MakeMyTrip — No Refund or Alternate Trip For Visa Rejection , 65000 Rupees looted from me by MakeMyTrip

Hello Sir/Madam

I booked tour package eastern explorer[Reference ID: [[protected]] in MakeMyTrip.com on May 14 last Year but unfortunately My visa was rejected and before that we paid 50,000 rupees advance + 15,000 rupees for booking . After the visa was reject on june 2nd before 20 days of Departure,As per by The Terms and Conditions they should refund me 70% of the amount but the agent Mohd. Ujef Shaikh; Aziz Lightwala of MakeMyTrip both emailed and told me we will provide you another trip to somewhere or refund your amount , they kept on saying that and in the end they didn't refund my money or gave me an alternative trip .For 8 months we have been emailing and trying to contact them , no response .

MakeMyTrip are cheaters , how can't they give an alternative trip or Refund my Money ? If you are in the same position those MMT agents , will you let your money go ?

I request everyone not to go for MakeMyTrip and i'm gonna put in the newspapers or wherever i go that Makemytrip are cheaters stealing others money.

I demand them to refund my money or give alternate trip , Or i'm gonna sue the two Agents

Hi,

I am having a similar issue with Makemytrip. Can you please tell what is the status of this complaint and proof for the refund policy as mentioned above.
I have paid 53000 advance and requested to transfer this amount to a different package (whatever possible). But they said that I have to pay a penalty because the visa got rejected.

I am trying to fight the same case as yours and your help would be really appreciated.

Hi.
i have been into same situation like you people. These people are not returning the amount which we have been paid under visa protection plan. They are cheaters. They used smartly their technical language but i am sure if we go for legal than may be will take our amount back. They jst ruined my honeymoon trip.. Which is insane completely. I regret to be thought for going with this www app.

I have booked an international package with MakeMyTrip, and I was so forced by the seller despite my inability to present certain documents for visa application. They assured me that we will provide the documents for it, but it got rejected and they are refusing the refund my booking amount. It's a fullfledged violation of consumer freedom, an act of cheating as well. the seller was Gurmeet Kaur who conspire whole this thing by pressuring me for booking the package despite all the odds. Its very unprofessional.

Hi,

I have applied for UAE visa on 17th of October. I was told by Neha Garg that I will recieve my visa within 3-5 business days but I haven't recieved it. Then on the 5th business day I called and Neha told me that the backend team did not process it but they will process it today (24th October) and then was asked to wait for another 5 business day. Today is 31st October which is 4 business days and still I haven't recieved any visa.

I always send emails to follow up but she never replied. Then when I call the customer care number that time she reads it on the calls and then gives me an update that I have to wait. Same way yesterday also I have sent an email too yesterday following up on this but never recieved any response from Neha yet.
