Makemytrip is without doubt one of the worst companies out there.

I booked a return ticket bangalore to mumbai and back via makemytrip.

I cancelled the return (mumbai to bangalore) but not the onward one.

When I reported to the airport in Bangalore, I found that makemytrip had accidently cancelled this ticket too. I was at a loss as airline would not care or help (go Air by the way). I contact makemytrip and the lady told me that I should book another ticket on the spot and makemytrip will refund me the entire amount for the new ticket as the loss I incurred was due to their mistake. I was happy and booked another ticket on the spot costing me 6185 rupees.

I submitted the documents to makemytrip and now after 1 month I am still waiting for refund, After making several calls to them, they refunded 2356. I called up them again. The guy said the accounts guys had made mistake and the wrong amount was refunded.
(wow, first they cancel by mistake, then the refund wrong amound by mistake! what a joke makemytrip is!)

The customer service guys on the telephone are the most incompetent ones here (probably Airtel is the only company in India who has worst than them).

After calling them several times, the guys take 10 minutes to understand the problem, then they put me on hold for 10-15 minutes and then quietly disconnect the call. I had a very bad experience today when I had to call them 5 times, and each time after about 20 minutes, the guy disconnected the call. Each time a different guy would pick up and this would be repeated. When I told one of them about my ordeal, I could hear some snickering in the background, as if they are enjoying my suffering. The last person's name I recall is Kamal. I gave up trying as I has wasted 90 minutes on this already today, and more than 10 hours in all over the last month in calling them.

Please avoid makemytrip at all costs, no matter how nice their TV ads seem. It is a thug company. They only want your money and once they have it its in gods hands if you will ever get it back. They should be called "breakmytrip" instead.

People, please do yourselves a favor and spread the news about the frauds of makemytrip. Companies like this give India a bad name.

    I I took my honeymoon package from make my trip.
    I am not at all satisfied with the way I have been treated by your company even after spending around 1.30 lacs.
    Disappointment started with the day one of the tour, upon our arrival to kuala lumpur we were transferred to Genting ( our first destination) by taxi.
    We were promised the transfers by cable car ride to our hotel, cruise and purtajaya tour but the same was not given to us, I felt extremely bad and disappointed as we were misled by your executives. This was very disheartening.

    In genting though my hotel was prepaid and pre-booked we waited for almost 5 hours sitting on a chair with all our luggage for check-in as check in timings were after 12 noon ( which was not informed to us) but we reached our hotel at 7:00am in the morning after a whole night journey. I called up Priyanka Juneja who booked my package from rajori garden branch, she informed me that she has left make my trip, then I called up Swati Bhardwaj who was taking care of our tour after priyanka.
    Swati was very rude and said `` this is the way your package has been booked and I am just coordinating the same, and I cannot do anything about this.``.

    After completing the formalities of check-in in first world hotel, we asked people at reception to send someone to help us taking our luggage to our room which was at 21’st floor, the same was denied. Me and my wife carried two suitcases and 3 bags on our own to our room, we were very tired but still we did not have any option other than carrying the luggage. The same happened at the time of check out as well.

    As is mentioned earlier this was my honeymoon trip and the bed which were there in our room were two separate single beds, I called up reception to either join the beds or change our room, the same was again denied and we were left helpless.

    Your executives promised us Indian breakfast for all 9 days but the same was not given, we got breakfast only for 7 days and that too was not Indian, that was Malaysia’s regional food which was very smelly and tasteless.

    We were promised some shopping vouchers worth Rs. 20000 each for Malaysia, but we received them after our return to India and that too were for India not Malaysia.

    Make My Trip — Misleading Promises

    Dear sir,

    I wish to inform you that i was offered " Great Indian Festible Offer" by make my trip which they offer to a selected customer. However the benifits that they offerred me in the call was not the same when i tried to redeem the same. In that offer I was promised of Dining Card in which i can buy the flight tickets at a 25% discount of the total cost which was confirmed by 2 department at a time. Again they gave some reedeemable voucher, where they did not mentiion anything like " I can redeem only if i make return trip from that". So they are grossly misleading the customer with false promises. I have request to all the customer please dont buy anysuch offer which Make my trip offers. Instead dont even go for normal booking in that site.

