I tried an online booking from makemytrip.com and the booking wasnt processed but still my money was debited from the account. And its been 24 days they give assurance of 72 hrs everyday but do not process on anything. Its a mental harrassment as online booking company like makemytrip have no local authorities to solve issues and they are not reliable. makemytrip.comis a fraud company confiscating consumer money for no reason.

The amount is Rs. 6177 and now atleast respect your own assurance of 5-7 days now.

    I had tried to make a booking from MakeMyTrip on 18th July and the booking got failed for some reason.
    They say they made a refund of amount Rs 5304 on 26th July and since than I have called up more than 10 times to check and they kept saying the refund will be in 21 days. It has being more than 21 days now and the refund is not made yet. Earlier they said it takes 5 days to get the amount reflected. And than started saying as 21 days.

    I again called on 17th Aug 4.30pm to check on the refund with Rupali Gauchand and she mentioned MakeMyTrip will get back in 48 hours. Its being more than 48 Hours and now when I am calling again talking to Sandip Suri, they say it is 72 hours wait time. Everytime I am calling they have a new reason.

    The refund is not done yet.

    Over the last couple of days I talked to below representatives from MakeMyTrip.

    20/8: Sandeep Suri (Sandeep.[protected]@makemytrip.com)
    He mentioned that the amount for sure will get reflected on 24th Aug. Which is not done.
    25/8: Tejinder.[protected]@makemytrip.com :
    Same story is repeated by each and every representative.

    I see a lot of complaints are being made. please take necessary action

      i tried to book an air ticket for two persons from jaipur to new delhi through makemytrip.com portal and made the payment using my SBI account, but after the payment was successful the website showed error and after that when i spoke to the customer care they said to book the ticket again and that they would refund the amount in 72 hours, so the next morning i again booked the same ticket but when i spoke to customer care regarding my refund they put my call on hold several times (precisely 5 or 6 times) for more than 12 minutes and still they have no clue about what should be done or what went wrong or how this problem would be solved. so kindly look into the matter regarding the refund of the deducted amount and the poorest customer care service of makemytrip.com

      On 18th november, 2011, I tried to book an airticket from Trivandrum to sharjah, uae by airindia express with www.makemytrip.com . I tried paying with my FGB credit card an amount of Rs.11630 /-. Due to low session timeout (a technical defect in makemytrip.com) the session was timed out and I received a mail from makemytrip.com with following details:
      Booking Unsuccessful
      MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NN[protected], NN[protected]
      Booking Date - Wed, 18November, 2011
      Rs.1024/ from my a/c of IOB, KOLKATA for one day (31.01.12) of 2 room hotel booking has been debited without confirmation . pl indicate the booking status.

        We booked our honeymoon tour from make my trip, as promised they gave us 3 * hotel.

        Some key things of so called 3 STAR hotel

        · No AC remote control

        · Fridge has patchy spots

        · A small dressing table patchy skins

        · No Door bell

        · Wall does not have good paintings/colors

        · Switch board is naked and hanging

        · Bathroom does not have even bath tub

        · Room does not have even cup plate

        · No chair

        · No space where no person can move

        · A bed of 5*6 ???????????????????

        · A 17 inch old colour TV

        · Haphazard curtain on window

        · No terrace

        · A narrow Lobby (connecting room) where hardly two person can move together



        Is it 3 Star????????????????? If yes then please check dictionary before planning anything. You people are only good to spoil someone’s good moment.

        This room is not better than a servant room.

          Dear Sir

          I booked Hotel Room in VIP Continental at Kolkata on dt[protected] for 3 night from[protected] to[protected] through Make my Trip booking id No. IN1108B06198 and i have paid Rs. 6667/- for Semi Deluxe Room.

          When i was check out Hotel Reception showing me total bill of Rs. 5478 than why Make my trip charge me Rs.6667/-.

          Secondly when i asked to Hotel person to give me copy of this bill he refused to give the same and told me that make my trip will give you bill.

          According to Make my Trip they are very cheapest service provider in India but they are charging Rs. 1000 extra after the hotel bill.

          Please look at the above mention matter, kindly advise me what should i do??

