[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip — poor service which led to financial and emotional loss

its a complaint against makemytrip.com. I had to go to my home town to attend the rituals for the demise of my 17 yrs old nephew from nasik to sriganganagar. from nasik to ahmedabad i had booked a bus ticket via makemytrip.com. makemytrip.com have not given any contact number of bus operator. on making a call to them they had given two numbers and both the numbers were fake and of some car rental. on again making a call they told sir need not to worry the bus will reach on time from the given destination. the departure was scheduled at 9:00 PM but the bus arrived at 10.30 PM. I considered that I will reach ahmedabad upto 8.30AM which is 1.5 hrs more than the expected arrival. at 11.30PM the driver stopped the bus and told the tyre is punctured and took around 1.5 hr to fit the tyre back. at around 1.00 he started moving. around 5.30 I wake up and seen that the bus is again stopped and the driver is mending the stippeny tyre. I asked driver that when he will move as I have to catch my train at 11.30 from ahmedabad. he told that he will take around 1 hr and now we are at surat. I tried to convince him that stippeny tyre can be mended in ahmedabad but he denied to do so. than i made a call to makemytrip.com. the customer service executive put off the call with the plea that the system is down and he cant help me. I told him tht there is the demise of my 17 yr old nephew and i have to reach on time. i was astonished tht just we have covered 180 km in whole night . on asking the driver told we will take around 5 hrs. to reach ahmedabad from surat. he started moving around 7.30 and bus reached at around 11.30 in ahmedabad. in between i made almost 3 calls to makemytrip.com that mine travel is urgent and there was a single reply "sorry". I asked them to atleast remove the jalaram travels from there list and give me Rs. 2206 (PNR[protected] which i have spent on tatkal ticket.bus dropped us almost 4 kms outer from the city. i missed my train and still i am at ahmedabad from last 4 hrs. and there is nothing to reach my hometown. I will get a bus and will reach my home around 15.30 hrs. and will not be able to see the face of my nephew last time.

Well Thank You to makemytrip and Consumercomplaints. makemytrip refunded my loss of Rs. 2206 and credited the amount in my account. I feel that its not customer care but customer ecstasy. now I am not scared off makemytrip bookings