    Make my trip is only making people to fool.

    Pl remain away from this fraud company. This company aim is to only make copmission rather than satisfy the customers.

    In my case they also cheat me. I have booked hotel thaugh them. My ID is NH[protected]. for booking hotel in Shimla from 10/06/11 to 12/06/11 (ie 02 days) they have charged 8293/- too much money.
    In their confirmation mail they have committed as executive roo in a executive single star hote.

    But in actually the hotel is very IIIrd class hotel in very poor location.

    We have talked hotel manager then he said that " why you have booked thraugh My Trip. you should make booking directly. They only make high comission."

    I conjecture to saw that hotel manager is giving those rooms in only 1000/- which we are booked.

    The detail of rooms booked is given below for your reference please:

      I booked a trip from Delhi to Goa (both Air ticket and Hotel) through makemytrip.com on 04-Feb-2012. My booking number was NP[protected]. My travel date was 07-Feb-2012. Due to some urgent issues, i had to cancel my trip. I called to make my trip on 06-Feb-2012 in the morning to cancel my trip but i was informed to call them back in an hour since there server was down and they can not process anything until their server is up. I called them back in an hours, i was requested to call them after 3 hrs. Then i called them again after few hrs, i was kept on hold for 45 minutes and no one attended the call. I tried calling them again at mid-night, and i was kept on hold for 50 minutes but no one assisted me to sorted our my case.

      Eventually i called to airline and managed to cancel my trip from Delhi to Goa, but goa to delhi trip could not be cancelled since airline suggested to contact my travel agent (makemytrip). Therefore, i called makemytrip again to cancel my hotel and Goa-Delhi trip and claim reimbursement. It was very strange that one of their agent received my call and transferred to someone else who kept me holding for 45 minutes but disconnected the call eventually. Therefore, i ends up with cancelling my Delhi to Goa flight only.

      I sent two emails to makemytrip when i failed to get their feedback over phone. I was informed a reference has been assigned (number[protected] to check my case. Till date, there have been to feedback or response from makemytrip.

      I have a serious feeling about this travel company and i think they have intentionally done that with me (and many other clients like me). Its a case of fraude and serious lack of customer service. I want my money back. There should be no reason of giving INR 18,261 to makemytrip for not delivering any service at all.

        Hi Sir / Madam

        I made a fight ticket booking from Makemytrip site on 10th Feb,2012 from New delhi to hyderabad. The amount go deducted from my account and ticket was not booked. Till today i gave a call to the vendor for thrice and are just up to give me a several reference numbers butnot my money of 6705/- every time i call they tell it will be refunded back into my account in 72 hours. almost 10days completed but my amount is not yet refunded. I have provided all the information like CC avenues reference number and trade number also.But till now my amount was not refunded. Please suggest me on how to take this forward

          Hello, I am trying to book a flight on makemytrip.com continously since last evening.

          They have "MakeMyTrip Special" fare section, from where I am trying to book a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai for 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant for 5th March 2012 departing 19:05 - 22:05. Everytime I book the flight, amount is being charged to my credit card but the ticket booking is getting failed. I tried booking the ticket for another date/time under "MakeMyTrip Special" fare. but still the same result. Since last evening I have booked the ticket 7 times under "MakeMyTrip Special" and everytime my credit card got charged and ticket booking got cancelled.

          All the 7 failed booking IDs are as follows.

          I am really frustrated about this. Do their "MakeMyTrip Special" fare section actually works or they have kept it to FOOL people, collect money and use it for sometime before refunding it. This is really shameful of MakeMyTrip. If its the failure on their IT operations team's part then they should be embarassed to have these kind of working for them.

          I need to understand whether "MakeMyTrip Special" fare is actually valid, if yes then how it works. Please dont direct me to some section of the website to read FAQs, I have already seen it and reached till booking the ticket but your useless system couldnt book the ticket.

            I had booked my tour (Honeymoon) through Make my trip. However, I am constrained to lodge a formal complaint against your company for embarrassment, inconvenience and defamation caused to me as per below details.