            I booked an air ticket from Mumbai to Delhi from Make My Trip. The flight was of Air India's flight(AI-101) for 15th August at 800 PM. In the ticket it was nowhere mentioned that from which airport flight will take off. As there are two airports in Mumbai domestic and international . I was waiting for flight at domestic terminal when I came to know that flight is scheduled from International Terminal I had to hire a cab for going to International Airport as it was urgency I had to pay hefty amount to the cabdriver and had to bear lot of mental and physical trauma at the last moment.
            I want to take some strict action against such kind of erratic services against the booking travel agent. I am thinking towards going to consumer forum and IATA for such kind of pathetic treatment of customers for avoiding such actions on my part I should be compensated adequately and promptly.

              Nobody has reached even over phone. If makemytrip cannot do any thing if there is delay, u should not provide for the facility. its better to remove from offering such facilities in future.

              It is obvious that every site provides for such a thing with an asterisk. it is lesson for all people.
              Just want to share my experience with bus journey from Bangalore to Vellor. On 25th of September, My bus started from Madiwala at 3:45 pm.
              I booked ticket twice from makemytrip in volvo. Each time I find somebody else sitting on my reserved seat and they simply refuse to give my seat.
              When I talked to bus operator, he offered me some other non preferred seat.

              Makemytrip says, the bus operator has the authority to change the seat at run time. If this is the case then I do not understand why they provide option to book the ticket and choose the seat.
              I advise everybody that for bus atleast, DO NOT use the makemytirp gateway. Better u call the bus operator and get the booking done directly. You cannot rely the alliance between makemytirp and the bus operator.
              If you get in some problem they are not going to listen you but give you a number of bus operator and request you to talk to them directly.

              BEWARE OF THE TRAP...

                I have booked one hotel at digha through make my trip , details of booking is Hotel Aditya Interntional , inclusive of break fast, hotel amenities , a/c deluxe, mini bar at room on 9th august 2011 , vied booking id NH[protected] by paying 2310 upfront through my debit card for staying on 14th aug 2011 to 5th aug 2011. through make my trip online booking services.

                After that I received many welcome mails and my hotel confirmation voucher where it was mentioned that " my hotel booking is confirmed and i don't need to check the same with hotel or make mytrip."

                However I received a call on 10th aug from make my trip customer service from number [protected] that hotel aditya internetional is fully booked and i cant get accommodation there an they have booked my room to Hotel Rubina in digha , which is supposed to be a four bedroom package with same amenties, a/c , mini bar in room which is costing 3200 as per make my trip website and since it was a fault of make my trip that my actual booking of aditya international was not confirmed , so i don't have to pay extra charge. And the gentleman of your company confirmed that they will send me mail of my booking confirmation.

                However today on 11th august I didn't got any mail , and when i called your toll free number and spoke to mr Shammi, a cs executive I came to know that even Hotel Rubina is not confirmed and make my trip is trying to book some arrangement for me. We are talking daily with cs executive nikhil khalasof make my trip but nothing has been solved

                I would like to intimate make my trip that this was a planned trip and based on the confirmation of your company mail on 9th august 2011 that my hotel booking on aditya internation is confirmed I have paid rs 6000 for my car rental to go to kolkata to digha for 35 hours and the same is not refundable as per the car rental rules. So if it happens that my hotel is not confirmed i have to cancel the vacation , which will incurr me a loss of not only my emotion but also economical loss of 6000( car) + 2310(hotel, booked by make my trip).

                The company should arrange to refund my total loss of 8310rs which happened because of theirmismanagement and overcommitment to customers. Ho can you charge money and sent mails that hotel booking is confirmed when there is no place in hotel ??

                In spite of regular follow ups with the company , they are just not bothered.

