[Resolved] Maruti Service Masters — Misbehaviour at MSM
I had intended to purchase one Maruti car from True Value Service from Maruti Service Masters, Okhla. Ms. Sharda of Maruti Service Masters had confirmed that cars of various models are available at Okhla thus I visited your Okhla outlet on Saturday i.e 06.06.2009. While parking my Vista Car outside the premises of Maruti Service Motors at Okhla, the guard posted at your premises there, asked me to leave the car in neutral gear and without applying hand break so that if required they can move the car to and fro.
Thereafter, I went inside and checked the cars and select one car and paid the booking amount of Rs.10000/- vide cheque drawn on SBI. While I came out of your premises, to my utter surprise I found my car in a damaged condition probably hit by another vehicle outside your premises. On enquiring from the guard standing, he showed his total ignorance. Then I asked the guard to call some senior official he did not bulge to my request and I went to the guard room at gate and called out the senior of the guard sitting in the office at gate. Even when he failed to give any proper response, I wanted to contact the In-charge of the Maruti Service Master, Okhla unit, Mr. Praveen who said he is in-charge of the office, came and the whole situation was explained to him, but I was very surprised that instead o[censored]nderstanding the problem and damage done to my brand new car, which occur due to negligence of your staff there, he also started giving funny explanations rather than settling the matter, went on to the extent of saying that this dent is “very old”. His behavior was totally unresponsive and not like that of an officer. Thereafter he started ageing further creating a scene followed by some ruffian looking persons starting fight with me and my wife. They were ready for a physical fight, leaving me no option but to leave your premises without being able to contact the Manager in the Pre-owned section. We were further told that the deal can be treated as cancelled for which I had paid the money as advance.
It was such as mood dampener as which I was buying the car to gift my wife on her coming birthday that I could reconcile only after a long time thus contacted Ms. Sharda on next day. Since Mr. Harjeet Singh was not immediately available she connected me with him later in the day. He was very polite and also felt bad and agreed to do as we feel fine even cancelling the order, which was although done on the previous day.
I feel you will agree with me that this happening makes me feel unsafe to visit your Maruti Service Masters at Okhla with my wife thus I request you to kindly:-
i) Close the deal and refund my money which has already been conveyed by me and agreed to, by your officials.
ii) Get the matter investigated thoroughly and take corrective steps to save such ugly situations happening to your customers, which include the ladies also. Also the senior officers should be asked to be more responsive and take stock of situation and conduct himself like an officer, to avoid taking such ugly terns.
iii) As a responsible Corporate, own the loss and get my damaged vehicle repaired.
Your urgent intervention would be highly appreciated; else people will gradually lose faith in such a prestigious company.
I hope to get an immediate reply action from your end.