            As soon as we reached out first destination, i.e., Langkawi, it was to our utter shock that Hotel Berjaya Langkawi denied us check-in due to non-payment..!!! Whereas, we had made 100% payment to your company in advance well before the departure date as per the deal finalized and as per your terms and conditions. After a long discussion and argument with the hotel staff for about 2-3 hours, the hotel authorities were ready to allot us the room but only on the condition that we made them the payment of MYR 1500..!!! When I told them that my agent has already paid for the booking, they denied the same again saying they have not received any payment from your side. Again we had to try, persuade, wait and co-ordinate with your local agent and with your Indian staff (Namrata Shah @ Ahmedabad) to get the mess sorted out. Even though we wanted to get in touch with Namrata Shah, your Ahmedabad Office staff kept on saying that Namrata is currently not available and they will ask her to call back once she is available. They also refused to provide Mobile contact number of Namrata even though we explained them the entire scenario and the seriousness of the issue. We then had to speak to your local agent in Malaysia who somehow managed to convince the hotel staff about the issue and we were allowed to check-in after 3-4 hours of gruesome struggle and arguments.

            Above incident was outrageous on your company’s part which led a great deal of embarrassment and defamation to me in front of my newly wedded wife. Moreover, it wasted a good part of the entire day (4-5 hours) from short tour to Malaysia. How can such a blunder take place from a reputed company such as yours..!!

            The above incident was totally unacceptable to me. I would expect you to look into the matter and respond with appropriate justification and compensation to me in this regards.

              It has been 3 days since i have been calling Make my trip customer service but nothing has happened... first of all details of my case are as follows:-
              I made 2 bookings with Make my Trip on the Sunday 12th of February
              The first one with NN[protected] was for going from New Delhi to Siem Reap(Cambodia) on the 17th of Feb
              This first booking was done via Make my trip and the flights were from Kingfisher i believe via Kolkata
              Tuesday Evening 14th feb, i got a call from the Make my trip operator from the number [protected] and he told me that the flight is cancelled. While I was in the middle of a market place, this is what the conversation was:- ((MMT- Sir, this is to inform you that your flight to Cambodia for 17th Feb has been canceled. Vivek- ! So now what, i got the booking through you guys, the entire plan depends on the first ticket. MMT- Sir, you have the option of getting full refund or shall we make a rebooking. A scared Vivek- Please put me on the next flight available, and i dont need the refund. MMT- Sir, this is Sri Lanka Airlines starting Delhi on 17th 7pm reaching on 18th. Vivek- Are you sure there is no flight earlier than this. MMT- No sir, and i am afraid if you take few hours, even this will get booked. Vivek- Then please book me on this one. End of chat...)))
              Now i came back to hotel room, checked the flights were available from Sri Lankan Airlines and same fare had 3 flights listed. The earliest was reaching Siem Reap at 9am while my booking was made for 255pm. I was shocked to see my half day held no value in front of the Make my trip operator when i told him i want to reach the earliest.
              I logged a complaint same day, 14th Feb with Make my trip to alter the booking and try to arrange me on the earlier flight to Siem Reap, i was given assurance that i would get a call back, but nothing happened
              Next day 15th Feb, i again called up Make my trip and told them to do something about the booking since i needed to reach Siem Reap early, i was told this time the escalation is being done through a mail and the copy of the mail will be sent to me as well. But i didnt get any call, any mail
              Yesterday i again called Make my trip twice, was on call for more than an hour, talking to Saakshi first, then Niraj and then a supervisor called Jagjit but they all said they are helpless till the time they listen to the audio recording of the agent who communicated the flight rescheduling to me
              I am very aggrieved and only because of the callous attitude of Make my trip, i wasted a day of my trip when my family was waiting in Cambodia for me
              I wish they could resolve the situation early to save me a day since the flights are still available at similar fares for all three timings(although its higher than original fare) Attaching a snapshot from today's availability