                  MakeMyTrip is cheating general people. Please refrain yourself booking any travel via MakeMyTrip. I have booked railway ticket from Barrackpore to Murshidab and my travel date is today 12th August. Return Travel date is 14th August. Yesterday morning, I decided cancell the trip due to some personal reason. I logged in MakeMyTrip to cancell the ticket. After specifying all details, website popped a message that it is now trying to cancell via IRCTC server and I may need to wait upto 5 mintues. I waited but cancellation didn't happen. I tried several time through-out the day and coudn't get success. Later in the evening, I called their customer support. Now, in 1st attempt, I was hearing automatic music and commercial. I waited for 10 mins (in a STD call). In 2nd attempt, I was hearing waiting music and automated voice saying that they are receiving high call volume so I should be pleased to wait !!! I waited for 12 mins but nothing happened. This morning, I tried to call them again, nothing worked. I already sent 2 mail and received automatic confirmation along with ticket number. But till now, no response from them. I also tried to cancell my ticket online this morning. same result. They are not reachable by any mean.
                  My request to all viewers, please don't book any travel via MakeMyTrip and pass this alert to all your friends and relatives. I just lost Rs. 500. Some of your friend may loss much more than that.

                    I booked few of my tickets through makemytrip.com a few days ago, and a tatkal ticket yesterday. However, due to some emergency reasons, I had to request for cancellation. I've been trying since yesterday morning to do the cancellation, but the site always return "Cancellation Failed... Please try again after some time." After several trials and failure, I wrote through the "Write to us" column to them, but got no reply. Then, I contacted them on phone, but the lines were busy. So, I wrote again to their email, and got no reply. I called them up in the evening again and the executive tried to process my cancellation, and after some 5-6 minutes reported that they were encountering error, and to contact in the morning. In the morning I tried to do the cancellations, but it still returns the same failure notice. I have already lost the possible refund amount that I could get on the tatkal ticket. This was the first time I did a rail reservation through this site and because of their poor link quality have begun to already lose my money. There is no other way to do the cancellation of this e-ticket except through this site, so makemytrip.com is responsible for all the losses I am encountering, and they are good and not answering our queries as well. Kindly help.

                    Horrendous, Ruthless, In-Sensitive, Non-Cooperative, Rude Treatmen

                    I had redeemed my payback card on the makemytrip website on 17th feb 2013-sunday morning

                    I had redeemed 15, 800 points (INR 3750), for which payback has sent an order id on sms. order id-911166

                    to avail of my discount which was Rs.3, 950, MMT staff informed me that i need a e-voucher code which would be emailed by the payback team

                    As payback call centre operates only till 7pm, I had to wait for 10 hours now to speak with their team, this is the most shocking bit

                    When in conversation with the payback personnel (RAJAN CHETRI), I was informed that the evoucher is generated by MMT and they should have emailed it to me.

                    I, then initiated a conference call between MMT, Payback and myself, At first Ms.Nisha from MMT tells me blatantly to put this down on email and they will take 24 hrs to revert.

                    My only question to the above is"Why should i email, please call your senior"

                    After waiting for 5-7 minutes Mr Rahul, supposedly the floor supervisor intervenes and warns me on the way i speak, WOW!!!
                    He then put me on hold, comes back and tells me that the evoucher code would be emailed to me asap.
                    Also informs me that as per policies if a customer does not get an evoucher code immediately, he will receive it within 24 hours.

                      Buy Trouble Everytime you book from makemytrip free
                      I have Booked a ticket from Bangalore to Miami through MMT. at the time of booking they told that flight changes and cancellations are permitted. When I asked for the flight change for a stoppover, first

                      time I called some lady lift the phone and kept me on hold checking the information for almost 30 minutes.

                      Then second time I called on Mr. Jaspreet told that we cannot provide a stopover or change the flight. After my repeated request he told not possible. Then I called Emirates airlines and they told the stopover is possible and the same can be changed only by makemytrip as the ticket is booked by them.


                      Again I called makemytrip and told that emirates confirmed the changes are possible. after keeping me on hold for 15-20 minutes he told that changes are possible, then he went again on hold for another 10 minutes. after almost half an hour he told our systems are not allowing to do that, we cannot change it. I asked him check out the solutions and please give me a call back. But he told we cannot call back and we cannot change it also. I have almost spent 40 Minutes on the phone and not sure How to go about it.


                      You cannot do anything as every time you call someone else will lift the phone and you need to tell the complete story to him. For Booking they called me 3 times to book the flight. But once there is a problem they are not even ready to call back with a solution. The only option now left is to go to local emirates office and ask for help.


                      The Worst part is they don’t have courtesy to provide a call back to resolve the issue.

