[Resolved]  Maruti Service Masters — Misbehaviour at MSM

I had intended to purchase one Maruti car from True Value Service from Maruti Service Masters, Okhla. Ms. Sharda of Maruti Service Masters had confirmed that cars of various models are available at Okhla thus I visited your Okhla outlet on Saturday i.e 06.06.2009. While parking my Vista Car outside the premises of Maruti Service Motors at Okhla, the guard posted at your premises there, asked me to leave the car in neutral gear and without applying hand break so that if required they can move the car to and fro.

Thereafter, I went inside and checked the cars and select one car and paid the booking amount of Rs.10000/- vide cheque drawn on SBI. While I came out of your premises, to my utter surprise I found my car in a damaged condition probably hit by another vehicle outside your premises. On enquiring from the guard standing, he showed his total ignorance. Then I asked the guard to call some senior official he did not bulge to my request and I went to the guard room at gate and called out the senior of the guard sitting in the office at gate. Even when he failed to give any proper response, I wanted to contact the In-charge of the Maruti Service Master, Okhla unit, Mr. Praveen who said he is in-charge of the office, came and the whole situation was explained to him, but I was very surprised that instead o[censored]nderstanding the problem and damage done to my brand new car, which occur due to negligence of your staff there, he also started giving funny explanations rather than settling the matter, went on to the extent of saying that this dent is “very old”. His behavior was totally unresponsive and not like that of an officer. Thereafter he started ageing further creating a scene followed by some ruffian looking persons starting fight with me and my wife. They were ready for a physical fight, leaving me no option but to leave your premises without being able to contact the Manager in the Pre-owned section. We were further told that the deal can be treated as cancelled for which I had paid the money as advance.

It was such as mood dampener as which I was buying the car to gift my wife on her coming birthday that I could reconcile only after a long time thus contacted Ms. Sharda on next day. Since Mr. Harjeet Singh was not immediately available she connected me with him later in the day. He was very polite and also felt bad and agreed to do as we feel fine even cancelling the order, which was although done on the previous day.

I feel you will agree with me that this happening makes me feel unsafe to visit your Maruti Service Masters at Okhla with my wife thus I request you to kindly:-
i) Close the deal and refund my money which has already been conveyed by me and agreed to, by your officials.
ii) Get the matter investigated thoroughly and take corrective steps to save such ugly situations happening to your customers, which include the ladies also. Also the senior officers should be asked to be more responsive and take stock of situation and conduct himself like an officer, to avoid taking such ugly terns.
iii) As a responsible Corporate, own the loss and get my damaged vehicle repaired.

Your urgent intervention would be highly appreciated; else people will gradually lose faith in such a prestigious company.

I hope to get an immediate reply action from your end.

SBI — Irresponsible behavior,negligence and no respect

Hi all Govt. related bank officers are behaving like very rude and they are feeling likk kings of the whole bank... and they dont want to work for people at all. We can see directly their irresponsible behavior and negligence and no respect to the people and most common thing is they dont maintain bank timings what they r written infront of the bank. and moreover even bank employees dont know who will doing which work and appropriate counters.

Now we will discuss about call centers : They never pick up call i[censored] call their call center numbers. Even their automatic teller machines also wont respond how funny it is...

All SBI and Andhra BAnk employees are very rude in servicing customers. So I prefer to go to private banks.

MSM — Garbage lying on road not collection:

Garbage lying on road not collection:

There is no place to through garbage and no one to collect it is simply laying on road people daily use this place for urinals. We have garbage lying around in and around the house and it is very difficult to walk on that road. Is BBMP really taking care of this kind of work? It is Near J.P Nagar 7th Phase 3 A cross Nrupathunga Nagar Bangalore-78.

Kindly provide us the solution to through or pick up the garbage.

I gave my Car on Saturday 10/04/2010 in the morning for Taflon coating & minor scratches to MSM, Jahangirpuri, Delhi. They promise to deliver the car in the evening same day. Till now, 6 days has elapsed. They have not yet deliver the car nor they gave the status of the vehicle. Moreover, I call Mr. Sunil tomar (supervisor of my car), but he has not even picked my phone. So, I frustated from their behaviour. Now, I request you to do something, so that they can deliver my vehicle whether repaired or not in any condition. I will be very thankful to you.