                I had made 4 bookings from MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected], travel date 20th Dec 2011. I had applied Coupon code VISAMMTDOM during the booking of all the 4 tickets. MakeMyTrip has failed to credit the cashback inspite of repeated calls to customer care. A recent complaint reference #[protected] was logged with customer care, there was no follow-up from MakeMyTrip to inform
                me of any update. When I finally callback, I am informed that I am not eligible for the offer as my credit card number series is not matching. As per the T&C of the offer, there is no mention of matching any series, it was mentioned that the offer is valid for Signature cards which I used during booking and payment. The customer care executive expressed her complete inability to help and assist in this matter and asked me to email [email][protected]@makemytrip.com[/email] for resolution. I emailed MakeMyTrip but only received an auto acknowledgement email with Incident:[protected], but no response till date. It has been 2 months and I am frustrated with MakeMyTrip’s unfriendly customer service attitude and slackness and trying to cheat a customer with false promises.

                I have captured all the screenshots of the offer and I will make sure that this fraud by MakeMyTrip is exposed.

                  Don't Be Fooled away by -MakeMyTrip Online Travel Agency

                  Be careful with MakeMyTravel Online Travel Agency ..entice you with discount and one way travel free or cheap fair..

                  I booked my flight ticket for Bangalore and Lucknow with return tickets almost 20 days earlier .... i was given only Rs.100 discount on both tickets..

                  I was sure that my both tickets should be refundable in case i have to cancel or break my journey..

                  For some reasons i had to cancel my return ticket.. can you guess in spit of written Refundable on my ticket , it was not refunded and i was told that only if the both tickets would have been returned... and since i have already done one way travel so return ticket can not be refund.... when i told then why it is return that it is refundable.. MakeMyTrip told it is because both ticket has same PNR number... here was the hidden trick to catch me into their trap.. and they swallowed up my one way money..

                  I feel very sorry that i did not investigate about the booking Agency on Google.. I would never recommend anyone to book their flight ticket on this site or first call and get the whole details....

                    Hi,

                    I booked a honeymoon package for Mauritius and pain an amount of Rs, 20,000 as initial deposit. I requested for a flight booking confirmation from makemytrip travel agent. But agent didn't provide me same and sent me a simple plain e-mail saying your Itinerary is confirmed (without any flight and hotel confirmation). Also, he asked me to send consent forms for confirming my flight as well as hotel. 3 Days later, I have to cancel my trip and now agent says that my tickets and hotel was confirmed and he is refusing my any refund. I haven't sent any consent form.

                    Please help me in this matter.

                      I am Sushil Jain, I booked a air ticket for "NEETI THAPLIYAL" from Banglore to Delhi on 26th Jan'12 for 04th feb'12 and the booking ID is IN1201B14452

                      When Passenger named "NEETI THAPLIYAL" reached the Airport, then she was told that this flight has been cancelled and her PNR number is not even listed on same flight which has been cancelled.
                      But I/She never received an email/sms/call from makemytrip about the cancellation of flight.
                      Now she had to book another flight on "Jet Airways" for higher price.

                      When NEETI told me about the same, I called to Makemytrip customer care and talked to Satish Kumar(International Post Sales deptt) and he told me that Makemytrip was never informed by the Airline about cancellation. (Call reference id is :[protected]
                      In short he lied to me because "NEETI" was told at ticket counter that Makemytrip was informed by Airline and her PNR is not even listed on the passenger list on same flight.

                      Also, I want to bring out this to your notice that She was moving to Delhi from Banglore with whole luggage.
                      She was harassed by you and began crying over phone.

                      In regard to my case, I have the following demands:

                      (I) Refund of Rs 5200/- WITH INTEREST.

                      (II) Compensation of Rs 20,000/- for the Mental Harassment and agony that Me and She have gone through because of your company.

                        I have cancelled my Raipur Mumbai flight journey date 30.9.2010 & Mumbai - Raipur Journey date 2.10.2010 . Credit note no. NF-2922614 & cancellation number IN 1009R0107152 was provided by the company. Total refund amount Rs. 8054.00 ( Rs. Eight Thousand Fifty Four Only) has to be credited in my bank account. I have represented case to the company through mail various times 1st mail I had sent on 25.10.2010 then with every mail I was told that my problem will be issued within 72 Hrs.Then followed through mail on 30/10/2010, 3/11/2010,15/11/2010, 22/11/2010, 25/11/2010 , 9/12/2010 . Then after I was also asked to check my bank account & also asked to submit the bank statement for date 12/11/2010 which I have sent on 15/11/2010 through mail.