                      I had a similar issue earlier when I booked a holiday from MakeMyTrip for me and wife to Singapore & malaysia. They worngly booked the tickets on other day. and then charged a penalty for the flight changes. Only Reason I booked through makemytrip again is American Express provides 10 times rewards point for booking through MakeMyTrip.

                      Hope MakeMyTrip.com upgrades it standards considering it is listed in US stock exchnage now

                        This to bring to your notice that the trip(Malasiya & Singapore) organized by makemytrip is totally unforgettable and remarkable for “looting” the money in professional manner by professional people.

                        Below are the step by step processes of “looting” money from the customers by Makemytrip,

                        Day#01 : We booked the date of departure from Chennai on July 27th and paid the advance money of Rs.60000.

                        Day#02 : Over the night we took the decision to preponed the date due to some unavoidable circumstances and informed the same next day to makemytrip.

                        Then the drama starts by Makemytrip as follows,

                        We heard from Mr loot(Makemytrip) tickets, hotel accommodations already(overnight) booked etc and the amount can’t be adjusted in the prepond trip. After lots of arguments with professional looter(makemytrip)we settled with some compensation to looters. Customer(we)lost RS.12000- lost # 01

                        Once we agreed to proceed, we heard from operation people that our passports original to be submitted but we were not in position to give the originals since am living in Dubai and working at West Africa and same was well known by your Marketing people.

                        At last after thinking, thinking and your people comes with solution that organize your visa own (one family at Chennai and second family at Dubai) and the same was done with makemytrip cost but I have wasted my 3days holiday!!! Who will pay for that???? My cost per hour is 50USD x10x3=1500USD.- lost # 02

                        Finally we(second family) started departure to Malaysia on 25th June 11:25am at Dubai and reached Malaysia at 7:30am on 26th June. After travelling such long journey we surprise to note that there is No Hotel for us upto 2;30pm and the pickup car left us in the lobby and went away. This first insistence with your Malaysians local traveler as same like looter(Makemytrip). Only the difference he is looting in malasiya and you are looting India.

                        Here I wanted to tell another story about looter, another family also arrived that day thro makemytrip from Delhi and they were waiting since 4;00am till 2;00pm to get the accommodation in Hotel.


                        The local tours organized by looter is utter waste, we went to see some naturals, historical places but they took us in gallerys, granite shops and cholate factories etc..

                        After fedup with these peoples we organized our ownway to see the things around which costs around 1800USD – lost # 03

                        There is upper most looter(Malasiyan traveler) story please read from our police report which we filed in Malasiya. In this we lost # 140USD to transfer Malasiya to Singapore.- lost # 04.




                        AGREED REFUND AMOUNT

                        On 25th June, while leaving from Bangalore to Malaysia via Chennai due to traffic jam I (one family) am not able to reach the Airport on time and I called jet airways and cancelled the tickets which were booked by Make My Trip. Jet airways confirmed that cancellation charge will be 500 Rs per ticket from Bangalore to Chennai, 1000 Rs per ticket from Chennai to Kaulalumpur. So I booked new ticket in my own cost. I asked for refund amount to Mrs. Akriti (Looter) and she told cancellation charge is 6500 Rs per person, so after deducting cancellation charge she confirmed that I will get 30,000 Rs. This amount still I have not received yet, I sent two mails regarding this when I will get refund amount but no response from any one. At the time of doing payment Looters(Make my trip) were calling 10 times in a day, but in refund case I have not received any single mail/call in 10-days. This shows their negligence. I have e-mails as proof. Our fight is not only to get our money but to teach lesson to Make my Trip Travel Agent team how to deal with customers and not to cheat customers.

                          I am civil engineer working in Liberia(West Africa), i booked Malaysia and Singapore tour package through 'Make My Trip'. First of all their service was worst in Malaysia and Singapore. We suffered lot there and we given complaint to Malaysia police also(please see attachment). But in this complaint i dont want to highlight all those things. This complaint is to get only refund amount what they agreed, thats it. I missed flight due to traffic while going from Bangalore, for that i cancelled flight ticket booked by make my trip and then i booked new ticket in my own cost. For that they told they will refund 30,000 Rs to my account. But still now that money is not deposited.

                          Please not that this complaint is only for getting refund amount, for problems what we faced in singapore and malaysia, i will write seperately.