respected sir, with regards to the above subject, i would like to inform you that my above said vehicle has been serviced by msm guindy for the past 2 years all paid services have been done by them. i had left my vehicle for heating problem on 12 june 2010 . whereupon they told the vehicle has been rectified of the problem and told us to take delivery on 14 june 2010 at around 6 pm. this problem has been there for the past 2 yrs and msm has tried to rectify the same problem of engine heating many a times but to no effect. we took the delivery of the vehicle on 14 june and the vehicle was taken to our office on butt road just 1 km away. the next day we started the vehi cle at around 12 o clock and took it to dlf ramapuram to meet our client in the software park. at around 1.55pm we again started the vehicle and left dlf while on the road outside the dlf complex suddenly a fire started in the engine section of the vehicle at 2 pm. our driver and manager were on the said vehicle and they tried to douse the fire and cooled it. after which my manager called up msm guindy saying that the car had cought fire and kindly send some mechanic. msm promptly sent 2 people immediately within 20 minutes of our call. they saw the vehicle and called up the vehicle to tow our vehicle. they took our vehicle to msm guindy. by then our vehicle had done just 16kms after the last service on 14 th june. msm officials had promised that this was a minor accident and nothing to worry the problem would be taken care of as the car was insured.the next day they said that i will have to bear 2500rs from ourside this was told to us by mr madan who is the service manager at msm guindy.then they asked us to hand over original rc book, driving license and insurance all in original, which we submitted to them.they then asked us to fill up the claim form. the next day they called us up and said the insurance cannot be claimed as the vehicle has  been fitted with lpg kit.the lpg kit has been endorsed in our rc book on 4th january 2010.the insuarance was renewed by msm guindy of our vehicle on 24th feb 2010. at the time of renewing the insurance of our vehicle the vehicle was lying in msm guindy only, the people took photographs of the vehicle and asked for original rc book which we had submitted at that time. the rc book had the lpg endorsement on it, further the tank and other lpg system was also in our vehicle. what were the msm officials doing then. they should have guided us during the insurance renewal. the insurance certificate issued by royal sundaram alliance insu co ltd.now suddenly they are saying that since the lpg endorsement is not done in the insurance policy of the vehicle the insurance cant be claimed.and they have given us a quotation of  rs 1, 02, 749.27 for rectification of the problem.but to my little knowledge i have been going to msm regularly for the rectification of the heating problem in my vehicle.and i believe that the fire had occured due to over heating only. the behaviour of the msm staff is horrible since they are not at all ready to talk about their mistakes and are telling me to either take the vehicle or get it repaired. and not talk about the claim. i have also met the general manager of msm guindy but he too is not willing to help us out.on the contrary they are saying the vehicle got fired due to gas fitment done outside of msm.kindly note the following details.a) the vehicle was not running on lpgb) there was no lpg in the tankc) all parts of the lpg kit are intact including the rubber hoses of the lpg kit, which are in the engine area.d) the vehicle has been running on petrol for almost 15 days prior to the accident.then how come they claim that the vehicle got fired due to lpg.the vehicle is lying with msm guindy till date.i am amused and feel insulted with the behaviour of msm guindy office staff.they are only saying that the engine is working but the wiring has got fired.i felt that i should inform you of the incidents and take your kind guidnece and help in rectifying the problem, before taking any action against msm guindy.kindly inform me what i should do.anticipating your early response to this mail.as a responsible (msm)own the loss and get my damaged vehigle repaird i hope to get an immediate reply action from your end

Poonam Gaba, MSM is an irresponsible company. I have tow cars of maruti one m800, second gen estilo.my m800 servised & repaired by MSM from last five year.very bad expirences I am holding with MSM. They repair one fault & ready your vhicle for another fault.I faced this problem many time.MSM situated at GT Karnal road, Jahangir puri is a totaly froud company.

KIND ATTENTION : CHAIRMAN & MANAGING DIRECTOR, MSM, DELHI


This is Mrs.LAKSHMI.U. of Annanagar, Chennai. Though I had a good impression on MSM, EKKATUTHANGAL, CHENNAI, for which I chose to go all the way to Guindy, far away from my place, and I am totally disappointed by the choice of employees, who are not customer-friendly, arrogant and lethargic.. How difficult it is to create a brand name, which the owner only knows, for which the customers come there, is totally spoilt by a few employees. For instance, I had bad responses to my phone call for an emergency enquiry on a Sunday, though it was working for the benefit of the customers, where they talk personal matters to themselselves keeping me on line, trying to call a service technician on duty, who tries to avoid the call telling her to handle it.

Moreover, when I personally went to give my car for service, which was taken for service quoting big compalaints of engine, for which they took a week*s time and charged me for Rs. 12, 000/- for nothing. But to my surprise, the car for handed over to me with complaints which were not there when I handed over. For eg. Moving car getting stopped suddenly in the middle of the road, atleast six to seven times from the very next day from service, for all which I have proof, which happened once every week immediately after delivery, till date(car delivered in mid November), water tank of the wiper leaking, horn not audible (which was rectified coming home), thrice the Technicians came home but rectified the engine sound and horn only, all due to non-completion of properly assmbly of parts done wantedly, and changing o[censored]nneccessary parts known to the WORKS MANAGER, the GENERAL MANAGER in first floor, who are aware of everything. The point to be noted is, no respect or voice for their superiors, which shows POOR ADMINISTRATION, Tomorrow again I am taking the car there, hoping for remedy!

Hoping that you would restore the office in good shape for the benefit of your beloved customers and help me to get back my car in good shape.

I am having Maruti Alto car,
The Service Provided by your Local Srevice was Satis factory rather good. But Since last two months I am looking for door latch of Lift front fro my car this small part is not available in any of your service centers in Raipur CG nor with the Authorised Spare parts Dealer in Raipur.
My door lock is not working and when ever that door has to be opened First I have to get down & open the door. Kindly Arrange one for me I will pay what ever is the cost.

This is the case were experience bad time with MSM, I sent my car Swift VXI, for full AC replacement, initial estimate quoted 25000/- later revised quote 29, 000/- later during the delivery the cost increased to 32, 000/- and the vehicle delivered in worst conditions, I inspected and tested the AC, and sent back reporting poor conditions, In meantime without any approval, the they have changed few parts and charged me another 8000/- I was shocked and disagreed, but they said pay the amount and take the vehicle or else we ill deliver the car. (There was response reporting to any higher level) I spoke to Amir Nair, or Capt. A Choudhary (Managing Director) all are in same note no positive reactions.

Next time sending your car to MSM Chennai think twice ?

Dear Sir,
My car bearing number TN09BW1856 has been sent to replacing the Clutch assembly set and the estimate of repair carrying spare parts cost and labour amounts to around Rs 7, 000/Upon verifying from reputed manufacturer, the spare costs only around Rs 3, 000/-I understand that the labour cost carries 70% of spare part cost, charging Rs 2, 800/.As the car is kept above by the lift and the replacement of defective clutch assembly is done without disturbing the gear box.The labour cost is charged very high and so the spare part which seems to be unfair trade practices.I am the regular customer and insurance trough your company, I feel that you may like to reconsider the matter by fixing the repairing cost most reasonably.