                        Regret to say that I had failed to get my refund amount till date. KINDLY HELP

                          This is with reference to the airline ticket booking which we were trying from make my trip on 28th Nov. 2011, we kept trying through a credit card but transaction was only under process . We then tried booking ticket with the help of a debit card, we got the ticket and we used the service too. Later we got a credit card statement worth Rs.7500 for a transaction which was not processed, we did not get any ticket, we did not use any service than why should we pay for one service twice?

                          The ticket which we have utilised for that the booking was done on 28th of Nov.2011 via debit card no. [protected]. Pl. find the attachment of the invoice. Before we got a confirm booking as mentioned above there were 3 unsuccessful attempts via credit card ( with your reference nos. NS[protected], NS[protected], NS[protected]/ IN1112B11779). While attempting to book even though payment has been received from the said credit card. But no ticket had been issued. Initially they kept accepting their mistake and kept telling me that money is in between and it will be auto reversed in 3 working days.

                          Pl. refer to all the trail mails. Because of the delay which they have caused the credit card has been blocked and the transaction of Rs. 7591/ has increased to Rs. 8404/. This is not expected out of such a reputed organization like makemytrip.
                          The service which we have used we have paid for it. Why should be pay the double for same service? Pl. help. Following is the email transaction which I had with makemytrip:

                          This is with reference to the transaction which happened through debit card
                          and not the credit card. You have initially accepted that and now you are
                          denying . This forces me to take you to the consumer court. Initailly y
                          Initially you kept saying money will be refunded in 72 hours and now you
                          deny. all trail mails are proofs to how you can harass your customers and
                          charge them without any services.

                            MMT Booking ID NN[protected]
                            MMT is pathetic . I had booked an international flight with them .There was a cash back offer on it . Even after a month they have not debited my account with same . I tried calling them a few times but each time even after 15-20 minutes and in one case even 30 minutes nobody answered. However the calls to booking section get answered in under a minute .
                            So i tried writing emails to them .You will be surprised like myself at the reason over different times they gave including one to my bank for no cashback disbursment .
                            1.) Sir the cashback will happen when first flight takes off.
                            2.) The code entered was wrong
                            3.) There is no code entered
                            and finally one from MMT to my bank HDFC
                            1.) There is no cash back for flights originating from international destination .
                            Well why was it not there in terms and conditions ????

                            Anyways i will never use them again and will make extra effort for other to not use them too .

                            MAKE MY TRIP WAS KIND ENOUGH TO OBLIGE US BY GETTING THE VISA WHICH COSTS ONLY RS.5000.00. ADVANCE TAKEN IS RS.15000.00

                              My booking ID NH[protected].

                              On Jan 20, I made a call and spoke to Sudhir for a long time.

                              On Jan 21, 2012 I wanted to cancel this booking and I made several calls :

                              01. Spoke to Ms. Shandy Handa for about 35 minutes and then the call got disconnected
                              02. Spoke to Mr.Manish for about 30 minutes and then the call was cut
                              03. Call to Mr.Deep was kept on hold for more than 33 mins, and then the call was cut.
                              04. Spoke to Ms. Shikha at 1715 hours, who then transferred to Mr.Javed , Manager with whom I spoke for about 35 minutes.
                              05. Spoke to Ms.Sheela for a long time



                              All were saying they were trying to reach the hotel, but there was no answer on the hotel phones. The very reason I was cancelling this booking was because The service seems very poor, and I don't think you would expect me to stay in a hotel who don't even answer their phones all through the day.

                              Ms.Shandy as well as Mr.Javed stated they were escalating this issue to the Banaglore area manager. However, I saw a charge for $185.50 on my credit card.

                              I request you to reverse these charges immediately and reimburse me the money I spent on making calls to the 0124 number for over 200 minutes of talktime tryingt o talk to MAKEMYTRIP.