                          I will book my tickets myself, you refund the the whole amount after deducting cancellation charges. I enquired with Jet Airlines while cancelling my ticket from Bangalore to Chennai , its 500 Rs cancelation charge and from Chennai to Kaulalumpur, its 1000 Rs. I have cancellation documents for that. So from Sinagapore to Chennai to Bnagalore it will be same, just now i called jet airways. So refund the amount at the earliest, i will book myself.

                          I had booked honeymoon trip to munnar and alapey. Last day palnned in alapey but on that day i can&#039;t able to enjoy because morning 7am i got a call from KPN travels that my ticket was cancelled and i need to arrange for myself. When try to contact make mytrip failed. Mr.rakesh was arranged all the tickets but he is replying mail as we will check it and update. finally i paid the ticket with the mail confirmation from rakesh. KPN refunded the amount to Makemytrip account. when my money will be returned.

                          I have cancelled my tickets on 27th August, 2014. I was supposed to receive 48964 INR for two tickets after the cancellation fees on 3rd September, 2014.But I have get a penny from make my trip. I am calling and mailing frequently but the response would be &quot;Please wait for 24 - 48 hrs&quot;. And also it is costing me more as I am making an international call to make my trip as I moved out of India. And again 4 days back they send a mail that they can give 26, 996INR as airline has send them so. First thing is time delay in refund. Second thing is why there is the change in the amount while refund. On the first place why we would we cancel our tickets if the cancellation fee is so high as I booked tickets for 60524 INR. I have cancelled tickets and booked the next day. If they have mentioned the cancellation fee is so high we would have travelled the same day rather than the next day. Make my trip customer care executives as mentioned us that the refund was 48964 INR. Hence we cancelled the tickets and now they are changing the things. If I say so to make my trip guys they again ask me to wait for 24-48hrs. I just need my refund money immediately. Please help me in this regard.

                          I was modifying my round trip booking date, on 18 Dec 14 ID-NF[protected] from 02 Jan 2015- 04 Feb 2015 to 02 Jan15- 04 Jan 15 and paid the amount of Rs 14751/- against it but due to some technical problem of makemytrip.com the date change did not occur and my money was showing as extra credit, so you promised me to refund the amount of Rs 14751/- on 18 Dec 14 but till now I have not received my refund or any other conformation I tried to call you number of times but every time i get respond that please wait 8 days, 6 days, 3 days working days.

                          I booked a ticket with Makemytrip.com for a journey on 24th December. I had a return ticket from Hyderabad to Delhi. I cancelled the ticket on 22nd of December&#039;2014. And I have not been yet refunded the amount for the same. Initially their point was that Spice jet has not returned the amount.                           i have cancelled the tkt on 26 october 2014.i was supposed to get Rs. 8007 of which I have received of Rs. 5000 on november 2014. On 8th december 2014, makemytrip has refunded the amount of Rs. 3007 with the UTI number P[protected]. I went to my bank with the UTI number, they said the money has not been credited into my account. They would not know the reason but they are guessing that it might be the ifsc code error. They suggest me to talk to makemytrip and tell that if they contact their bank with the same UTI number then they will know the exact reason of the amount crediting back to the sender&#039;s account.I have sent makemytrip my bank statement too. In the bank statement, you can clearly see that the amount of Rs. 5000 has been credited but not Rs. 3007. i have called your customer care more than 100 times and spoken to Mr. Nikhil, Mr. Abhilash, Ms. Sonu and so on. everytime i call they just say the same thing i.e. wait for 24 hours, i am sending the email to the concerned department. that is their usual answer. and even the emails, i will get this automatic reply. i am not sure that if they will read these emails.                           On Monday, 16 February 2015, I did one of the biggest mistakes in my life, and I booked a flight through Makemytrip.com. I&#039;ve received the Electronic ticket successfully within 20 minutes after making the payment by my credit card. Then, at midnight I checked my email and found a new message from one of the company&#039;s representatives called: Kulbir Singh. asking me to provide a photocopy of the credit card (backside and front side) and a photo ID of me. I replied and sent him the front side and informed him that the next day I&#039;ll send the backside and my photo id because I don&#039;t have them right now. (USD 1477.00). I checked with my Bank, but they informed me several times that no refund exists in my account! I waited until 1st of March to find a new email in my inbox from other representative called: Ruchi Panchal. (I was sending emails frequently all that period with no replies). Ruchi Panchal stated that he/she wants to track the refund transaction so I have to provide them the following information:

                          I&#039;ve sent all the requested information quickly and accurately.. and he/ she disappeared until this moment! I&#039;ve sent many reminders but they used their classic method (ignore the customer)!!

