in the first place is never provided by the airlines i booked by ticket with - Aerosvit. Secondly nowhere on Makemytrip website does it mention about the Stamped Document needed for a refund.
Makemytrip website says -On receiving your confirmation, MakeMyTrip will validate the refund amount with the airline and then process the refund to your account-.
Is this cheating in the name of Stamped Document ?

I am Ajit Dubey and was trying to book an air ticket from Ahmedabad to Delhi on 21.10.2011 using makemytrip website through HDFC net banking. But due to some problem my ticket could not be booked while an amount of Rs. 11,304/- was deducted from my HDFC bank account.
As discussed with their help line and i sent scanned copy of my HDFC account statement showing transfer of money to makemytrip on 21.10.2011.
After that i have spoken to their helpline around 10 times but neither satisfactory answer is given nor the money is refunded till date.

Make My Trip — Money Refund
I canceled a pre booked ticket from Make My Trip site on[protected] but till not i get my refunded money.I called 8 times to make my trip customer care and every time they are told to me you will get refunded money within week .
My booking ID is NU[protected].
My booked ticket no. is 25449523.

But till now money has not been refunded.
Every time I called them they say, it will be refunded in 3 days. But it has never happen.