                              This has been one fo the worst experience, and unless my issue is not resolved in the next 24 hours, I am going to put it up on my blog, write reviews both on Makemytrip as well as the hotel website with what has happened and request a chargeback from my banker.

                              I was assured that I will get a call back, but so far, have not received neither a response to this email, nor a phone call. It is unfortunate that Makemytrip promotes a hotel which does not provide even basic service as answering their phones, and Makemytrip has failed to cannot provide me the assured prompt, efficient customer service .

                              Imagine having to spend 200+ minutes on the phone for a simple cancellation.

                              I have been a regular user of makemytrip.com since the past few years and have made several bookings through my email addresses. However, this was the worst experience I have ever had with a travel website so far in my life and I hate having to go through this.

                                This has reference to Flight bookings made by me through makemytrip.com on 7th Jan,2011 for travel from Delhi-Mumbai on 8th Jan,2011.
                                For factual clarity of my grievance, I am narrating the facts in detail.
                                First time when booking was done by me for 3 passengers, I was asked to pay Rs.22,548/-, which was paid through ICICI Bank Account No.[protected]. I also received a sms from the Bank for debit of the aforesaid bank account. However strangely, my ticket did not generate but a message displayed “what happened – details entered by are invalid. Please try again. I then called the customer care of makemytrip, who then attended to me and clarified that the booking has failed because requested seats were not available and makemytrip will return the payment within 72 hours. Reference ID for the call made to customer care is[protected], who then shown his inability to immediately resolve the issue and transferred our call to “Sales Department”, where Ms. Praveen Kumari, email address parveen.[protected]@makemytrip.com attended us and suggested us that pending our earlier refund, we should make fresh payment to the link, which she will send after blocking tickets for us. This time she informed us that same booking now will be for Rs. 23,676/-. She then blocked tickets to us and promised us that the payment link being sent by her is 100% secure, wherefrom payment will never fail. We then had no option but to make payment, as we had to catch the flight to take our serious Cancer patient to Tata Memorial, Mumbai. Strangely this time also payment was deducted but Ms. Preaveen Kumari informed that she has not received the payment from bank. We then spoke to bank, who confirmed that payment has gone from Bank and is not pending at their end. By this time, we had blocked Rs.46,224/-. Ms. Praveen Kumari then asked us that she cannot help and advised us to go to makemytrip office at TDI Mall, Rajori Garden, Delhi and make fresh payment to secure tickets blocked by her, otherwise these tickets will also not be available. Since we had no option but to travel to Mumbai at any cost, we visited the TDI Mall, Rajori Garden, Delhi and made cash payments, where the concerned executive confirmed that our payment of Rs.22,548/-is being reflected as received by them, which will be refunded shortly. However, he was not able to recognize other payment of Rs.23,676/-. However, he assured that no other booking has been made by us and therefore, they will refund all our payments within 72 hours. Our discussion with Ms. Praveen kumari of Chandigarh office was for more than 45 minutes to discuss the entire issue.
                                Today it is 12th of Jan i.e. after lapse of 5 days there is no response from makemytrip, however on sms was received on mobile today stating “Dear Customer, For your travel starting 8 Jan,12 for Delhi-Mumbai, Makemytrip booking ID is IN1201B03539.Amount charged INR 23,676. Thank you.
                                I have failed to understand, what you wanted to say today by this message, keeping silence on my refund of Rs.46,224/-.
                                By this mail, I am requesting you to refund my excess payments charged by you amounting to Rs.46,224/- solely on account of your fault, the excess fare charged on fresh booking, my travel expenses , interest and a reasonable cost to compensate me towards this sufferance, which I have explained to you in detail. Keep in my I had to take my father, who is suffering from cancer and is in critical stage and such a scenario suffered me mentally.

                                Inspite of my several days followups your company has not been able to refund my enitre excess amount and are unnecessarily troubling me. Please refund my money with suitable compensations for the hassels and the expenses, I am incurring every day to pursue this issue.

                                  My name is Sumit Dey & I had booked a domestic ticket for the MUM-CCU & Return CCU-MUM Sector.