                          I want my refund immediately!! they delayed it in addition of the damage they caused to me when booking another ticket with a higher price ! I want the money ! or I will file a case against this company!!

                          All their methods are not convincing !! I feel there&#039;s something wrong! How they could cancel a ticket without notification!! for any reason! How could they mess with people&#039;s money!! and travel plans !! I want my money Back ASAP.. My experience was MadeMyTrip the worst ever!
                          On Monday, 16 February 2015, I did one of the biggest mistakes in my life, and I booked a flight through Makemytrip.com. I&#039;ve
                          received the Electronic ticket successfully within 20 minutes after
                          making the payment by my credit card. Then, at midnight I checked my

                          We have been advice by makemytrip customer care to cancel the ticket and we will get refund in 10 working days. We have been waiting for more than 2 months now . MakemyTrip is not providing any proof that they are following the airline and also they are not giving our refund . We get different replies from customer care . We cancelled because makemytrip advice us to cancel and now they are not refunding the money for cancelled air line ticket.

                            It was a horrible experience of Nanital trip which we have booked through makemy trip (Booking ID-IN1106B11244) from 30th Jun to 3rd Jul. We have been told about the resort that it is 3* after reaching we could not belive, is this a 3* resort, it was pathetic, that lodge has only 4 rooms. We have booked deluxe room, whereas it seems to be a simple PG room. Everything was unhygenic from fooding to cleanliness. We have spend Rs.40K for 3 nights 2 days, but we could not stay for a night, forcibly we have changed out accomodation.
                            How can be wrong information is provided & company is miniting money on this.Not acceptable. Beware of such fraudelent offers.
                            horrible moment as family was with us (wife and children).
                            after that we have done our own arrangments by paying approx 40K more.

                                We have taken a customized travel package from Make My trip for Italy. The itenary was sent to us on mail basis which we made the payment also.

                                However, now they are refusing to give us the same package citing unavailbilty as the reason.

                                This is highly unprofessional and amounts to cheating the customer.

                                We have repeatedly called the customer care helpline but our calls are being disconnected after hearing the complaint.

                                We are in shock and anger and want immidiate action.

                                    Had booked 3 British Airway airline tickets Mumbai-London LHR-Mumbai with makemytrip.com, under booking
                                    ID NN[protected] passengers name Mrs.Durriya Hozef Darukhanawala,
                                    NN[protected] passenger name Mr.Hozef Abdulhussain Darukhanawala and
                                    NN[protected] passenger name Ms.Zainab Hozef Darukhanwala. the flight details are below.

                                    BA-198 Departure 12th July 2011 Tue from Mumbai to LHR 13:20 hrs
                                    BA-198 Arrival 29th July 2011 Friday LHR-Mumbai 11:05 hrs

                                    Due to certain reasons we could not travel at the same date and needed to change the onward date of the round trip

                                    To do so we called the toll free number of makemytrip[protected] and spoke to a certain Mr.Balwant in Chandigarh. We asked for a change of dates from
                                    Tuesday 12th July to Wednesday 13th July for each of the tickets.
                                    We asked him if all the seats were together because he changed all of them individually taking a minimum of half an hour for each ticket. He informed us that there are 9 tickets available for the 13th Wed. We continiously re-confirmed whether the tickets were TOGETHER and he confirmed so and did the needfull costing us 5500 INR on each ticket.

                                    The tickets were mailed to us online on the id- hozef.[protected]@gmail.com and we were shocked to see that he had booked 2 tickets on one flight and the third on a different flight altogether

                                    Mr.Hozef darukhanawala and Ms.Zainab Darukhanwala were booked on BA-198 Wed 13th July
                                    BUT Mrs.Durriya Darukhanawala ID-NN[protected] was booked for
                                    BA-138 Wed 13th July 2011.
                                    SO he changed the flight number for one of the passengers when we asked him for change of onward date of travel.

                                    When we further called[protected] and spoke to Mr.Narendra in Chandigrh itself,we informed him of the mistake on their side,he refused to accept it.

                                    We then asked him for a solution and to the problem on hand and asked him for a change of flight from BA-138 to BA-198 for Mrs.Durriya Darukhanawala on Wed 13th July.
                                    he informed us that there are no tickets available in the economy cabin and we wil need to pay an extra of 48,000 INR for the ticket available.
                                    I would also like to add he was extremely rude and non-considerate.
                                    He said he will hear the recording of the call to Mr.Balwant and hear it to clear the air and find whose mistake it was.

                                      I had confirmed ticket NF[protected]. But when I reached Bangalore airport, the GoAir informed me that because makemytrip did not paid them, they cancelled the ticket. Since I had urgent meeting in Bombay and was suppose to return same day, I had pay on-spot 5086 rupees and get new ticket issued for the same flight of GoAirlines from Bangalore. Because of this I contacted MakeMyTrip to refund 5086 rupees which where unnecessarily I had to pay though I had confirmed ticket. I have send several reminder to MakeMyTrip in this regard. They took a month for their verification and on 24May they agreed to refund 5086. After that I had send several reminders and every time they write that it will be credited in 72hrs. Their last email is on 23Jun that they will credit money within 72 hrs and finally on 30Jun they credited 2085 instead of 5086.

                                      Since last more than two month I am behind them to get the money credited but without success. Request you to help in expediate things.

                                        I am making a serious complaint of one of the well known company in tourism MAKEMYTRIP.. I see the advertisement of this company on various channels which saddens me further.This company has a little focus on giving service to tourist.
                                        The sequence of event of my case are as under.:
                                        1) I have booked Hotel The Denzong Shangrilla,Gangtok on 21 April for 4days.The copy of TICKET HOTEL is attached.The ticket is fully refundable on cancellation if booked before 22nd April.This is clearly printed on ticket.One of the reason to purchase this ticket was that it is fully refundable on cancellation.
                                        2) We checked in as per schedule on 1st May.The rooms allotted were not delux rooms.On our protest out of two room one room they converted in to delux room.
                                        3) There was not water in Bathrooms in the Hotel in Morning.We have to take bath with buckets of water brought from here there.
                                        4)On 3rd Morning we had to go to zero point.We wanted to vacate hotel for one day. We talked to Mr Ranjeet of Customer Care of makemytrip for cancellation of booking for one day.After checking he informed as per terms of booking cancellation is possible.He requested us to get a letter of cancellation from hotel.We got the letter and copy is attached as denzongpdf.
                                        5) We have clearly discussed with Managing Director of Hotel Mr Soumya Ghosh.He agreed .He said that refund will be made by makemytrip.He allowed us to cancel the booking for one day 3rd may and kept our baggage in his hotel.We told him that next day on 4May again we will be returning to same hotel.He said that Hotel is fully booked and probably he will have to accommodate us in other hotel as Denzong is fully booked.
                                        6) Both Mr Ranjeet and Mr Soumya Ghosh never told us that refund is not admissible.Else we would not have taken the trouble of vacating the room and keeping the luggage in lock room.
                                        7)We returned on 4May.Hotel Denzong has made arrangements in nearbye hotel and we checked out on 5 May.Mr Soumya Ghosh has maintained that money will be refunded by makemytrip.
                                        Now makemytrip is refusing to honor our claim of refund.
                                        They are finding defact in our booking which is fully refundable on cancellation siting reason of promotional code which was not there any way on net at the time of booking. You please read our ticket booking paper which clearly says that ticket is refundable on cancellation.That is what was interpreted by Mr Ranjeet and Mr Soumya Ghosh .This was the reason they allowed us to cancel the booking on 3rd May.
                                        I am attaching a cancellation letter of Hotel Denzon which hotel has given us for getting refund from makemytrip.Now Mr Soumya Ghosh it appears refusing to honor our claim of refund.
                                        I request you to take my case as case study as so many tourist are being treated like this by makemytrip.Please search on net and you will find at 1000 complaints like this.I am taking up this complaint not only for money.I want that makemytrip should have efficient system of handling tourist grievances.