                                  --> Initial Booking was done for 3rd-Dec & return on 6th-Dec
                                  --> Then the same was rescheduled to 15th-Dec & return on 24th-Dec
                                  --> Once again it was rescheduled to 20th-Dec & return on 30th-Dec (rescheduling done directly through the airlines as makemytrip server was down)
                                  --> Finally I got the ticket cancelled through Kingfisher on 19th-Dec & got an alert from Kingfisher as stated below in the mail received.

                                  The airline confirmed me the refund amount of 6000/- plus change, which I immediately called makemytrip & conveyed the message. I was told that it will be refunded on my account within 5 working days. But after almost 10 days again I called makemytrip to enquire about the refund status I was told the airline is yet to confirm & we will get back to you once confirmed. Again on 4th-Jan-12, I called makemytrip to enquire the same but to my surprise nothing was processed. A complaint (Complaint No. IN1112R0129562) was registered & I was assured that someone from makemytrip will call back within 24 hours but no one called me.

                                  Since then I have been calling makemytrip every now & then only to brief the entire story again & again with no concrete solution. I have assured by so many customer care representative like; will be getting the refund amount in 5 working days.....but with negative result. Many times I got very rude & rough behavior from the tele executives (I guess if it is recorded, just listen to the conversations I had. you will be get at least 20 calls in my name)

                                  I fail to understand where is the issue & why it is taking so much of time to get the money refunded?? If this is way makemytrip works then will never ever do my reservations through this for sure!!

                                  So this is my sincere request for getting my money refunded ASAP.

                                  Makemytrip / Ticket Refund — Refund Problems and Rude Behavior

                                  My wife Sheetal had her Makemytrip booking for Jet Airways on 03.11.2009 from Newark (U.S.) to Mumbai, which we canceled in last week of October directly with Jet upon advise of Makemytrip Tele-Executive. After I canceled the ticket, Makemytrip could not find my records in their Database to advise the refund process. They asked me to get the records from Jet Airways, which I did to co-operate with Makemytrip in order to make the process speedy. After supplying them information received from the jet, I got messages from their executives by emails (2 or 3 of them), from [protected]@makemytrip.com, that refund is in process.

                                  After a while, Makemytrip suddenly stopped communicating from [protected]@makemytrip.com and their tele-executive say they can not trace my tickets or any records. I have used Makemytrip for some 7 India-U.S. tickets in last two years, still their behavior is very rude. They feel if they keep on avoiding
                                  me, I will give up on money.

                                  Make My Trip — refund status

                                  i booked ticket on 19 Oct 2012 but due to some technical error ihave not received any confirmed status from company so i raised complaint to c care and they have given Reference ID[protected] saying that amount will refund in 72 Hrs already its more than that still no response from them
                                  I booked ticket to Delhi through Train No. 12641 Tirukural Express Chennai to Delhi. I Booked on 11th April 2014 and the Make my trip Booking ID is NR[protected]. I have also booked for return journey also by the same train. But while booking I got information with full details as that of a ticket with the information that due to technical issues your booking could not be made. Kindly note that we will initiate a full refund of the charged amount within 2 working days. We recommend you try making the booking again." Simultaneously I got sms stating that the refund will be effected within 7 days of otherwise 15 days which will reflect in my bank account. Since I did not receive any such credit to my account, I raise a complaint on 22nd April stating all these details by attaching the information document along with my mail. I got an immediate reply (may be auto reply) stating that "A Reference ID[protected] has been assigned for your query. You are requested not to change the subject line containing the Reference ID when replying to us to enable us to serve you better.

                                  Our team will check the case and respond to you. If you require urgent assistance, please feel free to call us on our toll free number at[protected] or +[protected]from networks in and outside India).

                                  After that mail neither I got refund nor any information from them, if my complaint is on process. The total amount of refund is Rs.8600/-. Please let me know the fate of the transaction.

                                  And requested MMT for refund.

While entering the Details of the Passenger it did not asked me details of the Infant and only the flight for the Adult was booked.                                     Hello, I am trying to book a flight on makemytrip.com continously since last evening.

                                    They have "MakeMyTrip Special" fare section, from where I am trying to book a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai for 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant for 5th March 2012 departing 19:05 - 22:05. Everytime I book the flight, amount is being charged to my credit card but the ticket booking is getting failed. I tried booking the ticket for another date/time under "MakeMyTrip Special" fare. but still the same result. Since last evening I have booked the ticket 7 times under "MakeMyTrip Special" and everytime my credit card got charged and ticket booking got cancelled.

                                    All the 7 failed booking IDs are as follows.

                                    I am really frustrated about this.                                     I need to understand whether "MakeMyTrip Special" fare is actually valid, if yes then how it works. Please dont direct me to some section of the website to read FAQs, I have already seen it and reached till booking the ticket but your useless system couldnt book the ticket.
                                    I would have actually gone ahead and booked my flight today for one adult (myself) - Delhi to Bangalore for INR 4471 for travel after Holi. A good deal by all means. But, then I tried googling / checking on passengers who had actually used this special fare service in the past. Unfortunately, all I see are the posts above. This is concerning. Has anything been done by Makemytrip to rectify above ? I would be very wary to buy until I hear something positive (actually none of my neighbors / colleagues have used this yet so I have to rely on forums).

                                    How long has it been for Makemytrip since they started running these special fares. In my opinion this would be a 'sticky' feature for the company to keep making their customers coming back to their site and book with them, instead o[censored]sing them (as in the past) to just price shop and leave to book elsewhere.

                                    Sincerely hope this program starts working for passengers, since the deals are good, and no reason (barring the technicalities) for it to not work. It is Makemytrip.com after all. However, for now I am holding off to start using them until someone else does.

                                      my Booking ID for make my Trip. is IN1110B12695. I have booked package tour for Kanyakumari from 25th Dec 2011 to 27th Dec 2011 with MMT on 23rd Oct 2011 by paying Rs 18366/- ( 12366 towards hotel and rest rs 6000/- for vehicle for 3 days ) The vehicle was supposed tio pick me at nagercoil on 25 th Dec at 0900 hrs and then 3 days sight seeing in around Kanyakumari and on 27th Dec dropping at KK Rly station at 1500 hrs. But on 20th Dec 2011 , The vendor ( who was supposed to provide me vehicle) informed me that he is not in position to provide vehicle at Kanyakumari for above period due to certain reason. So I informed MMT and requested to make alternate arrangements. Suddenly on 24th Dec 2011 around 1015 hrs, Mr Dilip of MMT informed me that MMT was not able to provide us the vehicle and MMT would be refunding Rs 6000 with in 10 days by crediting money to my credit card account. But they have not done. Now since 8th January 2011, I am sending e mails to MMT regarding refund of my Rs 6000/- + intrest wef 23rd Oct 2011+ harassment charges but there is no response.

                                      Now I am bringing this matter to consumer complaint on line . Please help me in this matter .

                                      I had a bad experience with makemytrip.com..I have booked a flight ticket for Mumbai to South Africa and i was getting a very poor service from the customer care. When i call first for the extension of my ticket i was told that the amount extra charge will be 3200 and thEn when proceed with the payment it got disconnected, and when call back they tell me that they will charge 7200 i still agree to pay the amount but still they charged 3200RS+7200RS. so 3200RS was extra charge for what ? when i try to call the customer care i was told that they cannot assist because their system is not working ..And when I call again they told me that they will give me back 3200 within 7 days, and one thing this is the worst service i have ever seen .

                                        I had made my booking through make my trip for Funtastic Thailand in the month of december.

                                        I wanted to avail the cash back offer for international travels offered by make my trip. I had been in contact with Sumit Chaudhary & Neha Mehta(Initially) from operation team, who helped me to pay the payment through IVR and he informed me that I will be getting cash back in 7 working days.

                                        After 15 days of my travel, I contacted Make My Trip operation team[Sumit Chaudhary] asking the reason for not receiving the cash back. He simply IGNORED the calls initially and then one day Sumit Chaudhary picked the call and requested me to provide the credit card details & he will get back to me soon with the reasons.

                                        After one week I again contacted Sumit Chaudhary and this time it was shocking to see he either didnt picked the call or when I call him he simply laughs or pretend that he is NOT Sumit Chaudhary. This is very shameful & disappointing how they treat their customers.
